Chapter Four - Alpha Ceremony

Emmitts POV

I still can't believe how lucky I got today. I meet my mate and she's a supernatural so I didn't have to worry about the awkward human dating. She was absolutely stunning also. She had white blonde hair that reached her shoulders and honey brown eyes. Nic was somewhere over five feet tall which was perfect. She had the most exquisite body and curves I had ever seen. Her breast were quite large but it balanced out her ass as well.

I could feel Eddie trying to take over as I imagine what it would be like the first time I sucked on one of her n*****s. I drove as quickly as I could back home so happy to share the news. I pulled into the driveway to see my mom giving out orders to some omegas to set things up for tonight. "Emmitt finally" She said throwing her hands in the air. "Where have you been? Your father said the showing should have been done hours ago" She said glaring at me. "Sorry Mom but I have the best news" I told her. "Well" She asked.

"I sold my first building and I met my mate" I said. Her eyes widened just before she screamed. Dad and my uncles Carlton and Travis came running over. "What's the matter" Dad said looking around everyone for what could have my mom scream. "Sorry Dad nothing's wrong. I sold the bar to Rodney and it turns out his daughter is my mate" I said. Dad beamed with pride and pulled me into a hug. My Uncles followed suit and congratulated me. "Is she coming tonight?" My mom asked. I shook my head "No her dad has some important meeting I guess that she's a part of so she can't come" I explained.

My mother frowned and sighed. "Well I look forward to the day that we can meet her" She said. Mom looked over my shoulder and stormed past me. "No that doesn't go there" She said as she walked away. "So you ready for tonight?" Uncle Travis asked. "As ready as I'll ever be" I said. We made our way inside and hung out with the rest of our family until it was time to get dressed. I changed into a dress red shirt and black slacks.

I made my way down the stairs to see my mom and dad coming out of the hospital wing. "Everything okay?" I asked them. "Oh yes, I just had an appointment with the doctor." She said. I nodded my head remembering the times I followed her without her knowledge to her 'appointments' She would disappear into a room and would leave about an hour or so later. One day I tried to enter the door but got a nasty shock. How could she enter the room no problem but I couldn't. Whenever I would ask about it my mom would just say it's magic. "Now let get this started" Dad said pushing us out the door.

The moon was full and bright in the sky. I saw all the pack member staring up at me and I smiled at everyone. My parents, Olivia and Trenton were on the stage as well as an Elder. My parents stood on either side of him while Olivia stood to my moms right and Trenton to my dads left. The Elder stepped forward and silence fell over the pack. "Good evening Red Rock Pack" He said. "Good evening" We all replied. "Tonight we hand over the title of Alpha from father to son" The elder continued.

My dad came up and stood opposite just staring at me with such pride. The Elder walked up next accompanied by my mother. The Elder held a golden dagger with a detailed handle. My mother held a large golden chalice between my father and I. I took a deep breath and held out my right hand over the cup. Dad did the same and I could see tears building in his eyes.

The Elder took the dagger and cut across both of our hands. We joined hand as the blood dripped down into the cup. "Do you, Emmitt Desmond Donahue, sear to obey all laws set forth by the Elders?" He asked. "I swear" I responded. "Do you swear to uphold and obey all laws set for by the former Alphas of the Red Rock Pack?" He asked next. "I swear" I said. "Do you swear to lead this pack with fairness, kindness, and justly?" He asked. "I swear" I promised. "Lastly do you swear to protect this pack until your very last breath?" He asked. "I swear" I said loudly.

A strong breeze rolled around us before circling my dad and me. I could feel the Alpha power flowing from my dad to me. Once the breeze died down I felt so powerful, like I could pick up the pack house and throw it ten feet. I could also feel all the connections in my mind to the pack members as well. My dad and I let our hands drop and everyone dropped to one knee and tilted their heads to expose their necks. This was a sign of submission in our community, they were showing that they accepted me as Alpha. "Red Rock Pack rise and greet your new Alpha!" The elder's voice boomed. Everyone stood back up and howled I raised my arm in the air and everyone quieted down.

"I am honored and privileged to be your Alpha" I started. I noticed my voice was more strong and held a lot of weight to it. "Now let us undress for the pack run" I said. We all started to undress except for the child, the fairies, and Cordelia. The children typically rose on their parents backs while the fairies flew with their wings and Cordelia just ran with us. Luckily she still had her speed. I stood in the middle of the stage completely naked as everyone shifted into their wolf forms.

Remember just breath through the pain son Dad said in a link. I nodded my head and got down on my hands and knees. Alright Eddie, time to make your debut I said. I could feel him coming forth and the pain was excruciating. Just breath Emmitt we're almost done Eddie said. I took some deep breaths as my head while like it was going to explode from the bones moving and extending. Fur sprouted from my skin and my finger nails felt like they were pulled off by pliers as claws extended out.

Soon the pain subsided, we did it Eddie!  I said with excitement. Yeah we did He said just before letting out a powerful howl. The other wolves joined in and we all took off running. Olivia and Trenton both trailed behind me slightly while our parents and family were just behind them. Once the run was over we all came together to feast. I sat at the head table as pack members came up and congratulated me. "Alpha Emmitt I looked forward to working with you" a man said as he approached the table.

I could feel that he was an Alpha as well so I stood and extended my hand. "Thank you Alpha.." I trailed off since I didn't know his name. "Alpha Martin" He said shaking my hand. "May I present my daughter Rebecca" He said wrapping his arm around her shoulder. She was gorgeous, she had black hair with crystal blue eyes. "Nice to meet you" She said offering me her hand. I shook it with a smile "You as well" I said. "I look forward to working with you as well" I said before they left.

I pulled out my phone and sent a text message to Nic. "Hey how did your meeting go?" I asked. I wait a few moments before I got a reply. "Very productive" She said with a thumbs up emojii. "Good. I'm officially Alpha now" I told her. This time it took longer to get a response but eventually she texted back "Congratulations!" "Thanks. Wish you were here" I sent. "I know but I'm really tired so I'm going to go to bed. Good night Emmitt" She replied. "Good night" I sent and enjoyed the rest of the feast.
