THE KIDNAP.

“Liam, our moms and dads are inside the ballroom. What are you doing here?!” I questioned, admiring the beautiful roses around us. I could perceive the sweet smell of the roses he was tending to. I see why he was always smelling of roses whenever he was with me. It was from the red roses in Mom’s garden. “I’ve been looking all over the place for you. Liam. Are you even listening to me, Liam?!” Liam smiled and finally noticed me. “What are you doing here, Aurora? Shouldn’t you be at the gathering in the ballroom with your mom and dad?” “That’s my line.” I dropped my gown and folded my arms across my chest. “I know I should be in the gathering with them. Well, you disappeared, and you were nowhere to be found. That’s why I came here to search for you. What are you doing here?!” I questioned again. He glanced at me with a little smirk on his face and said, “You look adorable, Aurora.” He stood up on his feet and leaned closer to my ears. “I love the gown. Told you it was gonna suit you.” He then wrapped his arms around my shoulders and leaned his head on my neck. “Thanks.” I swallowed the lump in my throat. Why was my heart beating so fast? Why is he always smelling this good? I’m glad he loved the gown. I thought it wouldn’t suit me when he chose it for me at the shop. “Your scent always calms me down, Aurora.” He whispered in my ear and sighed. I could feel his hot breath on my ears. I hugged Liam and said, “Anyone could see us and interpret it wrongly because of our posture.” “Don’t you like it when I touch you?” He chuckled, and my heart swelled and melted at the sound of his chuckle. Liam is super addictive. It could be his aura or something. His beautiful green eyes are one thing that captures the soul. His angelic, smooth voice is amazing and soothing to the mind. “Don’t say words like that.” I protested. He took a step back away from me with a wide grin. “Okay! Relax. I don’t want you to feel anxious.” “I’m not anxious.” I denied his statement out of shame. Well, he was telling the truth. I was anxious because if anyone sees us in the posture we were in, we will be doomed to failure. He laughed and dipped his hand into his pocket, brought out a silver, beautiful bracelet with my name boldly and beautifully printed on it. “Bring out your hand.” he instructed. I did, and he clipped the bracelet around my wrist. “How did you get this? It is beautiful.” I almost screamed with excitement. “I’m glad you liked it.” “Wow! I can’t wait for everyone to see it. It is beautiful, Liam. Thank you so much.” He is always getting me presents. Liam nodded and hugged me. ‘And thanks to you, Aurora. You also made my day.’ “How? I have done nothing for you yet and—" “You’ve done more than enough, baby.” He laughed and hugged my waist, carried me up in his arms and swung me around a little. “You are my forever, girl.” I felt my cheeks warming up. “Hey, Liam. Stop calling me that. Anyone could hear us. We are both 14 years old. Stop doing that.” He laughed and motioned me to follow him to the ballroom. “Come on, let’s go have some fun. I’m getting bored.” I looked at the bracelet one time with a sweet smile and ran after him. I happily shouted after him. ‘alright.’ Every day was normal like it was until I got kidnapped at the ballroom with a man covering my nose with a black little cloth which put me to sleep. When I woke up, I saw blood all over my surroundings and Liam was in the middle of the men, who I think kidnapped me. “Liam.” I muttered, and he noticed I was awake and ran towards me. He loosened the rope the kidnappers used in tying me and hugged me. My heart was at my chest and I didn’t know what else to do. Yet, the feeling of being kidnapped by unknown strangers, never seeing my parents, my best friends, Jane and Liam again, terrified me and moved me to tears. I was so frightened that I hugged Liam too tight and cried so bitterly like I had never done before. “It’s okay, baby, I’m here. Don’t cry anymore.” Would anyone have ever found me if Liam hadn’t rescued me? When I pulled away from Liam, he looked so pale and spilled blood from his mouth on my body. He kept coughing so badly and holding his neck. “Liam! Liam! Liam!” I shouted, panicking at what was happening to him. His body shook for a second, and he collapsed in my arms. “Liam! Somebody! Please! Help!” I screamed and tried waking Liam up. His state was terrible and bloody. I shook him a couple times to get up, but he wasn’t bulging. Suddenly, the bodyguards of the clan flooded the entire area and uncle Aiden was among them. “Liam.” He shouted and ran closer to us with his bodyguards. He carried Liam in his arms and looked at me. “What happened?!” I shook my head. “I don’t know what happened. Upon waking up, I noticed him standing in the middle of these men—” I explained to him what had happened and how I had been secretly kidnapped by unknown strangers from the ballroom. I had no clue on how I got here. He sighed and carried Liam in his arms and stood up on his feet. “Take the princess to the pack.” “YES SIR.” His two bodyguards carried me up to the car and we drove to the pack. As soon as we got to the pack, my parents, especially my mom, cried so much, sighting her eyes on me and hugged me. I pulled away from her and ran to Liam, still in uncle Aiden’s arms, asleep. I was worried about Liam more than myself. Why wasn't he waking up? “Is he gonna be okay?” I was not thinking straight. I have never seen him in this state before. I just wanted Liam to be fine and kicking. It was my fault he got hurt, and I needed to do something and not sit behind, doing nothing. “Yes, he is going to be okay.” Uncle Aiden replied to me. “No, he is not.” We all looked at the priestess of the pack coming towards us with a rotten black large stick in her right hand.
