Chapter 15:
With help from the Vanaras, the four humans moved swiftly through the canopy of the trees. Dangling vines became their mode of transportation, with helping arms or tails when the humans needed to find the correct grip and not fall to their deaths.
They headed deep into the drier part of the jungle away from the water and the web-covered trees and the stronghold of the Spider creatures.
The Vanara male Helena busted the limb on stayed close to her, never letting her out of his sight. The singed fur made him easy to spot. His large brown eyes constantly on her gave Helena an uneasy feeling, but she had little choice but to accept his help.
She expected to drop down out of the trees when they reached their village, but she was mistaken. She saw no buildings to even call home.
