Kingston

1106 Words
I woke up to the sound of a door opening and closing and guessed it would be my elder brother. His name is Kingston. A brown haired bunny with a perfect masculine body outline and sexy brown eyes that are in unison with his hair color. I really am not good at describing but he sure is a good looking young man. But you know one thing about siblings, maybe not all though but my brother and I, we never ever appreciate each other. Even if we do, we would be back to calling each other names which in a way, I preferred than been called baby sis, little pumpkin and any other adorable name available. And being the last born I can be very good at attacking first, causing trouble and blaming my elder brother "Hey donkey. You're back early. What happened? Did you cause any trouble?" "I didn't. I was just really tired and decided to come back early" he said with a yawn "Oh I see. So you decide to stay back late when you are done with the coffee shop, so you can have a moment or two with the ladies huh?" "Ah Eve, it's not........" "Blah blah. I really wonder who would fall for a donkey like you that I have as a brother" I said with a scoff "Ok let's agree that I'm a donkey. What do you think the sister of the donkey would be called?" "Spare me the sorry story, sweet brother, or let me say sweet donkey. You are a donkey on my farm and you can just say that I am the amazing lady or farmer that takes care of her only donkey" I said with a smile "You're a fish" Kingston said and started chasing me around the house. "Geez Kingston, you're fast for a donkey" I said while running because Kingston does not run. I can say he teleports "And I was also right when I called you a fish. Fishes can't move on land and you are one slow poke!" he said the last part with energy as he swung himself towards me and we both landed on the couch. Did I forget to add that the house was in a proper disarray as we were running? Well in case I didn't, the house was an eyesore because I kept throwing everything I could lift at him. Including mom's urn! The only thing that reminds her of her mom that died during her birth. Oh s**t! Now I'm in for some trouble "That looks like mom's urn or was there another one like it in the house before?" Kingston asked as he picked up a broken piece of the well designed pottery. Our eyes went to the table where she had placed it and it was empty. Now we are looking at each other. "Don't you think you are lucky that mom and dad are on a business trip?" King asked and placed a hand on my shoulder "But you don't seem to know that they will come back, even if they don't come back at the moment" "So what should we do because she will definitely notice that her precious urn is gone" "Let's go get a new one. There is a block of shops not so far from here and I remember seeing one that sells anything ceramic" I said looking up at him "First of all, I heard something related to we. Well you did the destruction yourself so you go get it yourself. At least you won't partake in the cleaning up that I have agreed to do" he said and turned his back to me, folding his hands on his chest. I knew he wanted me to beg real hard but in his mind he is willing to come with me "Common King, please. Fine I promise I won't tease you anymore" "And the donkey?" he asked facing me with an eyebrow up "Forgotten" "Good. So...." "For now though" I said and ran upstairs to escape his attack I just jumped into a pair of ash joggers and black T-shirt, packed my hair in a pony tail and ran downstairs to meet King who was waiting for me. He had a pair of blue jeans below a black T-shirt and brown leather jacket, holding my sneakers in hands "I know you can run out without them and I won't blame you by the way. I've never known fishes to wear shoes" he said and threw them at me "Fine, you take the lead this time, you brown furry donkey" I said while lacing the shoes on my feet "Hurry up, its getting dark" he said and turned his bike on. "I know its getting dark and don't you think that the night is the best part of the day? It's not my fault that I enjoy night movement and being a nocturnal" I said and he snatched my keys from my hands, sped off, dropped the keys a few meters ahead of me and screamed "race ya" Now this boy knows that I would never allow him win a race and he thinks he had the upper hand. Well he had upper hand and I knew a short cut that he doesn't know of. After all, its what someone knows more than you that gives such a person the upper hand. I picked my keys and started off, smiling at myself and enjoying the cool breeze and the thought of how surprised my brother would look when he got to the shop and meets me there. I got there in about eleven minutes and waited for King at the front of the shop. He arrived in another four minutes and got down from his bike. I'm sure he was saying to himself that he had lost me in the traffic but when he saw me leaning against my bike and cleaning my nails, he literally jumped out of his skin. "Geez Eve, how did you" he asked mid way and looked behind him, trying to remember if I had sped past him without him knowing. "Ahemmmm. And our race champion for this season is Master Howard Kingston. I am also sad to inform you that the loser is Miss Howard Eve as always" I said with every bit of sarcasm and mockery I could tint my voices with. "Gosh. I am so going to deflate your tires when we get home" he said with a playful stern look on his face "Oh dear, I'm scared" I replied feigning fear and he pulled my pony tail making me scream.
