(Adelia's POV) Where do I start? Well, it has been sixteen years since I gave birth to our beautiful triplets. They have grown so much. During that time, we gave birth to twin boys, Lance and Lee. They are rambunctious and sneaky little boys. They both have straight white as snow hair, pale skin and light gray eyes. They are identical and they like to act like each other, so you can't tell them apart. They have these big doe eyes that make you melt, making it hard to discipline them. The girls like to blame them for things and then the twins take the blame. Admitting fully it was them even after we caught the girls doing it. Those five know how to play the game. It's crazy really. For all three of them to have different fathers, but all look the same none the less. The guys always say that they are my double, but I don't see it. All three girls have high cheek bones, a little button nose, rosy plump lips, and a sun - kissed tan on their skin. That is where their similarities stop though. Lobelia, my first born, and Ace and I's daughter. She has short strawberry blonde curly hair with icy blue eyes that look like they can stare straight into your soul. Lavender, who is Alerious and I's daughter. She has long curly black hair with bright violet eyes that look almost crystallized. Then our last, Lily, who is Antonio and I's daughter. She has medium - length white curly hair, though she likes to keep it in a bun and neon green eyes that pierce through any lie with one look. We have had a concern that the triplets may not be goddesses. They didn't go through the transformation that I did. They haven't found their mates yet. They also don't show the signs of the powers I developed. Lobelia has a Werewolf and vampire gene that shines in her. Lavender has a Werewolf and witch gene. You can tell she loves doing the spells, especially in wolf form. Lily, though, has a Werewolf and witch gene, though she is different. She is stronger than the other girls, it's almost as if she has a hint of Goddess in her. Though why would she and not the others? Why is Lily different? Lawrence has been glued to the triplets' side since they were born. He is their protector. They have a connection that none of us feel. It is beautiful seeing them together. As if he is their protective big brother. He also fights their fights for them. For instance, like right now. "Girls." I exclaimed, exhausted from arguing about the same thing over and over. "Queen Adelia, the triplets don't need to leave the safety of...." That is all Lawrence gets out before I cut him off. "First, Lawrence, it's Adelia and you know that. Second, this has no concern of yours. I am allowing you to tag a long with them, but if you keep arguing against myself and their fathers, I will make you stay here." I threatened with a stern voice. Lawrence gulped and walked over to the corner. Leaving my mates and I to talk to our girls. Once he could start pronouncing words, he stopped calling me ya ya and started calling me, Queen. Why? Who knows about that boy? He is a mystery to the majority of us. "Girls..." Ace began, but our sassy little Lily cuts him off. "Mother was speaking. You don't have the right to cut her off," Lily said sternly as she glared at Ace. These are my kids folks. "Lily Blood, you will not speak to your father like that." I exclaimed, making her flinch at my tone and nod in understanding. All the kids, Antonio and I changed our last names to blood, with Ace and Alerious already being that. We agreed it was for the best. We have had the girls all raised to understand that Alerious, Ace and Antonio are their fathers. Felix and Olive chose the uncle's position. They didn't want to explain why two of their fathers only visited once a week instead of living with them and I agree. "Alright, now you three WILL be leaving tonight. You will travel the whole Kingdom, to the other colonies that have formed under me and you WILL stay away from the dark forest. I want you three safe but I also need you to venture out and find your mates. You three are sixteen, it is time." "I am not going and you can't make me. I am old enough to make my own decisions, mother. I am happy here and I don't need a mate, I don't want one. Do you understand that?" Lily sassed in annoyance. I could feel the waves of frustration and anger rolling off of her. She can come off as rude with her fierce, strong - headed and aggressive personality. "LILY BLOOD, you had better watch the way you speak to your mother," Antonio sternly told her. "It will be okay, I think it may be fun. Think about the bright side, Lily, we can do whatever we want without our parents telling us we can't." Lavender whispers in a mousy voice. She hates confrontation. She always tries to mediate the situation and calm others down. "Well, I wouldn't go that far. We are not letting you do whatever you want. There are rules." Antonio said calmly. He knows how to handle Lily the best. Seems to always be on her good side. "I think it will be fun. I mean, we can meet a whole bunch of guys and find our one and only soul mate. Doesn't that sound dreamy?"Lobelia says as she spaces out with dazed eyes. Dreaming about the impossible again. She thinks everything is a rainbow and sunshine. It is crazy how all three of my girls have such different personalities. This trip of theirs should be fun. I know just how to make them all agree to go. I just have to play them against each other. "Well, if you don't all agree to go, then no one will go and you will never find your happy ever after." I said with fake sadness, as if they weren't going. I will make them go one way or another, even if I have to kick them out. "What?!?!" Lobelia exclaimed, snapping out of her daze. "Lily, please. you can't do this to me. I want to find my mate, I need my mate. I want a happily ever after. Why do you have to ruin it?" "Lily, it won't be that bad and you don't have to find your mate. All we have to do is travel to find Lobelia's mate. She deserves to have her dream." Lavender whispered. I felt calming waves being pushed around the room. Realizing my little witch is trying to calm the room down. She's smart even if she's more to herself than anyone else. I see the plea in her eyes, as she tries to reason with her sister. "That was a low blow mother," Lily sighed in annoyance. "f**k, fine. I will go. Are you all happy now?" "Do not curse, young lady. We have taught you better, but yes, I am happy. Lawrence will accompany you. Enjoy girls."I smiled and walked out of the room, with my mates following me. It will be exciting to see where this adventure takes them. I don't want them to just find their mates, I want them to discover themselves and become stronger as a group. "Do you think they will be okay by themselves?" Alerious asked. "Yeah, look at all the things we went through." Ace said worriedly, agreeing with Alerious. He is comparing the world back then to now. We have made this world safer together. "Guys," I said as I turned at them, love shining in my eyes for my mates. " Lawrence will be with them and they will be together. Plus, the world is safer since we have taken over. They will be safe together. Let them try. They know to stay out of the dark forest and that is the only place I wouldn't feel safe with them going." Over the last sixteen years we have had very little confrontation. I have had species feel it is more appropriate to raise their young in colonies instead of in our big kingdom. So, I allowed them to form colonies with leaders I trusted to run them. I have had no issues with them at all. Though there have been species deciding they don't want to follow under my rule and going rogue, crazy in sorts. They have taken off to the dark forest and they kill anyone who enters, claiming the land as their own. If anyone goes into the dark forest, they never come back out. We have received threats from them for the last ten years but no action behind them. That is one place I will never allow my children to go to. The guys nod, agreeing with my reasoning and placing their trust in our girls. It is time they left the nest.
