Questions and answers

Catherine POV

When I walked back to his room I was to the bed and sitting on it while I looking around for an escape plan.

"Now you clean already. Try again. What is your name?-His voice scared me because I didn't hear him enter the room. I fall from the bed to the floor and pain shots through me from my wound leg and I yelp in pain. I manage to sit up and look at him. He looks surprised and I can understand that. The way I look before is dirty and greasy compared with how clean I look now.

"I asked you a question mate. Answer it.-He reminds me that I forget to answer him.

"Who are you?-I asked him, and this caught him off guard.

"I asked you first. Now answer me.-He growls a little.

"Well, I am asking you now.-I look at him and my eyes tell him I am serious. I must be annoying him because he starts growling louder.

"I am Alpha Xavier Grey. This Moonshine pack and my territory. You're a rogue in my house, surrounded by my pack of 2000 men. You have no power here, so when I ask you a question I expect you to answer it.

"NOW.WHAT.IS.YOUR.NAME?-He shouts. He crosses his arm in front of his chest and waits for me to answer him. His back is against the wall and looks at me with his blue eyes.

I squeeze my teeth together. He is annoying me but he is right. I have no power and I am outnumbered. I have to accept my fate. He can do anything with me and no one will come to help me or rescue me.

"Catherine Spark.-I finally answer and I see him release a breath of relief.

"I like your name, it fits for you. Catherine... like Cat. Where did you come from? Are there any more like you?-He asks me quickly, and he looks very curious.

"I'm from California. I travelled alone and didn't meet another she-wolf in 3 years. I usually stay away from everything so nobody can catch me.-I answer, giving him the least amount of information I can, but it is all the truth.

"Why were you in my territory? Did you cross it on purpose?

"I'm here by accident. I was hungry and hunting when I met with your pack members.

"What direction are you headed? Is there somewhere special you're going to?

"I am just heading North. Because of the colder weather, there may not be many people.-He is nodding his head, and he looks satisfied with my answers. His face did not show any emotion while he processed what I told him. His eyes scan my body and stop on my wound. Blood still flows out from it but not as much as before.

"Come! We will go to the doctor and check out your wound.-He says and leaves the room. He doesn't even look back to see if I'm following him. My mind tells me not to follow but my injured body tells otherwise. So, I decided I should follow him. I slowly stand up and follow his scent. He walks so fast and because he has such long legs. I can't even catch up, I just follow his scent. I memorize the route and look inside every open door. I see some guards while we walk but not as many as the group that accompanies me here. He stops in front of a door and waits for me to arrive.

"Here is the doctor.-He says and opens the door for me. He doesn't leave me alone so, he comes into the room as well. He is so annoying.

The room is white and smells like disinfectant. I always hated hospitals and the smell is just yuck. The room is filled with medical supplies and machines. Two single hospital beds on each side of the room. In the middle, there is a big window and in front of it a big desk and a chair. Behind the desk, a man is seated in the chair. He is wearing a white coat like doctors always do. His scent is not normal. His scent is mixed with something else. When he turns I see the mark on his neck. He has mated with someone and that is why his scent mixed. I was young when the war started and I don't know so much about mates or mating. The doctor looks up from his papers and he first looks at the Alpha. He rise from his chair and holding his hand out to shake the Alphas. He is around 6"0. He didn't even see me, but I'm standing behind the Alpha but still.

"Alpha. Good to see you! What can I do for you?-He ask with a questing face.

"Doc Matthews. I have a special patient for you. I hope you can help.-Xavier says and steps to the side. Now I'm face to face with the Doctor. The doctor's mouth drops open as if he hadn't seen a she-wolf before. His face shows the same reaction as Alpha's when he saw my gender.

"Matthews, please close your mouth before something flies into it.-Alpha says to him and he immediately follows his order.

"Of course Alpha. Sorry...I'm just..surprised..where did you find her?-He stutters but his eyes are still fixed on me. I don't have a lot of patience so I growled at him. My leg is hurt and he is not doing anything, just looking at me. I don't like when others look at me very much. He quickly looks back at the Alpha.

"She kind of found us. Not easy to get answers from her but she will be better. I need your help with her thigh. She has a big wound and looks like she has some complications to healing.-He points to my wound.

"Of course. Please come and sit on the bed.-The doctor points to the bed and I slowly walk there. The doctor gathers the supplies he will need and soon sits in front of me. Xavier stands by my side, not far from me because I feel the heat is coming from his body. My wolf wants to rub herself into him. Lovesick wolf puppy. It will be hard for her when we have to leave but she will be okay.

"Okay because this wound up to her inside thigh. I have to look closer. Is that okay with you Alpha?-He asks Xavier, but why him? Why not me? Just kill me already. Xavier nods and give him permission to do as he needs. I spread my leg more so he can look inside my wound. He examines it for a while but finally speaks up.

"The wound is very deep but that's not problem. There are small bite marks so it's even deeper than it looks. Luckily the wolf missed the artery otherwise we would not be speaking here right now. Because your blood would flows out fast. I see some dirt and wood pieces stuck inside of it. I'll have to clean it and she'll need stitches. You must stay in bed for at least 3 or 4 days, but more is better. Try to not put much pressure on it or I'll need to stitch it again.-He explained to us and put his toolbox near me on the bed. Oh, boy! 3 or 4 days is too long. I don't even want to stay here one day. While I heal, I will gather as much information as possible and plan my escape.

"Alright, I'll give you some pain killer and local anesthetics.-He says to me and I'm ready for whatever will come. I am bowing to him, accepting what he said. He injected some liquid stuff into my leg and after that, I didn't feel anything. Soon the stitches were done and he wrapped my leg with a gaze. He helps me stand up after and makes sure not to put too much pressure on my leg.

"Thank you Dr. Matthews.-I say honestly. My voice isn't the best but I hope it will get better soon. Xavier says his thanks to the doctor and we walk out from the room slowly.
