If you want me, you have to earn me

Xavier POV

"Alpha Grey we found a rogue. We brought it with us because I thought you wanted to question him. He bites me pretty bad so I need to check with Dr.Matthews. He has very sharp canines.-Travis my Beta mind-linked me when they were in the town.

"Sure Travis. Bring him here. I don't have anything else to do now. I want some answers from him.-I to say to him and soon they knock on my door. I didn't expect the rogue to come in wolf form. Strange and he does not have scents that are strange too. He doesn't obey me. He thinks that he is smart. I try with soft then go with push harder until he gives up and obeys me. Nobody disrespects me. This is my territory and my pack. I am Alpha not because I was born I deserved it. Everybody has a chance against me but nobody can beat me. I protect the pack from every enemy and the pack always comes first.

He doesn't follow my orders and also bites me. Other Alphas would kill him but I need answers. Maybe he knows something that we don't. He was probably out there alone for long. His animal side is stronger than us who live in a pack. We werewolves pack animals not created to be alone.

When he finally obeys me and shifts. Ohh nothing could prepare me for what is right in front of my eyes. He is actually She.

I can't believe my eyes when she shifts in front of me. A she-wolf I saw a long time ago. Probably around the time the war started. The vampires and humans also go for our females. They know our weak spots. If some kill a mated she-wolf then her mate also dies. Only the strong male wolf can survive the loss of its mate. Our future is in our females also because if it's no female then no puppies. We survived but so many losses we have. The females soon go or die even if they aren't injured. Nobody knows what happened to them. We thought that maybe someone poisoned them or put a curse on them. One day we blink they are here and another day all gone. We can't figure it out so one day we realized there were no more females in the pack.

But now we found one. Not just one. She is my mate. I waited for her so long. I thought I would never get one or die in the war. She is perfect for me. A fierce little warrior. I thought she would never obey me. My beta Travis told me how hard she tried to escape. She even bites him badly on his shoulder. She did this with me. When I thought she finally gave up she stubbornly herself. I wonder how hard she was fighting with her wolf also because I'm sure she is by my side and wants her mate. As much as my wolf wants his mate. He said so many naughty things to me and oh boy I can't wait to do that with her. But not until she will beg for me. She is beautiful even though she covered dirt and I'm sure she went through so many bad things. She I think lives day by day. Never know what tomorrow holds for her. I thought she had brown hair but after her shower. Just wow. She has naturally blonde hair and dark brown eyes. Her breast looks so perfect and they want my attention even the first time we met. They beg for my touch and pull my attention to them. They like me but their owner. Ohh well, she is hard to deal with. Her voice is a little strange. I wonder how long she didn't speak with anybody. She said she was heading north. I understand why but the danger is still there. I know she wants to leave but I don't want her to leave. She is my mate, nobody else. I can't lose her not after finally finding her. I thought that I will have to spend my rest of my alone or become gay. After the Moon Goddess gave me a second chance mate and a male. Lucky me she found us. Catherine, my little kitty cat. Soon she will feel the bond get stronger between us and she can't resist. She will beg for me to claim her and I will gladly make it. They told us that a mate makes us weaker. But I don't believe it, and not after I saw how hard she fought with me. When Dr. Matthews sees her. I know he is excited and surprised also. The good doctor had a mate but unfortunately. She died while giving birth. Sadly not his mate or the baby made it. He was sad so long and still, I know. I can see in his eyes the hurt. His hands were between her legs before mine but otherwise, she never heals. The doctor said 3 or 4 days to heal her legs. That makes me a good opportunity to make her like me and convince her to stay. After we leave the doctor's room I grab her wrist and pull slowly to get some food for her. She is so skinny she needs to gain some weight. I like women skinny but I like when I can grab something on them. The tingly feeling back when I touch her and ohh it feels amazing. I wonder how it feels when I kiss her or more. She pulls her hand and tries to get free. I soften my face and smile at her.

"Let's find some food for you. You are probably hungry.-I say to her and softly pulls her toward the direction of the dining room. She hesitates for a second but finally relaxes her shoulder and follows me. I try to make small steps so she can keep with me. She followed me while I led her through the packhouse. After some minutes we finally reach the dining room. It's a huge and massive room and can hold together 500 men while we eat. In the room, a lot of large wooden tables so as many people can sit together as possible. In the front, a bigger table on a podium where we are all high ranked usually sit. I lead her to a chair and pull out for her. She hesitates again but finally sits down. I push her chair in and sit near her. A little later some of my pack members entered the room with trays in their arms full of food. The trays are full of meat, vegetables, fruits, and bread. I can see the shock on Catherine's face. I wonder when was the last time she ate normally. Travis said that she hunted down a rabbit before they caught her. I see her sniff the air and examine the food on the trays. She looks longer than I thought with questions written all over her face.

"Can...can I eat...from this?-She asks with a stutter. I raise an eyebrow because of her question. Why is she asking this? What does she think that we will do with her? Does she think that we will lock her or chain her? I know we are not friendly with rogues but she is my mate. I will never treat my mate like that. Even if she is rogue or not.

"Of course. Grab whatever you like.-I nodded to the trays and waited for her to move. She put some food on her plate and looked at me. Like if she waits for me. I gather a little meat with mashed potatoes and salad on my plate. I am nodding to her again and she finally starts to eat. So good to see her eat with a good appetite. My wolf is proud of us because we take care of our mate. She examines the bread for a while and sniffs for long. I think she didn't eat it a long time ago. I hope I can give her back as many things as possible she misses so much. I am looking at her for a while at how much she is enjoying her food. I start to eat as well and enjoy my meal with my mate. She put the bread in her mouth and I can hear a low moan. Is that the sexiest sound I ever heard? Oh yes, it is. I can't wait when she moans my name while I deep inside her. I look at her and our eyes meet. Her cheeks are getting redder than before and suddenly looks away from embarrassment. She didn't think that sound really came out from her. After she chews the last pieces I speak up. She turns face to face me.

"Catherine, I want to talk about your future.-I speak up honestly with her. Her face became white like all the blood flow out from her face.

"Sure. After my leg fully heals the next day I will leave and will continue my journey to the north. I will not tell anybody about your pack I promise.-She said immediately and didn't think for a second. She gives me a fake smile and drinks her water. She should think about this longer than I thought. She really thinks that she just walks away.

"I don't think it's possible Catherine. You can't go anywhere. You're a female and it makes you invaluable. And because you're my mate that makes this value hundredfold. You will stay here with me in this house. You will be my Luna and I will train you so you can defend yourself. We will work on your behave as well.-I give her a truthful smile when I finish speaking. I can see the fire ignite in her eyes. Fill with hatred. She will come around. I'm sure I'll just be kind to her.

"You can't keep me here. I have the reason why I stay away from any contact with others.-She growls back at me. I like when a woman is feisty. She sure turns me on. My friend behind the zipper starts to come alive after a long time.

"You can't risk your life. You're safer here than alone outside. I'm here to protect you like my pack members as well. Please think about it, Catherine. You know I tell the truth.-I say to her and hope she will understand my points. She is my last chance for a mate or even one day for a family. I can't risk losing this opportunity that the Moon Goddess gives me. I can see her gears moving in her head while she thinks. She slowly nods and tells me she agrees with me. I think for a second if she tells me the truth but my mind soon comes back because she starts speaking.

"You're right. This is the safest place for me as long as you stay away from my body. I don't give myself to you or anybody else. If you want me, you have to earn me. Deal?-She speaks up and I feel power comes from her. She already behaves like a Luna and I'm sure will earn her. She will be under me soon. She smiles at me and my pants feel so tight. She wipes her face with the napkin and puts it on the plate. I slowly stand up and she follows me.

"Deal. Now come with me.-I hold out my hand and wait while she takes it. She takes my hand and we walk out from the dining room.
