“What should I tell?”, she was worried because of this sudden asking.
“Oh! I remember, you were just 9 years old that time, so you might not be able to remember that time.”
Steven immediately said that which actually saved Emily from being suspicious. But it was indeed true. Even if she had the memories of the real owner, she didn’t know everything since a lot of them were blurry.
Also some of the memories were as if they were missing or have been erased purposefully which she couldn’t relate.
It was as if some page was torn from an important part of the book and due to that some informations were not matching.
“Ya... maybe I was too small...”, she just pretended as if she knew it genuinely.
Steven immediately stopped the car as soon as they arrived near the mansion. Emily immediately got down of the car and rushed near it to look at it closely.
“Wow. Such awesome mansion... I have never seen something like this before in my previous life!”, she mumbled.
It was pure white with some yellow designs which was quite fascinating.
She looked at different carvings that were made after looking at the shadow which marked its height.
She then immediately rushed towards the door which some maids opened as soon as she arrived at the entrance.
She entered it elegantly and immediately dashed to her room which was on the first floor.
“Truly fascinating.”, she said it while her eyes were all sparkly.
Her room was decorated in a wonderful way. There were many things for her. The bed was especially soft and comfy on which he jumped.
Walls were painted with pink and blue which were her favourite colours and on top of that the window was in a perfect place from where cool wind gushed in.
‘Knock knock’
“May I come in miss?”
Steven immediately came to explain Emily about many things since he had decided to take care of Emily from now on.
“Yes come in Steven~”
He opened the door and walked towards Emily. He immediately bowed at her and said, “I’m sorry young kiss but there are a lot of things that I need to tell you about...”
“Eh?”
Emily tried to guess about what he had to say but she couldn’t find anything important. The only thing she could think of was about her university.
But what he wanted to say was on a different scale and was much more important than that.
He did start by saying that she had to attend the university but then soon drifted to the main topic which was of utmost importance.
“Young miss, you have to take care of the business that your father has left in half. There are many important deals in pending and much more to do...”
“Eh!!?”
She immediately stared at him as if he had said something which she couldn’t have imagined at all.
“You are saying that I have to take care of the business?”
“Yes...”
It was going to be utterly impossible for her since the field which she studied was of detective agency where she wanted to be a detective but now she had to take care of business and accounting about which she didn’t have any idea.
So she tried to refuse it but then suddenly she paused.
“What are you doing Aeria? Since when did you start to look down on yourself?”, were her inner thoughts.
She was very good at accounting in her past life as after her father’s death, it was she who took care of the finance and other important mattwr by drafting many things.
So she was exceptionally good at these things but unknowingly she was trying to force herself to think that she didn’t have any knowledge in this field.
But then she suddenly realized that this was how Emily had been living so far and that was why her heart was not as strong as others to be rude in real.
She immediately clenched her fist and grit her teeth.
“Young miss you have to—“
“I will take care of the company from now on Steven...”
“No miss, you have to take care of...”
“Huh?”
“Wait what?”
He suddenly stared at her face which was showing a different exorsssion from earlier. She was definitely giving out a different feeling which was not at all comparable with the earlier frightened feeling.
“This feeling... it’s like the boss’s aura...”, he thought.
He was able to see his boss who was actually Emily’s father inside her. Both would have given out the same aura which he could feel.
“But I am not having any experience in this field so will you teach me Steven?”
It was a wise choice to ask Steven for help since he had always been by her father’s side and new almost everything about it. But unfortunately he couldn’t agree with it.
“I’m sorry miss, I can’t possibly teach you...”
Steven had other plans for now as he wanted to find out the culprits who had installed bomb in the plane.
It was shown as if a place crash had happened but when he investigated deeply, he found out that there was a bomb inside the place which exploded that led to everyone’s death.
Though his boss’s body wasn’t found, it was inevitable to get out alive from such a blast.
But he had some faith and looked the area for quite sometime, however all his efforts were wasted.
After that he has returned back to meet Emily and now wanted to go to look for the real culprits.
“You can’t teach me...?”, for some reason she started to feel unease. It was not his intention at all but what else could he do because he had to find them early or else even Emily’s life might be in danger.
“Hmm, let’s see... we can do this! I will arrange a proper tutor for you who will teach you all the basics! Till then I have some important family matters to attend and I will return as soon as possible...”
“So after that will you...”
He nodded his head and said, “Yes! After that I will teach you, Young miss.”
