Chapter 14: The two men made short work of setting up the small camp. Two tents for four people, Helena and Krushna in one, Doyle and Sigmund in another. Sigmund was trying to explain who was responsible for the murders of the women back in San Francisco to Doyle, and how in a way Beast and the army—specifically Helena’s step-father, the General—was responsible. Sister Ping was one of the murderers, but she had help. “Did you ever find Sister Ping and make her pay?” Doyle asked.
