Maliya’s POV
After Xander left, I felt cold within me. Reminiscing on the questions he asked, I couldn't bring up a tangible reason he asked them, and I mentioned his parents as the ones responsible for my parent's death. I had expected him to get enraged, but he only stared at me with a slight smile on.
“He knows about it, I wonder if that's what he's investigating.” I stood up and began pacing around. He asked how long I've been sick and if I was an Omega from childhood, does it have anything to do with the death of my parents? Or, are my parents not Omegas? “He must be looking for a solution to cure my heart disease, but I might leave this place before he succeeds in whatever he's doing. I can't be in his shadow again after all that I've passed through here.”
