Arriving at the Charity Auction

In the meantime, Jayden has been helping Cathy secretly by buying some of her brother's stock in Morozov's company. Jayden really likes Cathy, and he would love to take her out, but she keeps refusing him, and he knows it is because she has not forgiven her father and brothers yet, and she first wants to get her revenge. As a result, she now has the majority shares in Morozov's company. Jayden knew her brother would never sell it to her, so he bought it and sold it to her.

Cathy does not know who the person is who is buying all the shares in her birth father's company. She thinks it must be Jason. On the morning of Jayda's third day at work, she goes to his office as the person who purchased some of her father's shares he had to sell to keep Diana happy. She wants to ask Jason about it. She has been studying hard and has a degree in finance and digital marketing. She wants to thank her brother for helping her.

"Hi, bro." She says after making sure with his secretary he is not busy and storms into his office.

"Hi, sis, you better start knocking. You almost gave me a heart attack. You know I am getting old." Jason says.

"Not old enough to make scandals all over the internet and tabloids. So are you and Jayda a couple now?" Cathy asks.

"What do you think?" Jason avoids her question.

"She spent the night with you, and you drop her at work and pick her up. I see everything on social media. According to the tabloids, you are also the couple of the year, "Cathy laughs.

"They can talk a lot of nonsense." Jason says.

"I know. That brings me to the reason why I am here. Thank you for buying my father and brother shares in Morozov Incorporated." Jason frowns. He did not do it.

"I did not buy it. But Jayden did." Jason says. He knows Jayden did as Jayden asked him to tell him every time shares are up for sale.

"Jayden? Why would he help me?" Cathy asks.

"Maybe because he keeps asking you out, and you turn him down. Go to the charity auction with him. You can thank him then." Jason says.

Cathy has a lot of money she put away for years from the shares her mother got and gave to her. That is why she could buy the shares from Jayden without knowing it was Jayden selling them to her.

"Well, I do like him a lot. I will call him and say I will go with him to the auction tonight. You and Jayda will also be there, right?" Cathy asks, as she does not want to be alone with Jayden. He is tall, handsome and looks a lot like his father. She has loved Jayden for a long time but wants first to settle things with the Morozovs.

"Yes, we will be there, but you will not spoil my fun with Jayda." Jason warns his sister.

"Of course not." Cathy says. She calls Jayden and tells him she will attend the charity auction with him. Jayden planned to skip it as Cathy did not want to go, but now he smiles happily as she agrees.

"Okay, I will see you tonight." Cathy says.

Oh, Cathy wants to be at the auction tonight as she knows there will be drama if Victoria also shows up at the auction.

For years she hated that b***h as she knew Victoria was always using Jason. She will show up at a charity event and pretend to be Jason's date for the night. This time her little trick will not work.

Most people know about Victoria doing it, and Cathy knows the world is waiting for Victoria to try it again, and they wonder if Jason will show up with Jayda. Everyone is waiting in suspense. Cathy laughs as she can not wait to see Viccy's face if that happens.

The day went by fast as all of them were busy, and Jayda had her first surgery. Many students from the university attended and watched as she performed a complicated operation from a balcony on top of thick glass. It is not every day you see one of the world's best surgeons in action. However, the procedure was a big success, and the students were in awe of Jayda's ability.

The doctors and nurses talked about it, and even Stella got some respect for Jayda. So maybe Jayda is not just a spoiled brat. Besides, Jayda could have reported her as she had the evidence, and she did not. Stella also looked at all the awful remarks Victoria Ward made on social media about Jayda and saw that Jayda did not even make one remark in defending herself against the haters. She left it up to the people to decide for themselves.

"You are an evil b***h, Victoria Ward and a bitter old woman. I was always a fan of yours, but not anymore. Get your drunken ass off the couch and look for a job like the rest of us. You have been riding too long on Jason Morgan's back." Stella commented on one of the remarks Victoria made.

However, she is a changed person as Jayda showed her her mistakes, and since she is friendlier to the nurses, Dr Mike Summers has asked her out on a date. She can not believe she got a date with a Doctor, and they will attend the charity auction tonight. The nurses are happier and like her now. She gets invitations to parties and does not have to sit alone at home now. Jayda changed her life, and she loves the little doctor now.

Ruby is surprised as no one could even talk to Stella before, and now she is the nicest nurse in the hospital and a pleasure to work with. Maybe she just needed a wake-up call. Jayda handled the situation like a pro. She bet Jayda had a lot of jealous nurses and doctors she had to work with in the past.

The operation lasted over three hours, and when Jayda came out of the operation theatre, she was tired. Stella brings her a cup of coffee, and she apologises to Jayda.

Jayda smiles at Stella as she knows the woman is lonely, and she sees Dr Mike looking at Stella when she is not watching. He is almost forty, but he is still an attractive man. He has been divorced for four years, and he needed a wife that would understand his work. Stella is beautiful, although she never thought so. She encouraged Mike to ask Stella out. He is a shy, quiet man and, at first, does not want to, but when Jayda tells him she saw another man sending flowers to Stella, he quickly asks her out.

She was lying as it flowered a patient sent to the nurses to thank them for taking care of him while he was in the hospital. One of Stella's friends heard it and told her how Jayda made Dr Mike ask her out and that they think he likes Stella.

"I also want to thank you for getting Dr Mike to ask me out. I waited years for him to do that, but we all know he went through a bitter divorce and is too shy to ask a woman out again." Stella says.

"That is nothing. I only pushed Mike in the right direction. Remember to take those flowers home tonight." Jayda laughs.

Stella is amazed that she was willing to judge Jayda so easily while Jayda is the kindest person she has ever met. After that, Stella decides never to judge a person before getting to know them.

At five, Jason comes to pick Jayda up. Her patient is stable and will be sleeping most of the night. The nurses look at Jason as he kisses Jayda and takes her hand to walk with her to his car.

The Charity auction will start at seven, and it will give Jayda enough time to get ready. Although tired, she is looking forward to the auction as she loves to buy antiques. It has been a long time since she bought any antiques.

At seven, Jason comes to her door, and they walk to the car. Surprisingly there are no paparazzi or media around. They must all be at the auction. Jayda looks beautiful in a form-fitting white dress, and Jason thinks he will have difficulty keeping his hands off her tonight.

As they reach the event, they get out of the car. Victoria was waiting for Jason to show up so she could pull her old trick on him again. As he gets out of the car, she walks forward to put her arm in his, and the media sees it, but this time Jason ignores her totally and walks to the other side of the car and opens the door for the beautiful Jayda Hudson.

Victoria stands there looking like the fool she is. Victoria does not have a date, and she feels ashamed as Jason ignores her and does not even greet her. She walks into the hall fast. She hoped no one saw her embarrassment when she tried to grab Jason's arm.

Some of the celebrities saw it, and they laughed behind her back. Victoria Ward made a fool of herself once again. It is time Victoria stops running after Jason and starts looking for jobs. Everyone heard that Enzo canceled all her roles in his film, and many companies did not want to use her as a model for their products anymore. The media also caught her embarrassing moment on camera, and the TV hosts made fun of how she had to turn around.

The event is broadcast live by many news networks as it is a big event every year in LA. It is evident that Victoria was using the same trick for years and got away with it, but not tonight. This time she had no friendly Jason enough not to embarrass her.

"Jason, are you going to marry Dr Hudson?" One reporter shouts at Jason.

"Of course, as soon as she says yes." Jason answers, and Jayda smiles, but inside she feels like killing Jason for making their situation worse.

"Dr Hudson, will you marry Jason?" One reporter shouts at Jayda.

"Of course, as soon as he asks me." Jayda gets Jason back, and now the responsibility is on his shoulders again. She will not let him get away with it. Jason smiles.

"When are you going to ask Dr Hudson to marry you?" The same reporter asks, noticing the playful mood between the couple.

"When she least expects it." Jason says.

The media love the couple as they are playful and fun. Unlike Victoria, Jayda is friendly and does not act like she is better than anyone else.

They walk inside and take their seats. Victoria, seated in the back and not in the VIP section as always when she pretends to be Jason's date, stares behind Jayda's back.

Stella and Dr Mike are sitting near Victoria, and Stella talks about the operation Jayda did today and how successful it was and what a great doctor Jayda is. She makes sure Victoria can hear every word, and Mike, not knowing about anything, talks with praise about Jayda.

"Can you two shut up!" Victoria snaps at them, and Stella takes secret videos of Victoria being jealous and not able to stand the way people talk good about Jayda.

"The auction has not started yet, and we have the right to talk if we like. So who are you anyway to tell us what to do?" Stella asks.

"I am Victoria Ward! I am a big star, and the two of you are nothing." Victoria snaps again.

"Oh, you mean the ex-big star. Why else will you be sitting here with us if you are still so big on the Hollywood scene." Stellas says.

Victoria is angry, but she does not want to leave. If she goes now, everyone will know she is angry and make fun of her on the internet again. Besides, the media is outside, and she will leave in the bundle when the crowd goes.

"Jayda Hudson is nothing! Jason will grow tired of her and come back to me." Victoria says. Stella laughs.

"He never wanted you, and you need to accept it and move on." Stella says.

Victoria is so angry she throws her drink and Stella, but it hits a man busy taking his seat in the face. Victoria looks up and sees the man looking at her with disgust in his eyes. he is a prominent director, and he makes a note to never use Victoria in one of his films.
