“Third Person’s POV” Jack held Zeevia’s both arms in a comforting manner to ensure he was with her. Even though Zeevia’s legs were trembling, she pulled herself free from Jack’s light grip. After, she strived her pace towards the dead body of her father. With each step she took forward, her heart was racing faster, her eyes were full of tears and her head was full of thoughts of what will happen to her afterwards. “Pa, don’t go. Please don’t leave me,” as she reached near enough, she pleaded. She was completely devastated. She held David’s both arms and started to shake it while calling him on top of her voice, “Paaaa... don’t leave me.” She couldn’t bear to see her father’s lifeless body. Thinking about her helplessness, she fell off guard losing her consciousness for the second time. Jack lifted Zeevia and held her delicate body in his arms, near to his chest and left the mortuary. He placed Zeevia on the hospital room’s bed; allocated for her. Jack kept cursing himself while staring at Zeevia’s face. Even though her face was looking dull, she was beautiful as always. Despite of the fact how rich she was, she never applied any makeup on her face. She had a naturally glowing fair skin, her lips were fuller and pink in color, she got crystalline blue orbs and long eyelashes which every girl dreamed to have. Her perfect body curves which resembled the shape of a typical verse and god gifted wavy blonde hair of hers added more to her beauty. Any man would go made witnessing her body curves, while most were dying to get a single glance from her. But in Jack’s eyes, she was just a friend. He never had a malicious intention towards Zeevia. Jack’s phone started ringing causing him to snap out of his thoughts. He slipped his hand inside the pocket and took his phone out. He looked into the phone’s screen to identify the caller ID. It was his father, Sebastian Reyes. “I am with the lawyer, you have to come into the main branch’s office as soon as possible,” Sebastian’s voice held a hint of worry, which rang an alarm causing Jack to hand over Zeevia to a nurse. He went in a hurry, to meet his father. As he entered the huge building; main branch’s office, he spotted his father sitting on a huge black chair placed in the waiting area, to the fore of reception. Sebastian’s behavior decoded he was waiting for Jack. The company’s lawyer was sitting beside Sebastian. As Jack froze his steps near both of the men, Sebastian stood up to his feet while motioning the lawyer and Jack to follow him. Jack frowned in confusion while stretching his lips to form a thin line. Though he had no clue of what was happening, he obediently followed Sebastian. Sebastian marched to an empty room, which was the cabinet designed for his son, Jack. With a doubtful mind, Jack entered the room. “Where’s the documents,” Sebastian commanded in a harsh tone. His brows were knitted in fierce. Seemed like he was about to blow a fuse. The lawyer, Mr. Pilot Carter gulped audibly after hearing the raspy voice of Sebastian. Pilot handed the documents, which was in a black zipped file. Sebastian grabbed the papers and displayed it on the empty table, just right next to the entrance door. Jack was shocked to see what was written in the documents. It was David William’s will. He had transferred all his property to Zeevia’s name. “After serving for all these years, is this what we got?” Jack bellowed in rage. His anger wasn’t less than his father’s. Before deep down Jack believed Sebastian would at least give some share as he had been managing the company for longer period of time. Sebastian had served David for the past 20 years while Jack had been handling the main branch for the past 10 years. For the past several years, they had been thirsty for David’s property. Sebastian had seen the previously made will of David in which David wrote 50 percentage of share to Sebastian and Jack. Yet it wasn’t enough for the greedy heart of Sebastian, thus he made the plan of ending David’s life. Jack kept patting his head. He was feeling betrayed as the services he provided went in vain. He got nothing in exchange of being loyal and serving till he was barely 18 years old. Before handing the will to both father and son, Pilot had done enough investigations on how David’s death occurred. But unfortunately, each and every clue was towards Sebastian. Neither doctors no police could declare the death was a conspiracy. Rather the death was claimed as a natural death. After witnessing their reactions, Pilot excused himself and left the room. Both the father and son was devastated. Jack loosened the tie knot as he was feeling suffocated. Seemed like the news stole all the oxygen in the large, well-ventilated office room. They were burning hot in fierce when a knock came on the door. After clearing his throat, Jack gave permission to enter. A staff walked in; moving her feminine body, clicking the heels on the floor. She was holding a file from one of her hands. “Dr. Malon’s secretary brought this and asked to hand it over to you, sir,” she spoke ploddingly while handing the file to Jack. Jack expanded his hand and took the file. After sending a lecherous gaze towards Jack, she left the room. “Now what is that? Another storm to come? Or a notice to hand over the company to Zeevia?” Sebastian’s anger was getting worse. Jack threw the file to the huge desk irresponsibly while stretching his lips to form a thin line; showing the least bit of interest towards anything related to David. Sebastian frowned witnessing the boredom in Jack’s eyes. Sebastian’s eyes showed a hint of anger towards his son, Jack. “Why you threw it carelessly? It could be something important!” Sebastian directed an icy gaze towards Jack. “I am not interested in anything related to David nor his company.” Seemed like Jack’s anger wasn’t any less than his father’s. Hearing Jack’s words, Sebastian lost his control over his vexation. “Go, take the file and bring it back to me.” Sebastian’s nostrils were dilated and eyes were bulging due to intense exasperation. Witnessing Sebastian’s angered expression, Jack decided to obey. He lazily directed his march towards the desk , grabbed the file and handed it over to Sebastian’s hand. After, he paced towards the large glassed door with the purpose of leaving. Sebastian opened the file interestingly. He narrowed his eyes while reading the small alphabetical letters. He kept blinking as he continued reading it. When he perceived what was written in it, his jaw was gasping. “Wait Jack!” Jack froze on his step and turned around. He was shocked to spot a hint of amusement on Sebastian’s face. The anger on Sebastian’s face was replaced by joy. “What was it?” Jack’s voice held a hint of eagerness. “Did he give us a share?” Jack couldn’t wait but asked. Sebastian beamed before replying, “no he didn’t. But it’s the key to get the whole company. It’s the reason behind David’s early death,” his voice was barely audible while grinning ear to ear. “What? Wasn’t it you behind David’s death?” Jack asked. “It was me. But this is the reason why he ended this early.” Sebastian smirked. “But how?” Jack frowned. “Come and see by yourself,” Sebastian muttered causing Jack to pace back towards his father. Once he was near enough, he engaged his gaze to the documents in the file. The next moment his eyes were opened widely. He blinked his eyes a few times before elevating his head in order to maintain eye contact. “Does this means.....” Jack’s words were cut off by Sebastian’s hushed voice.
