The two brothers of the influential Caswell family could not be more opposite in terms of personality. The older brother, Leo, was cold, consistent, and kept a low profile. Meanwhile, the younger brother, Adam, was more playful and easy-going and was known to have a different girl on his arm every week.   Yesterday, Adam sent a message to a f*******: friend he wanted to meet, Rena Marsh. She agreed to meet him at Cafe Carrefour earlier that evening, but she accidentally met with his brother instead. If Adam hadn’t lost track of time hanging out with his friends at a bar, he would have been able to meet her. He watched Leo’s expression shift from hostile to pensive as he sat down on the sofa across from him.   “This belongs to her.”  Leo dangled a silver chain with a pearl pendant up for his brother to see.   “So, Rena is that little girl from Georgia,” Adam commented as he threw his hands behind his head. “You and she are destined to be together, so go and get her. Since you’ve never gotten a girlfriend, there are a lot of whispers that you’re gay.”   “Shut up!” Leo growled.    Adam backed down and turned his attention to his phone. Hello lovely, I am sorry about today, he messaged Rena.   When Rena returned to her apartment, she got a notification of a f*******: message on her phone. She had mixed feelings about it as she flopped down on her sofa to read it, the days events playing at the back of her mind.   A bouquet of lavender roses. A handsome man for a date. And even a child that clung to her leg. All of these things were lovely on the surface, but none of them were what they seemed.    The roses came from an arguing couple, her date was indifferent and cold, and the child was only lost. Rena was only able to experience these things for a brief moment in time, even though they were not perfect. And they certainly were not hers.    I am sorry too. I thought that the man who arrived was you, but it turned out that he was there for a blind date. I even managed to piss off the girl who was actually his date, she replied to the Prince.   And then what happened? He texted back.   The man asked me to marry him. Can you believe it?    Well, then don’t hold back. Go for it.   Rena snorted in derision. First of all, that’s not something you should ask a stranger, and second, he is too much of a playboy. I’m not a stupid little girl.   You’re not a little girl, eh? Then how old are you?   Nineteen and a half. I’ll be graduating from university in two months.   So, you went to university when you were fifteen, that’s impressive. You’re a prodigy, Rena, and I can’t wait to meet you.   I don’t think I’m a prodigy, but thank you for the compliment. And I look forward to it as well. Goodnight, Prince.
