Xander’s POV
When I was told of Maliya’s situation, I felt so doomed. I just hope nothing happens to her or my parents won't believe the action I will take on them. I believe so well that she wasn't poisoned through ingestion or I wouldn't be fine, recalling that the guards were all unconscious when I left the cell was a sign that something was off.
The physician already said that she had inhaled something so poisonous, and my priority is to find whatever it is that she inhaled.
“Any feedback?'' I asked Gideon, who barged into my room. He had left with the physician back to the cell to get the result of what happened. He bowed to me and came closer in a whisper. “It's two poisonous gasses with different features,” he whispered.
