Dude Pushes welcomed gays, straights, transgenders, tiny people, special needs persons, and just about any group or groups of patrons who wanted to get fit or stay fit. Two beefy brothers, Rudy and Robin Pate, owned the place. Both were in their early thirties, skilled in running a business since the gym opened ten years ago. And both were physically fit, into their bodies, always respecting their clients. The gym looked chic with sleek lines of silver, black, white, and splashes of bright greens and oranges. Astroturf-like tile covered the floors. The gym had a pool, track, yoga rooms, private showers, and locker rooms. Every body type frequented the place: large, small, thick, and thin. The gym didn’t tolerate bullying or body shaming. Anyone caught doing such atrocities was kicked out
