Six

(Sir Oliver's POV) Oh, this is good. I sensed Lily's presence in the middle of our meeting and I just knew Adelia would be pissed. She didn't want the triplets or the twins to know anything that was happening. Always saying I can contain the threat, no reason to worry the kids. Does she not realize she was only ten years old when she needed to start learning her powers, how to fight and save the world? That girl is sneaky and smart. She literally absorbed her body into the wall. A whole new meaning to a fly on the wall. "Is that so? I think it may be too late for that now. I think little Lily learned a new trick", I said in amusement, as humor laced my every word. I was smiling ear to ear and honestly surprised no one else could notice her presence. Goddess help me here. There are three Gods in this room. Two advanced witches, a hybrid and a royal vampire. Seriously, none of them feel Lily? "What are you babbling on about dear?" Dara said in annoyance. She always tries to undermine what I say, though I love her dearly. I watch as Lily slowly separates herself from the wall and an echo of gasps fills the room. If they just listened a couple of seconds ago, no one would be shocked to be seeing her. Maybe still shocked about her coming out of a wall. "Hello mother." Lily said calmly, as she took in everything in the room. "So, who is this 'he'?" "Lily," Adelia gasped in surprise. Adelia opened her thoughts to everyone, 'How did she get here and how did she walk out of that wall like a ghost.' I see the majority of everyone nodding their head at Adelia's thoughts as they want to know too. Can they not see she is powerful and resourceful? She will do things none of us even imagined could be possible. Lily smiles as she looks at me, "Thanks Oliver. You are right, but I don't need you to boost my ego. Have you seen what I am capable of? I surpass all of you combined. It is amazing, right?" She c***s her head to the said and I know the question is retorical. This is why I taught her everything I knew. There was this pull towards her. Telling me she would achieve greatness or be the cause of our destruction. Her choice. "The whole wall thing is easy. I just see myself being absorbed by the wall and then move around freely. I learned that when I was six, by the way." Adelia looks with wide eyes at her and gasps like a fish out of water. Maybe she hasn't paid attention as much as she thought she did. Lily has surpassed every schooling, every training, every sport. How could someone not see how special she is? "Take a seat darling." I said as I pulled a seat at the table out for her. "Oli," Adelia warned as she glared at me. "Come on princess, you were out saving the world at ten. It is time. Lily wants to know about the threats and who is causing them. So tell her." I said as I backed up towards the wall. Lily sent me a grateful smile and I nodded in encouragement. "Who is he?" Lily asked sternly, demanding the attention of the room. Wow, look at her. She is starting to show that she may outrank her mother one day. Honestly, I could see her being our new Queen some day soon. I watch as they all glance around each other, mind linking and ignoring Lily's question. I push myself off the wall to go tell them to stop ignoring Lily but, I stopped in my steps as Lily stands up glaring at all of them. "How dare you mind link in front of me instead of including me in this meeting. I shouldn't have had to sneak in here, instead I should have been informed." Lily says angerily, as if she is ready to rip everyone's head off and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. "Sweetie, we are trying to protect you and your sisters." King Ace says calmly as he tries to grab her hand, but she yanks it away. "Protect us? How? By keeping us in the dark? You think that is protecting us?" Lily asked in sarcasm as she placed her hands on her hips. I step back slowly and lean back against the wall. She doesn't need my help here. She will put them in their place all by herself. I can feel her power radiating from her. "Lily, stop this right now." Alerious said sternly, as he tried to glare his daughter down and make her show respect. Though they didn't respect her enough to let her know of the dangers around her. "Stop what?" Lily said innocently, as if she had done nothing wrong and, honestly, I don't think her showing her strength is something to make her feel like she was doing wrong. "Lily," Antonio sighs. "My baby, you need to listen, okay?" "No daddy, I won't. Not this time. I have the right to know about any threat so I can keep my people, my siblings and myself safe." Lily says seriously, but with no threat underlining her words. "Listen Lily, you need to focus on your mate. Not this problem that your fathers and I can deal with," Adelia says, as she glares at her daughter for constantly having a response to all their answers. "ENOUGH MOTHER, I DON'T WANT A MATE AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT. NOW, I COMMAND YOU ALL TO TELL ME THE SITUATION WE ARE DEALING WITH." Lily demands, as her power is projected out of her, bringing everyone to their knees, even Adelia. Everyone is shocked, but not for long as the command makes everyone start explaining the threat we are dealing with. How did she do that? (Lily's POV) I got mad. No, that is an understatement. I was pissed. Nope, that isn't the right word for how I feel either. I am enraged, fuming, as if fire is boiling through my veins in every part of my body. I demanded for them all to tell me what was going on and tell me right now. After I am finished, the boiling feeling in my veins begins to cool down, almost as if it was all my imagination. What I wasn't imagining was how everyone in the room began to fall to their knees, as they bowed down to my voice. How did I do that? Right now, I don't even care though, because all I cared about was that I got everyone to start talking about the answers I needed. "Lily, sit down and we will tell you." Grandmother Selene sighed as if she didn't want to inform me but had no choice. I can't believe it, I just made a goddess do what I wanted. "Alright, the threat is from the dark forest. They seem to have a new leader." Gandfather Darius said slowly, looking at my mother for permission to continue. Why is he asking her? "Who?" I demanded as I glared at my grandfather. How dare he try to get out of this? They are going to tell me even if they don't want to. "Lily, we don't know who he is." Mother sighed, as if she was exhausted and over this conversation. I will see about that. As I go to stand up, so I can scream at them more. I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder. Sir Oliver? He nods at me to sit back down and I do. Let's see what he has to say. "Adelia, I know you don't want them knowing what is going on, but it seems she can keep ordering you to tell her, no matter how vague you try to be. Lily, it is true we don't know who the new leader is. Though we have suspicions the leader is probably a man, but it also may be a creature that we don't know about," Sir Oliver said as he looked at my mother. "What do you mean?" I asked curiously, causing his attention to shift to me. As he looked deep into my eyes. "Like a species we haven't come across before. Maybe a dragon - shifter or a mixed breed we have never encountered. Maybe a demon or an angel turned bad." Sir Oliver said as I heard my mother gasp in anger. Probably pissed that he told me. A creature we have never dealt with? I have never heard of those before. "A demon? Are they real? Angels? Dragon - shifters?" I asked, curious about why we had never heard of this before. Why hadn't mother and father told us of the possibility of other kinds of shifters? We have been suspicious of other types of creatures for a while now. We have had spottings of unique encounters, different looking species no one could identify, etc." Father Antonio said, as he stared at me, trying to gauge my reaction. I am fascinated but also pissed that they kept this from me. From all of us. My siblings all had the right to know about this. How dare they choose to keep this from us? "I am leaving." I exclaimed, as I stood from my seat and looked at them all indifferently. "Lily, you can't tell your siblings," Mother pleaded as she grabbed onto my arm. " Let go of my arm." I said, deadly calm, as I looked at her. She slowly released my arm, backing up towards father Ace. "I will tell whoever I please because we all have the right to know and I will protect my siblings the way I see fit." With that, I left.
