EPISODE 13- OBLIGATORY MISSION

Upon arriving at the guild, I saw that the tables where most of the time were occupied were now empty. This was such a strange phenomenon as most of the adventurers here are drunkards, who can start drinking early in the morning. But today was definitely a strange one as not a single soul was drinking on the tables.

Even the tables were quiet, I still heard noises. These noises came from the quest area where missions are being put up. I then walked towards there to know what was going on. I then saw that almost everyone on the guild were checking a poster.

The poster almost occupied the entire quest board with its size. As I reach behind the crowd of adventurers trying to read the quest, I noticed that some of them were shoving into each other.

Most of the people who pushed themselves to other people were two dwarves.

It might be due to their short height that they can't see anything. So they are probably trying to get through the front of the crowd to read it.

As for me, I was able to see it fine as I was the tallest guy among the crowd. Even with this crowd, I would definitely stand out for my weird armor that doesn't fit this world's fantasy setting rather I would be fit in a sci-fi setting or a dystopian setting.

I then read the poster which had words written in bold letters.

“OBLIGATORY QUEST/MISSION!”

[ Mission: A calamity is befalling upon our kingdom as a monster known as the Megasaurus has been awakened early for some unknown reasons. Due to this sudden awakening of this beast, the kingdom's military has become unprepared. So it has been tasked to us by the kingdom and adventurers guild itself, to make this calamity class beast to be put back to its slumber. We will be joined by other guilds from other towns in this mission.

High rewards will be given to adventurers who have participated primarily in the main objective. The materials you gather and other side quest for this main mission will be separated from the main reward. So you can still have any income even without participating in the main mission by acting as a support group.

There are no class gaps for this obligatory mission. All adventurers from F-S are allowed to participate in this mission.

The mission will start in three days in the Pseudo Plains.]

“A calamity which means it's threat level class is somewhere between B+ to A class threats.”

“Correct Mr. Destroyer, it somewhere between those two classes.” Spoke Bella who was wearing her usual green sleeveless archer corset, shorts, a pair of uneven leather gloves, knee-high boots, and knifes to her waist.

“Oh, so you were already here, where are the others.”

“There they are Mr. Destroyer, ” Bella then points her index finger to a table where the other members of the Camilla party gathered, all of them were present.

The familiar-looking black breastplate of David and his new broadsword that I obtained and gave to Bella was the first thing I notice, he must have gotten it from her after we left the dungeon. Of course, the two other members which seemed to be emissaries of the church Karl and Marcia was also there. There is also the expressionless Lucy with her all-black outfit.

Bella and I went straight to the table of the group. Upon arriving, Bella immediately grabbed a stool and sat down with her party members. Bella offered me a seat this time again, but I refused and told her that I would prefer to seat on the floor.

After taking my seat on the cold hard stone floor, the group then started talking about the obligatory mission.

“Hey Bella, do you think we can survive in this mission?” asked David who was cleaning his sword.

“I think we will stay on the sidelines and just do the normal support role. I can see that we E to F class adventurers might be used as cannon fodder. But the F-E class healers would be used as primary backline support so they wouldn't be joining the battlefield. So I'm kinda jealous of Marcia not being used as cannon fodder.”

“So we're gonna be used by the other higher class adventurers as that!?” asked Karl to Bella while he read a book.

“I think the guild will not tolerate such actions, but the guild can't monitor all of the adventurers in the field. So some of the adventurers will actually take advantage of the weaker ones that are sent to the field. Damn, I wish I could be in your boots Marcia, as you don't have to worry about being used as cannon fodder.”

“I'm actually sad that I wouldn't be able to join you in battle. I actually want to join you my friends on the battlefield.”

David suddenly patted Marcia's left shoulder and spoke, “Then why don't you do your best to save others' lives for us. Make sure you save more than a hundred people or we will hate you.”

“Yeah, why don't you do that for us, Marcia.”

Karl who was seated next to Marcia immediately turned to her direction. He then held her hands and looked directly at Marcia's eyes. Karl's face then started to become a bright-colored red, his head then started to smoke.

“M-m-Marcia!”

“Y-yes!”

These two are too dense and are starting to become lovey-dovey, I wish they die. This is too cringy for me to even watch.

“Marcia I have been waiting to say this for a long time now. I have hidden this and looked for the perfect opportunity to tell you this.”

“What is it, Karl?” asked Marcia as her face started to become flustered and nervous.

“I-I-I like you Marcia!”

Death flag confirm! It is common knowledge that you don't ever tell the girl you like your true feelings before a major battle, because it has been seen in many movies that you will die a painful death. But I'm not gonna save his ass, all the virgins in the world help me to not let this man get a girlfriend.

Marcia's face suddenly turned completely red after hearing Karl's confession. Marcia was even unable to utter a single word.

Bella then got out of her chair and went to Karl and put her arm over his shoulder and spoke.

“I didn't know that you had the courage to tell your feelings towards her Karl.”

“Well, this is one of the most intense battles that I will ever face. So I would rather tell Marcia my feelings rather than not telling her, as I might die. ”

Good thing you know what you did was a death flag. So I would feel definitely relieved in not helping you.

“WHAT ARE YOU SAYING KARL!”

“M-Mar?”

Marcia slapped Karl in his left cheek, which stunned everyone in the table. But for me I only had to say these words, “That sounded kinda painful.”

“DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT YOU WILL DIE! HOW COULD YOU BE SO CRUEL AND INSENSITIVE! I WAS KINDA HAPPY WHEN YOU SAID THAT YOU LIKE ME! BUT HEARING YOU SAY THAT YOU MIGHT DIE WAS VERY…JUST PROMISE ME THAT YOU WILL COME BACK ALIVE.”

“Marcia, then I will promise you that in both God, knighthood, and my name. I will promise that I will return safely to you when this mission ends, I promise we will get married. Then we will adventure the world together as a happily wed couple.”

Ok, clearly these kids don't know how marriage works. They will be worrying in the future about taxes, childcare, and child support taxes. They even don't know how much the mortgage rates of houses in this town.

“A-are you s-saying that were getting married after this mission?”

“Uhh! I'm so jealous of you Karl finally you found someone to tie the knot. ”

After David spoke those words to Karl, he then looked at me and asked, “

Aren't you jealous Mr. p*****t Scum!?”

“Wait what!?”

“Hey Marcia, how lucky you are to finally caught a man to be yours forever after this mission. *Sigh* I wish my man would also propose to me soon.”

“Sorry Bella, but most men wouldn't want to marry a Gorilla woman like you! Hahaha!”

Ka-Pow! David who was hit again by the iron-fisted Bella had his mouth bubbling while he was unconscious. Also a lump in his head appeared with a fountain of blood squirting out.

“Now that's out of the way, how about you Mr. Destroyer are you planning to get married?”

After Bella asked me that question Lucy who was quiet all this time suddenly change. She then gave me an attentive stare, but she also gave Bella a stare which Bella also noticed.

I don't know what was happening, but suddenly the two girls' bodies were engulfed by an aura. I then noticed that the auras energy was pointed to each other as well as to me. Bella suddenly moved towards me in a seductive manner as she let me see a glimpse of her cleavage, as she slowly walks towards my direction. I then saw Lucy crawled across the table in a seductive manner as she went towards my direction.

I don't know what was going on, but my soul is overflowed with joy. But my body can't feel any of it goddamn it! Why body!? Why!? I then saw Bella who was already close to me hugged my right arm as she pressed her firm breast towards me.

I have finally experienced it! A cleavage of a woman being pressed against me was finally happening to a virgin like me.

But goddammit! I can't feel it! How can this body so be awesomely cruel to a virgin like me?

As I was enjoying and crying internally as Bella was trying to seduce me, I then heard a clank which came from my left arm. I didn't notice that someone was actually near me as I was too focus looking at the two hills pressing towards me, I looked at my left arm to know who was the one who made that sound. To my surprise, it was Lucy and the sound was created by her flat breastplate.

After that loud clanking noise, Lucy moved backward and held her chest and seemed to inspect it. Lucy then stared at Bella's chest and looked again at her own chest. She seemed to be comparing her chest to Bella's.

Bella then showed a smug look after Lucy realize that she lost in the sexiness category. Lucy still has her expressionless look on her face, but you can tell that she was quite mad and jealous. Lucy then jumped forward and hanged her arms around my neck. She then asked me, “You Mr. Destroyer, are you planning on marrying someone?”

“Hey Lucy I asked him that question first!”

I kinda feel happy that two girls are fighting over me. My virgin self would definitely happy with this situation, but I can't feel anything right now, how sad is it to be a robot when your virgin dreams came true.

“Hey, Mr. Destroyer are you planning to get married, if you are planning then I…?”

“No, I have more important things to do than marriage.

“Well, that's disappointing when I thought I could finally have a secure future.”

As the two girls were laughing and pressing their breasts towards me, I didn't notice that the other male adventurers were super jealous of me. While the female adventurers looked disgusted at me and said, “That I used some kind of perverted love potion to make Lucy and Bella fall for me.”

Meanwhile, the male adventurers looked at me with jealousy and anger. I then heard some of the male adventurers that I was an old man who is a pedo in making the two girls fall in love with me, but the worst part of it were the ones who spoke of those things about me were dwarves.

One of them, according to Xyra was 148 years old and the other was 142 years old. But what was shocking was both of them were in love with the two girls clinging to me. So they are calling me a pedo even they were the pedos all along.

Dwarves POV…

“Hey Salem, that guy's making me jealous after making a move on my future wife Bella. ”

“Do you think you are the only one jealous, look at what she did to my sweetie pie Lucy! I'm gonna kill him.”

“Salem you are still a pedo like that guy, maybe you should stop it with flat-chested girls or you might get arrested. ”

“Who are you calling a pedo, both Lucy and Bella are in the same age. So you are also a pedo if you consider me a pedo cause we both like 16 year old girls!”

“At least Bella has a nice adult sexy body than your childlike Lucy.”

The two dwarves then started growling at each other like two mad dogs. But as they were about to duke it out, a familiar voice suddenly yelled out which resounded in the entire guild.

“ADVENTURERS! WE HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!”

All of the adventurers present in the guild immediately looked at the source of the voice, which was Ann Marie.

After seeing that she caught the attention of the people in the guild, Ann Marie then continued to speak in a loud manner so everyone can hear it.

“This is regarding the obligatory mission, so please pay attention as it is urgent and important. Fellow adventurers, we have been informed by our scouts that the beast has started to move at an alarming speed towards our town. So instead of three days before we will depart from town, we will leave tomorrow as early as sunrise.

The kingdom has provided tricerwyrm carriages as transportation for us. All of us will gather and meet in the town square, and please make sure you come there prepared.”

Tricerwyrm is a triceratops dinosaur with a dragon-like features. It is able to pull heavy loads of cargo estimated to fifty tonnes without reducing their maximum speed. This is the details that Xyra spoke to me after hearing Ann Marie spoke of Tricerwyrms.

“Mr. Destroyer could you take care of my teammates during this mission?” Asked Marcia to me.

“I will see what I can do.”

But I don't know if your future husband can survive cause he said two things that lead to death flags.
