“Hmm, let’s see... we can do this! I will arrange a proper tutor for you who will teach you all the basics! Till then I have some important family matters to attend and I will return as soon as possible...”
“So after that will you...”
He nodded his head and said, “Yes! After that I will teach you, Young miss.”
She too nodded her head as she didn’t want to trouble Steven. She knew it very well that he too had his own life but wasn’t sure what that was. On top of that she could consider it as his holiday since he never took a single leave in entire if his work time.
“So, I’ll attend the university from tomorrow... and...”
Steven immediately said, “Young miss, Tomorrow is Sunday and no classes in the university as it will be closed. You can relax and rest till tomorrow and after that you can attend it.”
She thought for a bit and smiled.
“Okay.”
Steven then immediately looked at his wrist watch and said, “Young miss, it’s too late now. I need to leave. Please take care.”
She nodded her head and said, “Sure, you too be safe!”
After hearing this he immediately departed from the mansion and headed towards the airport to do some important investigations.
Meanwhile Emily was alone in the mansion with only a few maids. She didn’t have anyone else with her who cared about her or came to visit her so her entire day was utterly boring.
All she did was reading some books and looking at other things which were interesting. Other than that she didn’t have anyone with whom she could speak to.
The maids to kept their distance since they thought that Emily was rude and it would be the best i they didn’t bother her.
“Sigh, I’m hungry. Let’s have lunch...”
She immediately left her room and walked downstairs where she suddenly heard a sound.
“Huh? What happened?”, she rushed immediately while saying this only to find that a maid dropped some nice looking plates in which she was serving food.
It seemed she had done that by mistake and was thinking of what to do when suddenly Emily arrived.
“I... I am extremely sorry miss! I didn’t mean to do so...”, she was extremely afraid as she had heard that Emily was so rutheless that she would immediately shoot with gun and kill the person who makes mistake.
So her hands were trembling. Emily immekdtekyblooked at her hands which was cowering in fear. On top of that she was bleeding a bit because of the cut that she got while picking the broken pieces.
“You are bleeding.”, saying this Emily immediately bent and grabbed her hands.
“Miss?”
The maid was surprised when she saw Emily worried about the wounds she received.
She immeditekybasked another maid who had just come to get the first aid kit and after getting which Emily herself whipped the bleeding and put a bandage on her finger.
The maid was not only surprised but also delighted in seeing her kiss in this way. Her earlier thoughts took a turn and now felt as if she was a kind hearted person, exact opposite of the rumours.
“Take rest for sometime.”, Emily said this with a smiling face to which the maid nodded her head while keeping a low profile to herself.
Then she immediately looked at the chef who was cooking and asked, “What is there for lunch today?”
The chef immediately replied with a wavy voice, “S-steak and fried rice Maam...”
“Oh... nice! I love them a lot!”, she expressed her true feelings in front of him and then immediately went back to her room after asking him to send the food directly to her Room.
She took a bath and was immediately prepared to have the delicious meal when the maid arrived with the lunch in her hands.
She slowly walked towards Emily and put it on the table and immediately left.
Emily didn’t even have the time to thank her but for some reason the distance between them seemed too far. It looked as if there were still many people who despised Emily.
But she thought of not giving up and decided to win their hearts slowly.
She started eating her lunch and enjoyed it thoroughly because she vaguely remembered the taste based on her memories. This type of food wasn’t usually available in her era but right now it was in front of her so she didn’t miss the opportunity.
So after she finished it a maid came and collected the plates. It was the same maid who had come earlier so just before she left she heard a word from Emily’s mouth which made her smile a bit.
“Thanks...”, is what Emily said and this one little word was enough to make her smile which she tried to hide from her.
Soon Emily took a look at her schedule of the university and checked all the classes that she had missed.
“Hmm, that’s quite a lot of work...”
There were many things that she hadn’t studied so she had to do her best to completely study everything. She immediately opened the books and started to read.
“Huh? What’s this? I am just reading it but everything is being memorised automatically?”
Emily indeed had a photographic memory. Even from childhood, once she saw something, she would be able to remember it forever but it seemed like she hadn’t used this ability for a long time and because of drugs it was dimmed.
That was the reasons why there were some holes in her memories.
“Great!!!”, Emily was now excited since she could finish everything if she studied for 2-3 hours.
She immediately looked for all her study materials and started reading them one by one. She tried to cover everything that she had missed and thought if completing all her homeworks given by the university.
AFTER 5 HOURS...
“Phew, it took me longer than expected but looks like I have finally completed everything.”
Not only did she finish memorising everything, she also finished her homework and had studied the topic of the upcoming week because the topic she was reading was making her excited.
“Done, I think I’m prepared for tomorrow!”
