I was woken up by the sounds of my door being banged. I flew from the bed to see my maid walking closer, she bowed while I felt like hitting her. “Learn to take it easy with the door….you just disrupted my sleep,” I warned her and she nodded.
“I came with fantastic news,” my brows arched on hearing that. “Maliya is unconscious now, and the physician said that there's no probability of her surviving,” she announced. I threw the blanket away from my body, climbing down from the bed.
“Did you witness it yourself?'' I asked her, coming closer. She nodded. “Yes, Your Highness. She's truly unconscious. Looking at her, she doesn't seem to be responding to treatments.” she added.
