Chapter Three - Ice Cream

Nics POV

I sat on the couch waiting for my dad and this weird realtor to show up. Why did he want to show me around? Couldn't he have just given dad the address or general directions jeeze. "Great job early Nic" our Vice President Vick said. "Thanks old man" I said with a joking smile. He playfully glared before my dad walked in. "Hey boss your uh..." Vick started to say before he noticed the realtor walking in behind him. "Next meeting is waiting for you" He finished with a smile. Dad nodded his head and Vick turned around and walked away.

"Nic let me introduce you to Emmitt Donahue" He said pointing to the man behind him. I sat a little straighter in my seat at the sight of him. I had noticed out of the corner of my eye that he had been staring at me since the moment he walked through the door. This main took my breath away with how gorgeous he was. He had brown hair that was slicked back and showed off his perfect dark blue eyes. He had full, pouty lips that I would die to kiss right now. I could tell there was a powerful aura coming off of him which meant whatever he was he was high in rank. I also got a sense of fairy from him as well, maybe that's what it was a high born fairy. My eyes trailed down his long body as I took in his muscles. He had to be at least six foot meaning he was only half a foot taller than me. I noticed his biceps where hugged tightly in his shirt and bit my lip.

I could just imagine him holding me tight and wrapping me legs around his waist. I clenched my tights together slightly and I heard a slight noise. It broke me from my lust filled haze enough to look back into Emmitts eyes. However now they weren't dark blue, they were lovely pools of black as his nostrils flared slightly. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again to show they were blue. I stood up and walked over to him never taking my eyes off his. "Pleasure to meet you" I said extending my hand to him. He took it in one of his and I gasped at the sparks shooting through my entire body.

I knew he could feel it to by the look on his face. He brought my hand to his lips and pressed a kiss to my knuckles. God I wanted to moan so badly, his lips were so soft. "Pleasures all mine" He said. Finally his voice, it was deep and soothing. I continued to look up at him almost forgetting why he was here in the first place other than to make my heart stop beating. My dad cleared his throat which brought both of us back to reality. "Well then I'm going to my meeting" Dad said awkwardly and backed away slowly.

Before he turned around he smirked at me and looked to Emmitt. "If you tap it, just make sure to wrap it" He said and laughed as my face turned bright red. Emmits eyes widened and that made dad laugh even harder. "Sorry about him" I said. "It's okay I'm sure my dad would have said the same thing." He responded. I smiled at that, at least now I wouldn't have to be too embarrassed. "Shall we?" Emmitt asked motioning to the door. "Absolutely" I said.

We slowly walked to the ice cream shop and got to know each other a little better. We talked about everything from favorite colors to favorite movies and books. We reached the ice cream shop and low and behold we both had the same favorite flavor ice cream, mint chocolate chip. We sat down in a comfortable silence as we ate our ice cream. Once we were all done we started our way back to the club house. "So do you think I can get your phone number?" Emmitt asked. I smirked and nodded my head "Sure" I said. He pulled out his phone and entered it in. I did the same just as we reached the front door.

"So I know you're a fairy but what else are you?" I asked him. Emmitt faltered slightly as he looked over to me. "You know what I am?" He asked me. "Yeah I'm a fairy too" I told him. His jaw dropped slightly as he really took in my appearance now. "Yeah I can sense it now" He said with a smile. "So I can feel your power coming off of you. Are you a noble of some sort?" I asked him. "Well my mom was the fairy queen and my father is the Alpha of the Red Rock Pack" He said. As the words left hip amazing lips my heart stopped but for a different reason entirely this time. I smiled though making sure not to show my fear. "Wow so you're royalty" I said.

"Kind of but she disbanded the kingdom as I'm sure you know" He said. I nodded my head slowly as I now processed how much danger I was in. "Speaking of which, if you're a fairy how did you end up here?" He asked me looking and motioning to the club house. f**k I had really hoped he would have asked that. "Well my mother had chosen not to go to the pack and she died when I was five. So Rodney adopted me" I told him. It was about ninety five percent the truth, I just left out quiet a few details. "Can I kiss you?" Emmitt asked bringing me out of my thoughts. I raised an eyebrow at him in question. "Sorry it's just I turned eighteen today which means I'm able to find my mate" He said looking at me with so much love in his eyes.

"Wait I'm your mate?" I asked him. My voice hitched a little and I don't know if he noticed it or not, if he had he didn't show it. "Yes you are my mate and that would make you the Luna of my pack" He said pulling me close, damn those sparks. "Wow that's a lot of take in right now" I told him. His face dropped a little and my heart hurt. "Sorry I'm just processing everything you told me is all" I said and his face let up a little bit. "So about that kiss" He asked causing me to smile. I nodded my head and before I could even close my eyes his lips were on mine.

Damn it why does he have to have such amazing lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. His tongue slide over my bottom lip and I gladly opened my mouth. Our tongue glided across each others and Jesus did he taste amazing. He had a very earthy scent to him like pine and lavander but he tasted like the sweetest honey I had ever tasted. I moaned into his mouth and that cause him to rock his hip against me and I could feel his excitement.

I gasped and broke the kiss and he looked confused. "Sorry I think it's best we stop there before we get too carried away" I said. "Right good thinking" Emmitt said. "And uh sorry about" He said before glancing down to his hard on. "My wolf Eddie is just very excited that we found you" Emmitt explained. I giggled stepped out of his embrace already missing his warmth. "It's okay. I should let you know that I'm a virgin" I told him. If his eyes could get any dark than black I think they would have as soon as I mentioned that. "You are so perfect" He muttered to himself although I had heard it. If only you knew I thought to myself.

"I should get going though. My Alpha ceremony is tonight" Emmitt said before his eyebrows shot up and his smile widened. "You should totally come tonight. You can meet my pack and friends" Emmitt rattled off. Would this man give my heart a rest I don't know many more times it can stop before I just croak. "I can't my dad has an important meeting tonight I need to be apart of" I said. Emmitt looked dejected at the fact I wouldn't go with him. "But hey" I said causing him to look up . "Happy birthday Emmitt" I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek which returned his brilliant smile. "Thanks I'll call you tomorrow" He said. "Tomorrow" I said as he walked away and drove off. I entered the door and finally let the facade drop. "I'm totally f****d" I said before sliding down to the floor.
