That was the reaction considering about this world’s view but in reality she had much more wealthy and had seen many things that were made of gold in her previous life.
But regardless of that, she wasn’t aware of this hence it was a genuine reaction.
“But how does that make me billionaire?”

Emily stared at her as she really wasn’t aware of this. She was confused too as to why she was being called an i***t by her.

The butler was gritting his teeth and clenching his first since he didn’t want to show an ugly sight in front of Emily but from inside he was angered enough to kill her.
“Your father had signed a paper regarding the wealth that he had~”
Emily thought for a second but still she couldn’t understand what she was trying to convey. She immediately asked, “But what does that have to do with me? I don’t understand...”
“Uhhh!!! Such a senseless girl! Can’t you even understand this much that your name is put on the papers and all those property belongs to you now!!!?”
Emily was just blinking her eyes as if she had heard something unbelievable.
“What did you sayyy!!?”
She wasn’t able to believe her since this was too sudden. She didn’t even knew whether she had to be happy or sad. She had already seen enough wealth in her past life and was now uninterested in those stuff!
What she actually wanted was a caring and loving family. She wanted to spend some time with her father but that wasn’t possible any more. She knew it very well so she just lowered her gazes and put upon a sad expression on her face.
“Anyway, I think your health is better now. So what are your plans?”
“Plans? Plans for?”
“Did you forget it already? We have a trip to attend which is being sponsored by the university. Surely you aren’t going to attend this year too right?”
“...”
“I mean who in their right minds would attend the trip if that had happened with them last year...”, she gave out an evil look and was smirking.
Emily knew everything because of the memory and that was precisely why she couldn’t say anything right now.
“So, it doesn’t matter if you come or not. Just give me some money like last time~”
Emily grit her teeth. She immediately said, “I will be coming this time!”
She had put upon a fake smile which she had learnt from many different people. On watching this Lara was agitated to trash talk.
“Haha! That’s funny! The girl who was so embarrassed last time due to which she didn’t even want to attend the university wants to go on the same trip to same place? Laughable! Hahaha!”
Emily was about to give a back answer when suddenly Steven slapped Lara hardly that it left a mark on her face.

It was completely quiet for a very few moments. It took a while for Lara to understand what had been done. Then she immediately shouted, “How dare a mere butler like you hit me? You slave! You dog!!! Piece of s**t!”
She was shouting everything that came into her mind without even realizing anything.
She immediately turned towards Emily and said, “Remove him from his position right now!!! Throw him out of the house, these dogs don’t know how to behave to their masters!”
She was extremely furious which was making her go crazy.
“I’m sorry! That can’t be done.”
“Eh? What do you mean by that Emily!!? You are taking the Dog’s side??”
Steven really thought that he would be kicked out of the work but Emily instead of doing that defended him.
“First of all what he did was exactly right! He didn’t do anything wrong at all!!!!”
“Eh? You mean to say slapping your own master is a good thing for a dog?”
“Oh please, you aren’t his master. He just hit some b***h who was trash talking to his miss.”
“...”
“And the second and most important thing, HE ISN’T DOG OR SLAVE!! HE IS FAMILY!”
The moment Steven heard this, his heart was lived and suddenly he felt some unknown light flashing for him. His eyes suddenly became a little teary which he controlled to the best of his ability to not to cry.
“You!!!”
“What more you want? Slaps? Just get lost.” , Emily had completely shut her mouth.
On hearing this Lara’s pride and ego, both were hurt and she immediately left the room furiously.
She dashed towards the car standing outside and immediately left the place as fast as she could.
The butler was asking for forgiveness for his actions but Emily wasn’t blaming him in the first place.
Instead of scolding him or doing anything else, she just patted him and said, “It’s ok. Don’t worry.”
She immediately stood up from the bed and stretched herself a bit.
“Young miss, you aren’t well! You shouldn’t exercise.”
“I am just stretching Steven. It’s been so long since I have been sleeping only.”
After that Steven brought some oranges which she hate happily. Slowly her health recovered and she could go back to the mansion since the doctor approved of being discharged.
But Steven was asking the doctor constantly to check again if he had missed anything.
Steven himself drove the car to the huge mansion which was completely white.
“So this is where Emily had been staying?”
“Huh? What do you mean by that young miss?
Emily without realizing told it out loudly which he was able to hear.
“Oops, did I say it out loud!” , she thought in her mind.
“Oh it’s nothing Steven, I was just wondering how big the mansion was.”
“Huh? Haven’t you been here earlier miss? Then why are you looking at it as if you aren’t familiar with it?”
“No! Don’t tell me he will find out that—“, she thought.
“Uhh... that’s...”
“What should I tell?”, she was worried because of this sudden asking.
“Oh! I remember, you were just 9 years old that time, so you might not be able to remember that time.”
