EPISODE 4- MISUNDERSTANDING

I saw the five teenagers who seem to be some sort of adventurers. I walked towards them slowly, but as I got closer to them, I noticed that they had become defensive and started to point their weapon at me.

I got near the five teens who are behind the magic barrier that is common to a safe zone. I then looked at the teenagers who looked at me with fear. Which I understood because who wouldn't be scared if they saw an eight-foot guy walks toward them covered in blood.

As I was observing them Xyra suddenly spoke to me. “Sir, would you like to analyze these life forms?”

Xyra sounded kinda rude for me, but also sounded kinda cocky? She spoke something that an overlord alien would call a human being.

I replied to Xyra, “That's quite rude of you Xyra, these life forms are humans. I was also a former human myself.”

“Really Sir!?” uttered Xyra with a surprised voice.

“Why is that thing not doing anything?” spoke David who was pointing his two-handed broad sword at the giant figure in front of him.

“Maybe his definitely a monster from this dungeon. That's why he's just standing outside the barrier, as he cannot get in." Spoke Bella who was pointing her bow.

“That sounds reasonable?” spoke David after hearing Bella.

“You can analyze them, Xyra. As I am also curious about these teenagers.”

“As you wish, sir” Xyra then filled my screen with a message board, that seemed to resemble an ID card.

NAME: Karl More

Role: Tank/ Support / Heavy Knight

So this is the party members' vanguard or tank, which is very obvious from his equipment and skills. But this guy sure is weak to be on this floor. How about this guy with the two-handed broad sword.

So this must be their physical Damage dealer, seeing this lineup. I can see that this is a balance adventurer party, with the good a good line up. But why is he alarmed if he's got a bravery skill?

Now let's look at this one, Woah! She is quite the cutie. Wait did she become embarrassed? That face is too cute to ignore.

“You are becoming a creepy old man sir. Looking at a young girl like that.”

“Wait! Was that too obvious!?”

The boy named Karl then moved in front of the cutie blood girl. I don't know what was going on but I saw the sincerity in the boy named Karl, in protecting this girl. But I already got the data I needed from the girl.

Her stats are crap, what the heck! How did this party even get on this floor? If they have a member that has this crappy status. They would definitely be dead if they take one step out of the barrier.

“Hey Xyra, are you sure that your sensors aren't defective?”

“No sir, my sensors have never been wrong, and have never been broken.”

“Then why are these guys so weak and managed to reach this floor.”

David who was on high alert looked at Golem in front of them with threatening eyes. David knew that his hands were starting to itch, and wanted to hit the Golem or Philip.

David slowly moved his feet after observing the giant armor not paying attention to him. Bella who saw him threw a pebble at David which she grabbed from the ground. David got hit by the pebble and looked at Bella with an angry expression.

“Don't do it, ” whispered Bella with her mouth.

But as Bella told David those, he then replied with a mischievous and cocky smile. Bella gave David an intimidating stare while uttering these words quietly, “Don't you dare…”

David then replied with a snob even after seeing Bella's stare. He then moved his feet and was preparing to strike.

“So your sensors aren't broken, then how did these weaklings get here.”

“I do not know sir, but I am sure there is some logical explanation behind it.”

I got tired of arguing with Xyra, so I put my attention back to the teenagers in front of me. I saw most of them are still frightened by me. So I thought of something to ease their fear.

I then looked at them and spoke, “ Hello, wait! I can speak this feels strange,” as I was used to speaking telepathically with Xyra. I was feeling that I had mouth even though I don't have one, but I heard my voice came out from a speaker near my helmet.

But I heard was not pleasant, my voice almost sounds like a demonic robot, it was rough and deep, with a hint of being a robot.

The teenagers looked at me with fear and confusion. But I noticed that one of them was missing, I then felt something hit the left side of my body. I did not feel pain from it, but I saw my HP go down a little. The sound of metal clanging after hitting something also vibrated in the air, creating an unpleasant sound.

I then look to my left to see what hit me, and there I saw the young man named David with his sword preparing for another big swing.

“Heavy Swing!” yelled David, as his sword comes at me. His sword made dust raise up which is caused by its huge size and David's powerful swing.

David swung his two-handed sword with incredible speed and precision, but too bad for him. I was faster, stronger, and more durable than him. Even with a powerful swing using his skill.

I easily blocked David's swing with my left hand. Which made David dumbfounded, “I-IMPOSSIBLE!” yelled David who was struggling to get his sword back. As David was struggling to pull his sword, I then turned my head to the left and gaze towards the struggling pitiful David.

Our eyes meet and there I saw David gave me a look of both fear and hatred. To me, he looked pitiful as he struggles to pull his sword from me. But what he just did to me was plain rude, attacking me out of nowhere.

So I think this David guy deserves a punishment so I spoke to him.

“How ill-mannered of you, for suddenly attacking me out of nowhere. I think a brat like you should learn some LESSON! ”

I then raised my left hand which was holding David's broadsword. Which caused David to be lifted with his sword. I was gonna throw David along with his sword, but I was pulling back my left arm to prepare for a throw.

I suddenly heard someone shouted, “Bash!”, I then felt a blow to my head and the unpleasant sound of *CHIIINK* which was caused by a metal hitting another metal echoed the area. I then turned around to see who was the foolish one that attacked me.

When I turned my head back to face the group, I then saw Karl was near me and I immediately knew that he was the one that attacked me. I let out an internal sigh of disappointment and spoke to Karl.

“How weak!” I spoke with my still demonic overlord voice. Which now I think made to look like a bad guy now. Ohhh! The Irony, why do I have to suffer a voice like this and cause a lot of misunderstandings.

I think I wanna cry, that God must hate me for giving me this scary voice. Damn it, this has to be a joke right!? As I was feeling pity for myself, I suddenly heard a familiar old man voice. Time also stopped again, which I saw last time when I was fighting the 35th-floor boss.

“I gave that voice to you, for the entertainment and for the LOLS that it will give me. ”

“Wait you gave me this voice for your entertainment?”

“Yes for my entertainment.”

“What the heck! Why are you such an as.…”

I was suddenly unable to speak, it felt unpleasant it was also the first time I felt pain.

“Now, now my child, do not speak such language especially talking to the holy one. But let me explain myself before you get even angrier.”

“Well my child, I admit I did it for my own entertainment as well as a challenge for you. As a God, I must give a challenge to my followers to see if they truly have faith in me. So that's why I have given you that voice to see if you truly have faith in me, while you seek the mission I have given you.”

“So pray for me, my child and I will show compassion to help you overcome these challenges. But this time I will not help you, so PEACE YOW!”

“Wait!?” I'm able to speak again, the time also returned to its flow after the voice disappeared.

But as I returned my attention to the group in front of me, I noticed that one of them is missing. The purple-haired girl was nowhere to be seen, but I suddenly felt something hit me in my nape.

This seemed to be the strongest attack I have received, but it was not as powerful as the mummy I faced. But my 33000 HP got down to 32700, Xyra then spoke out of nowhere, “You have received a 300 critical damage.”

I then turned around to see who was the one who gave critical damage. I then saw the purple-haired girl with her Kukri knife out in her hands. I then analyzed the girl's stats using Xyra.

I was then taken aback by what I saw, the purple-haired girl named Lucy was the strongest one of the group. Her level cap was near me, she was a level 18 assassin, but even with that, her stats are still far too weak to go head to head to me.

I looked at her with fascination I do commend her for being so brave. But her bravery will also be the reason why she will feel pain! I shouted in my mind as I threw David causing him to fly a few feet away from me and his friends. David landed in a wall where he hit his back causing him to throw up some saliva upon impact.

I think I kinda overdid throwing him that far. I then heard the cries of worry of his friends. All four screamed “David!”

“How could you do such a thing!?” Asked the priestess girl named Marcia.

I looked at Marcia and replied, “Becau...”

As I was gonna speak Karl cutter me off and spoke, “Do not ask him, Marcia. Monsters have no humanity all they do is kill and destroy. So we must destroy this monstrosity before it will harm others.”

“I am offended by what you have said, dear Karl. ”

Karl suddenly had a surprised look on his face after hearing me call his name. He then reacted by pointing his sword at me again.

“How'd you know my name, you evil fiend!?”

“Why are you calling me evil?, even though I haven't done anything evil.”

“So are you saying that throwing my friend is not evil!?!”

“That was retaliation and punishment for his disrespectful action. If he just stayed put and never raised his sword against me this wouldn't happen.”

Karl suddenly became quiet after hearing my words. But as the area became quiet a scream suddenly erupted, “David look out!”

I then turned to David who I threw a few meters away from the safe zone. When I got a glimpse of David I saw a goblin jumping towards him, pointing its knife at David. My new passive skill called ‘Quick Draw’ was activated.

It allowed me to draw my pistol 3x faster than normal. *Bang!* the goblin's head disappeared after tasting my .50 Cal Pistol, the goblin's blood was then splattered across David's face, who was still stunned by the events that had just transpired. Thanks to my new skill I was able to save David who was near death's door because of the goblin.

As I killed the goblin who tried to kill David, another horde of goblins that exceeds the number I killed just minutes ago showed up from the hallway. I then immediately looked at the purple-haired girl and spoke.

“Go back to that safe zone, NOW!”

Lucy became confused at me when I told her those words. Even with her confusion she still followed my order and returned to the safe zone. After seeing her return to the safe zone, I immediately got my AUG rifle.

I then aimed my rifle at the goblins near David and fired. The horde of goblins that were surrounding him was immediately filled with holes as they met their demise through my 40 cal futuristic assault rifle.

David then looked at me and the goblins but I clearly saw it in his face that he feared me more. After decreasing the number of goblins who were near David, I immediately dashed towards him.

The sound of my heavy suit also vibrated the air as I dashed. About three seconds I reached David who was bathing in the pool of blood that came from the goblins I killed. I then pulled the boy through the collar of his armor and dragged him back to the safe zone.

I then threw him to the safe zone where his friend was looking at him worriedly. After seeing David getting healed by Lucy, I then pulled one of the frag grenades I have in my utility belt towards the goblins who were chasing after me.

*BOOM!*

Smoke and dust flew above the air after the explosion. I then entered the safe zone where the teen adventurers took a step back as they still looked at me with both fear and amazement. One of the girls of the group with a short green hair step forward and asked.

“Just who the hell are you?”

I replied with my still Demonic overlord voice, “DESTROYER”
