Episode 4:

“Yuri!” my mother screamed, while my father and Damian looked wide-eyed, wanting to intervene, but too late.

However, the gun was empty.

While I was still in a daze, my arm was suddenly grabbed by someone, then my whole body was pulled forward. It was none other than Loid who pulled me.

Suddenly, being brought closer to him, I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by a series of chaotic emotions. My heart raced abnormally to where I couldn’t control it. I glanced at him. From this angle, his face became even more beautiful, but at the same time, I also saw... a scar at the end of my eyebrow.

As if catching my gaze, Loid spoke coldly:

His hand was now clinging to my gun arm. His movement seemed gentle, not using much force, but for me, I couldn’t move.

He twisted my wrist, causing me to cry out involuntarily, but at the same time, the gun fell from my hand to the ground.

At that moment, Alice’s voice suddenly rang out:

“Yuri, his wolf, is quite attractive.”

Loid seemed to feel the same, I guessed. Then, he released me. His action was uncompromising, causing me to stagger backward a few steps.

“Retrieve Luna Fiona.”

Melinda’s tone was respectful, gentle.

He issued the order, and the soldiers immediately rushed in, intending to restrain my mother.

My mother spoke through tears, then she stood up. To the astonishment of everyone, no one could stop her, she rushed forward and banged her head against the edge of the table.

“Mom!”

In that moment, I felt as if I were struck silent, my heart as if stabbed by a knife, the pain suffocating. I hurriedly rushed forward, embracing my mother.

No one expected my mother’s actions. My father and Damian also looked wide-eyed, the muscles on their faces seeming to relax completely, their faces frozen, their bodies stunned, speechless.

Blood flowed from her forehead, and her face turned pale. My eyes were red, tears clung to my eyelashes and slid down my flushed cheeks with each sob and gasp.

“Mom, mom...”

I was desperate, feeling like the world was collapsing in a moment.

At this moment, my gaze shifted upwards and stopped at Loid’s face, then I suddenly stood up and slapped him hard.

Loid didn’t expect my action, I think that’s why he remained still and didn’t resist my hit. His face tilted to one side, red marks gradually appearing on his skin.

My action astonished and horrified everyone else. Perhaps everyone knew that messing with Loid wouldn’t lead to anything good.

“Luna Fiona is not dead, Luna Fiona is awake.”

Suddenly, Melinda’s voice rang out. Pulling me back from the brink, I hurriedly rushed over and saw my mother gradually regaining consciousness.

My gaze shifted to Damian, but he also just avoided it, clearly... didn’t want to look, didn’t want to hear my pleading, and also didn’t want to help.
