Jakob's pov
After I woke up from my second nap today I mind-linked Aspen and asked if she had gone to pick up the results for me. She Mind-linked me back and said she had picked up the results and she would bring them to me tomorrow. I told her thank you and Called the Kitchen to send up dinner for Anna and I. When Ember came up Anna was awake and they chatted for a few minutes before Ember had to go back down to the kitchen. Anna said she was sorry that we couldn't go down and eat with everyone else and I told her it was ok and I was eating with the one person who mattered to me the most. She smiled and said,
"Keep sweet talking me and I will push all this food off the bed and make you take me again right now." I laughed and said I'll take you whenever and where ever you want sweetheart all you have to do is say it and your wish is my command.
Anna started laughing and I said but I think you need to refuel before you start making those wishes baby. We both busted out laughing and sat there and finished eating. Anna asked me if Aspen had gone and picked up the results yet and I nodded and said she would be bringing them to me tomorrow. We laid there and started watching tv, It was a while after dinner before I had to cool Anna down again and I think that is a sign that it may be ending soon. After 2 rounds Anna was out like a light and I mind-linked Hardin and asked him to come down for a chat. I put some shorts on and stood out by the door and waited on him. When I saw him come around the corner from the stairs he started laughing at me and asked if I was ready to run away yet. I laughed and said it hasn't been that bad today and she is knocked out right now. He asked what was up and I asked him about the gap between cooldowns and he said for Aspen that's when they know she is coming off of her heat and that she usually makes him sleep on the couch or she will for a day or 2 after. I laughed at him and said well if Anna does that to me at least I have another room to go to. I can just sleep in her room. He raised his brow and said,
" has she said when she wants to fully move in?" I told him she had and that I was prolonging it until I propose to her.
He asked how I was prolonging it and I told him I kept telling Anna that I would talk to him about expanding my room and that he hasn't said anything yet about me expanding my room so she could move in. He looked at me and called me an A**.
I told him another reason I wanted to talk to him was because of the results and he said,
"I promise we haven't opened them, bro." I said I trusted him and Aspen but I wanted Aspen to wait until tomorrow night before she gives them to me and he said he would tell her, he then asked why and I told him that right now Anna is more important and that was something that could wait. I told him I appreciated everything he and Aspen had been doing to help me and he told me to stop and that, that was what family was for. I gave him a hug and told him to get back upstairs to his woman.
Annalynn's pov
I woke up and saw Jakob sitting on the loveseat, I asked if he was ok and he said he was fine. I told him I wanted to snuggle and he crawled back in bed with me and we snuggled for a while. I started getting hot again and Jakob suggested we go to the shower this time. After 2 rounds in the shower, I still wasn't cooling off so Jakob took me on the bathroom counter, the floor in our room, and had me do something new which was bent over the coffee table. I finally cooled off after the coffee table and decided I needed a bath to try and ease some of the soreness. When I got out of the tub I went back into the bedroom and Jakob was passed out on his stomach on the bed. I giggled at how he was laying and crawled up on the love seat and prayed I stayed cool for a while so Jakob could get some rest. I turned the tv on and watched a few of my favorite shows. I fell asleep on the love seat and when I woke up, Jakob was snoring in the same position he was when I got out of the tub and it was daylight. I figured since I was still cool I would let him sleep as long as he could. I called Ember and asked if she could bring up some fresh fruits, orange juice, and pancakes in about an hour and she said she would. She asked how I was feeling and I told her It's been hours since I needed Jakob to cool me down and she told me that's how she knew she was close to the end of her heat. She said I should be done with it in a day or 2. When we got off the phone I opened up Jakob's balcony windows and walked out. I don't think he has been out here once since we've been living together. I walked out to the end of the balcony and looked out into the backyard and took a deep breath. It's peaceful outside right now and I think I needed some peace this morning. I sat down on one of the chairs and just stared out into the woods for a while. I had been outside for about 30 minutes when I heard giggling coming from the side of the packhouse. I stood up to see if I could see who it was and I wish I hadn't of. It was Colette and 2 male pack members. I cringed at the thought of what they could have been doing. I started to get annoyed just looking at her and I did something I probably shouldn't have done I leaned over the balcony and said Hey guys unless you want to end up with baby mama drama and end up with a pup that wasn't planned I suggest you stay away. That caught their attention and the guys looked up and one of them said thanks and they took off in the other direction. Colette looked up at me and said,
"What is your problem? I am not all up in your s*x life with my son's father so why are you all up in mine?"
I said I don't care about what you do in your s*x life outside of my pack but what you do in my pack I have a right to be in. You are nothing but a wh*re and I will not stand by and watch another person end up trapped with you because of an unplanned pregnancy. These young men have no idea what you are really like and are just giving you the time of day since you are easy. If it weren't for Kellan your trashy ass would have already been gone!
Colette said, " First of all little girl this isn't your pack this is Alpha Hardin's pack and it's not up to you as to who I am sleeping with unless it's your mate. You need to mind your own business and stay the f*ck out of mine."
I started laughing and said you obviously don't get how our pack works. Just because Hardin is the Alpha doesn't mean this isn't my pack as well as his. I am the daughter of the former Alpha and the Current Alpha's sister. That's right I am Alpha blood, not just the little sis because this pack has been my home my whole life. I have just as much influence over this pack as my brother. I suggest you take the wh*ring to the streets outside my home's gates. What I did next was for fun, I said I've enjoyed our little chat Ms.Trash but it's time for me to wake my mate up and do what you wish he would do with you. As soon as I finished what I was saying, Jakob walked out and said,
" Anna, come back inside sweetheart. Thank you for letting me sleep a little I am good to go now if you want more baby."
I heard Colette huff and I started laughing. Jakob asked what was so funny and I said did you say that so Colette would hear you? Jakob looked at me confused and said,
"What do you mean so Colette could hear me?"
I said you didn't know I was out here arguing with Colette when you walked out? Jakob said,
"no baby I didn't I just woke up and saw you out here. What? why were you arguing with Colette?"
I told him everything that went on and he said he was going to talk to Hardin about her and sleeping around with the pack members. When we went back inside there was a knock on the door and Jakob raised his brow. I said it's Ember bringing up breakfast. We sat down and ate everything she brought up for us and ended up going 3 rounds before I took a nap.
