“Tell me! Why are you quiet all of a sudden?”
She was agitated for some reason. She believed that nothing bad would have happened to her father as it had happened in her previous life. She kept her fingers crossed which she had learned from the memories of this life.
But unfortunately no one can reverse what had happened. So the butler had to say it regardless of the pain she would suffer.
“Miss, your father... he passed away in a plane crash...”
“Huh...?”
“...”
“I didn’t hear what you told... could you repeat it?”
The butler had mustered all his strength to tell it once and now all his strength has vanished. He could hardly open his mouth if he were to try again but it seemed that it was futile if she couldn’t hear it.
He somehow managed to tell her.
“Miss, you Father has passed away in a plane crash just recently.”
He paused for some moment after saying that and looked towards her. But when he looked at her, he was completely shocked by looking at tears in her eyes.
“Eh...? I’m crying?”, she wondered.
She wasn’t his daughter anyway and didn’t even know him in reality but the body remembered everything about him. And probably that was the reason why she cried subconsciously.
Her heart ached again and it felt as if one part of her body had gone missing. It had gone too far to even retrieve it back.
She tried to calm herself but failed to do so and showed an un-lady like sight to the butler who did nothing other than stare at her.
“The Young miss... cried?”
She tried to wipe her tears which were soon flowing again. It was as if she was suffering from immense pain but didn’t know how to show it.
The butler couldn’t see any more of this and immediately rushed towards her and have a tissue.
“Eh?”
She looked at the tissue for a while and then glanced at the butler who nodded his head.
She then immediately took the tissue and wiped her tears again and again which were almost nonstop.
All her memories were being flashed in front of her eyes of both last and present life. In both the lives she lost her father again and again and due to this she was hurt as if she was pierced by an arrow.
Now all she could do was rely on the butler and no one else since all the other relatives were greedy bastards who only aimed at the large sum of money which her father had.
Just the thought of her father being dead was making her cry again since she felt all alone when suddenly the butler said, “Don’t worry miss, you aren’t alone. I am there for you...”
Not understanding that, she immediately hugged him tightly while her breasts felt warm on his chest.
“M-miss...?”, he flustered and his cheeks were red.
It was literally the first time he had touched any girl or women and this was making him uncomfortable. But for some reason he felt an unknowing warmth which made him too to move into tears.
He too cried a bit and then immediately stopped. He waited for the miss to calm down and stop hugging patiently.
Soon 2 minutes had passed and Emily was now stable. She broke the Huh and wiped the remnant tears. She smiled a bit and said, “Thank you...” as if she were expressing her gratitude from her whole heart.
Steven just bowed a bit and said, “It was my job to help you relieve your sadness miss, don’t thank me I’m near future...”
She nodded her head and was about to ask something when suddenly some foot steps were heard.
A girl with black hairs and purple eyes with a sad look which was probably fake came rushing into the medical room where Emily was resting.
“Oh my!!! Are you alright Emily? I heard you had some heart surgery?”
Emily who had the soul of Aeria was already aware that she was faking sadness since she had already met tons of people in her past life who did the same.
She just nodded her head and ignored her as she thought it would be no good to mingle with someone as low as her.
But the girl didn’t stop. She continued her blabbering, I also heard that your dad passed away! How pitiful is that...”
She was saying that while smirking behind her hand which was hiding her mouth properly. Emilia again nodded her head and expressed genuine sadness.
Steven was present there observing their conversation and was being extremely mad at the girl’s expression and attitude.
“Oh well, that’s not the issue. What I wanted to know was that did you become a billionaire in just a single night?”
“Eh?”
Emily didn’t understand by what she meant. She was indeed a little rich thanks to her father sending her money regularly. She used to save the amount too but that would make a her a billionaire within a night was not something to be expected.
So she thought about the money which she had used to buy some shares.
“Lara, did the price of the shares rise to a billion?”
Lara was the name of the women who had just entered who was the same age as that of Emily. In fact she was her cousin who was leeching off her property too while making her sign at unnecessary papers.
“Shares? I don’t understand what you are talking about...”
“That’s what I should say! What do you mean by becoming a billionaire in a single night if it’s not about shares?”
Lara smirked at seeing how fooling Emily was. She immediately grinned and said, “How foolish can you be? Didn’t you realize that your dad was a billionaire?”
“Eh!!!? Father was a billionaire?”, she was extremely shocked by this news which was indeed new to her. This was the first time she had heard about it.
That was the reaction considering about this world’s view but in reality she had much more wealthy and had seen many things that were made of gold in her previous life.
But regardless of that, she wasn’t aware of this hence it was a genuine reaction.
“But how does that make me billionaire?”
