"Ma'am we'll be landing please buckle your seat belt" the airhostess said.

I did as I was told. It was a long trip and most of the time I was sleeping. I looked out of the window to see the city light shinning. The city where it all started and ended was there. 5 years didn't change it at all. It still looked magnificent with all the tall buildings covering the land.

Jane and Gabi decided to pick me up from the Airport. Chris couldn't join me as he had work. After all he was the CEO of one of the biggest furniture company in the world.

I safely landed and walked towards the exit with my luggage. I saw Jane and Gabi standing with confusion on their face. I guess they didn't recognise me.

"Looking for someone?" I asked as Jane analysed me.

"OH MY GOSH!! It's you. f**k!! You look so freaking different and-"

"What the f**k happened to your hair and why are you wearing a freaking formal suit" Gabi yelled interrupting Jane.

"Shut up! She looks hot and Damn girl!! You are shinning" Jane said giving me a her usual bone crashing hug.

"I didn't like it" Gabi said.

"No one asked you. Now get her luggage" Jane said pulling me towards the parking as we left Gabi there.

"How have you been love?"

"I'm pretty good as you can see. How are you?" I asked back.

"Well you see I'm getting married to your stupid friend c*m brother. I can't be fine" she said dramatically.

"Hey! I can hear you" Gabi said behind us.

"Whatever" she said and unlocked her car.

We got inside the car and started driving. We catched up on each other. Jane was now the chief editor of her company as she always wanted to be. Gabi left his job at Ignite Co. and was now running a business with Chris. The business was quite surprising as Chris never mentioned that.

We soon reached at there place. It wasn't huge like David's but it was pretty amazing. Perfect for a small family.

"You should get some rest. Tomorrow we'll be going for cake tasting and I want your ass up as soon as the sun shines" Jane said and walked towards the master bedroom I guess.

"She still doesn't wake up before 9 so have a peaceful night" Gabi said and I couldn't keep my smile.

They definitely are the best for each other. Jane was fire and Gabi was water. They complimented each other's character perfectly.

I got in my PJs and settled in my bed. Well my habit of sleeping in my underwear was gone by now. I was just so concious about someone looking while I'm sleeping.

I got my phone and dialled Andrea. I already miss her

*flashback*

"Where are you going?" Andrea asked.

"New York. But I'll be back in few days" I said packing my stuffs.

"I wanna come with you" Andrea said with a grumpy tone.

"It's an office tour baby. I'll be back soon I promise"

"Then why papa David not going with you?"

Andrea was a smart kid and it was hard to lie about anything.

"Papa David will join me as well but after few days" that was true though.

"Then don't go now. Go with papa David"

"I have other works to deal with before papa David goes there" This was getting hard now.

"Are you leaving me?" she said and looked down.

I don't know what she meant but she seem upset.

"Baby I'll come back soon. I'm just leaving for work" I said as I got her in my arms.

She hugged me tightly and started murmuring something.

"What happen?"

"Momma never came back when she left alone. Don't go Mimi" she said and started crying.

It breaks my heart to lie to her about everything but I am helpless now and to be honest I'm scared every second of my life.

"I promise I'll always come back. Nothing in this world can take you away from me"

"Can I have some candy?" she said still holding me tight.

"Why would you need candy?"

"I'm not happy and candy makes me happy" she said. As usual she gets what she wants.

I chuckled and put her down. I have her a small nod and she ran outside to get her hidden candy.

My phone started ringing. It was Chris.

"Your flight is tomorrow early morning so don't be late" he said

"Yeah. Chris can you come here today for sometime?"

"Yeah I will. I miss Andrea as well. So I'll see you both soon" he said and hung up.

*flashback*

"Hey baby what are you doing?"

"Emi is telling me a stupid story" she complained.

"Baby no swearing"

"Sorry Mi. Can you ask Ami to read me Mulan's story. I don't like Cinderella" she said

"Okay keep the phone on speakers" I heard a beep.

"Emi you know what she needs" I said.

"Fine! Momma's girl" Emily said and I could hear Andrea giggling.

"Thank you Mimi. Good night" she said.

"Good night love" and we hung up.

I was already tired so I dozed off.

Knock-knock-knock

"Come in"

"Gabriel is getting married" Ivan said.

"I don't see why that would concern me" I said looking at the file in my hand. To be honest it does concern me. He was my friend who I lost as well and I'm sure I'm not invited in his wedding.

"Gabriel is getting married to Jane. Naomi's best friend" Ivan said pointing it out.

"We have been following both of them for 2 years. Starting from their phone logs to their travel plans and still nothing" I was getting impatient now.

"Just think about it. There is a high chance Naomi will attend the wedding. It's her best friend after all" Ivan reasoned out.

Ivan had a point. Maybe this will be my last chance.

"Fine ask Sean to follow both Jane and Gabi. If needed get more man to work. This might be my only chance" I said with determination. I can't loose this opportunity.

Beep-beep-beep

"Hellow?"

"Sir it's me, Sean"

"You better get something for me" I threatened. It's been a week now and I'm still not getting any lead. I was really tired of getting nothing but sorry out of him

"Sir I have been followings them till the Airport. I predicted maybe they are here to pick ma'am Naomi but I see a blond girl in a suit. She looks different but also similar. You told me about Emily, Naomi's sister. Maybe it's her because this lady shares few of the facial features with ma'am.Should I proceed with following them?" he said with hesitation.

"It can be possible. Emily knows Jane as well so you should keep a track at this lady. Just follow them until their wedding. She might come anytime" I said still hoping for the best.

"Okay sir" he said and disconnected the call.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

*flashback*

I slowly creeped my hands towards her belly to pull her closer to my chest.

I looked her in the mirror and smiled. She smiled back placing her head on my shoulder.

"This looks perfect" I said softly muffling in her hair. This feels so good!

"You smell like me" I said. I want her to smell like her.

"You don't like it?" she asked looking at me with worried eyes.

"I love your fragrance. I could easily identify you with your fragrance" I said looking up in the mirror again. She didn't say anything and just looked. I guess she was satisfied with my reply.

"Why the f**k are you so beautiful" I said through a grunt. It's getting hard to resist now.

I slowly moved the robe from her right shoulder and started planting kisses on her neck and shoulder.

"Andrew" she whispered breathlessly.

This was what I wanted. I wanted her to like what I'm going. I wanted her to be breathless while I'm pleasing her. I want to take her right now but I wanna take my time in loving her.

"Hmm"

I was sucking the spot on her neck which made her moan shyly. I'm sure that's gonna leave a mark. Damn! she is mine and I'm gonna mark her as mine.

"I need to tell you something" she whispered.

"Hmm" came the same reply from me. I'm too busy with what I'm doing. I don't wanna miss a second.

I started pulling the robe off her shoulder. When suddenly she said something. Something that changed my whole life.

"I love you Andrew" she said with all the emotions.

I stopped and looked back in the mirror with shock. I can't believe this!!! Naomi loves me!!! She loves me and I love her!! I thought I'm the only one but she loves me toooooo!!!

I don't know how to react so I just turned her around and hugged her tightly.

"You don't know how happy you made me today. This has to be the best day of my life. I love you so much. Please don't ever leave me. I promise I won't hurt you" I said breathing rapidly. I promise both of us that I'll always love her and I'm definitely gonna take care of other stuffs. I will not let her leave me. I'll protect her.

She held me closer to assure me.

"I promise to never leave your side" She said.

*flashback*

"You broke your promise babygirl. You left me with just your memories. You never loved me enough to give me a chance to explain. But once you come back to my life, I won't let you go again. I'll keep you with me always. You will be mine again and forever" I murmured to myself.

I lifted the photo frame off my desk. It was a picture of Naomi on her birthday 5 years back. This was the last picture of hers before leaving.

God! I miss her so much.

I'll never stop. I'll get you sooner or later. You can't hide from me for too long. You are my babygirl!
