Mike Angel continued walking to the bathroom but stopped short when he realized I wasn’t following. “Are you coming?” he asked. “Yeah, I just need a minute.” Angel nodded and kept walking. My heart was racing, and my breath began to get extremely heavy. What on earth am I doing? This can’t be real. I was freaking out and needed to calm down. Why this was happening now, I really couldn’t say, even after being fine with it all a minute ago. I had been too eerily calm earlier, so I guess I figured I was cool with everything. But I wasn’t. How could I be? I mean, in my bathroom was some clone that I conjured up with a candle, leaf and some hair? This was insane. I ran to the kitchen and splashed some water on my face. I was hoping the rush of cold water would wake me up, but no such luck.
