Chapter 8Reed hadn’t liked the look on Jim’s face while he spoke to the asshole on the telephone. Dr. Harris said it was natural to feel antagonistic toward a rival, even a rival for someone you no longer cared about. But, that was just the trouble, he did care about Jim. He just couldn’t get anyone to believe him. They all believed he would go back to Jack as soon as he cooled off and Jack crooked a finger. They didn’t understand. Jack and Reed were done.
