"Thank you for coming with me."
Calla scoffs as she heard her mother thank to her like it was the first time she heard someone from the House thanked her.
"Wow, you thanked," she jokes and that made her mother's smile on face fell.
But the hell she cares. Calla, she was always been the villian of every story and with that, she think that there's no sense of changing her character to any people she just met and ran into and even the people she grew up with. Because they raised her this way, they'll embrace it.
"Calla!" It was her father that just called her for sounding maybe, rude?
"What? Not because you guys were able to see me sitting in this chair and with you doesn't mean I am already in the same page with you all. I just think that maybe, it would really be nice if I get to meet that woman," she said and gave a smile to her parents who doesn't seem happy of what she just said that just made her widen her freaking smile.
From her peripheral view, she can tell that Mikael was seriously staring at her and so she caught him in that act. Mikael cleared his throat and smiled at her.
"She was raised by a loving family, your highness. Unfortunately, they died when she was 15 and she then became an orphan since then," said Mikael and once again, her mother's heart went broken.
"I will tell that myself, Mikael," she said and smiled to Mikael. The lawyer gave her back the smile before she put her sight back into her tablet as she was designing to keep her busy.
"We are too late to find out that your sister is alive," said her father but she didn't mother to look up and meet her father's gaze despite of the fact that she know her dad was looking at her.
"She still won't be the Queen," she said with her eyes locked at her tablet.
Their flight into the Philippines was a secret. They made sure that the people in Spain won't find out that they're gone that even the other family members doesn't know that they went out the country.
She won't take long to stay in Philippines for she doesn't know anyone in there and she doesn't have any plan of getting to know with that newly found Vasquez. Her life is in the Spain, her girl friends are there. She is not dumb to never know that the other people from outside Spain called her brat and names.
She doesn't want to b***h with other people. She would just end up killing them.
"Why are you thinking that?" Her mother retaliates with that high tone. "Calla, we haven't even see her and now you are already thinking about the title?"
"No, Mama, I am just telling the truth. In case you'll think that in your mind and you want her to be the Queen. I am just reminding you all that no one could have the title rather than me," she said smiling.
People never said no to her even before. She always had the authority within her and thanks to her parents beautiful genes that gave her the privilege of everything. People are obsessed with good lookings and they will do everything she said.
Well, her family is the exception for they always want to bring her down and until now, they are still trying.
"Give your sister a chance, Calla. I know this won't be easy for you----"
"Everything was never easy to me, Papa. My life was never easy and I am so happy for you guys have the widest arms to welcome her in your lives," she said savagely.
"Stop it, Calla."
She looked at her mother and smile again, "Mama, don't worry, because I already have my life secured and even if you guys abandoned be — no, that will never happen that is why the clan was always been so hot unto me because they can'; t stand with me. They can't make me do what you all want me to do."
"This is Pilot…………. Please ready for landing."
Calla didn't move as she heard the pilot said that and she only captured the landing part. Like she always does for she always asleep during flights, just happened that she's sitting near her mother and he father whom she can't trust her life with.
"Where is she now, Mikael?" Her mom asked Mikael and she was so excited, her voice can tell how much excited she was.
"She's in a hotel, ma'am," he replied.
"Is she safe in there?" Her father asked.
They're all that excited, huh.
"Yes, sir," Mikael smiled and nodded. "Actually, she's in a hotel where you will be staying, your majesty."
"That's great! Thank you for doing all of these, Mikael. You are not just a trusty lawyer but you are also a family to us," her mom said that made Calla scoffs.
"I got a 3 rooms unit so you all can stay together in one unit," said Mikael.
"Don't bother, I am not staying with you all," said Calla.
"Where are you staying?" It was her mom who again sounded like she was so ready to taka a fight with her.
"I can find a place myself, mama. You should stay with your daughter without me so you guys will have the best time I earth. Because I swear, having me around means your life is in a living hell," she said coolly but her parents doesn't seem find it cool and she just shrugged.
"Calla! Show respect to your mother!" Her father raised a tone.
"Make me, Papa." She challenged her King of a father.
She was never afraid to any of the Vasquez family because neither of those people can stand and can live without her. She wasn't even afraid to her father for among them all, her father was the least who give words. Her mother, the one who never treated her like a daughter even before, was always the controlling and because she refused to be controlled, now, everyone hates her.
That even her mother would never care if she died on the street if she only doesn't have the crown. Plus, among them all, she got the highest net worth and that is why every Vasquez wants her gone.
Like they can.
"We have landed."
Calla immediately stood up without glancing her parents.
She took her phone out and her eyes widened when she saw her girl friends messages.
"What the f*ck!" She said with a smile like a saucer on her face.
As she went out from the plane, she immediately can feel the hotness on her skin. It was her 1St time stepping in here but she expected it for she studied the culture and things about her mother's country.
Her mom was even surprised when she revealed to them that she learned Tagalog. Although, she doesn't have the time to learn and master all of the culture and beliefs, she just knew some. But at least, she still embraced her Filipino blood.
She put her sun glasses on to protect her eyes as she walked the heat under the sun. A limousine was there waiting for them and it's just one. It's fine with her, she'll just call her girls where to pick her up.
"Those b*ches, didn't tell me they just arrived even before me," she uttered herself.
"We are going straight to the hotel, your highness for we have to make sure that the media and paparazzi won't get to spot us here," said Mikael when she stood up right beside the car.
She didn't answer and a man opened the door for her and she helped herself get inside the car.
"What is her name?" She asked Mikael when she sat her ass down.
"Camella Vasquez, of course!" It was her mom who answered.
Calla looked at Mikael for she was waiting for an answer.
"Vi-ann, she grew up being a Vi-ann Leonel."
