Chapter 6: Intruder The temperature dropped in Pittsburgh to well below thirty, and ice formed on the roads once I left the gym. Wind kicked up, and wintertime flurries danced over the city limits. Feeling hungry after the workout, I ended up at a small vegan restaurant where I had squash soup and a side of green beans. Hidden among its patrons, I enjoyed my light meal, became warmed up, and decided to head home. My Tudor, a cramped abode with much character, sat on Spruce Street.
