Son Of God?
"If that's the case, then for now, could you provide me with whatever your branch has?" Ron said with a smile.
The manager nodded and walked out of the VIP room.
"Master, why do you have The Treasure House's Medal of Potential?" After the manager left the room, a shocked Elias asked Ron.
Medal of Potential? What was that? Ron looked at Elias with a confused expression.
Upon seeing Ron's expression, Elias immediately knew that the Son of God was completely clueless about the item that he had just used. So he explained. "The Medal of Potential is something only direct members of The Treasure House can possess. Every member of The Treasure House has a medal like this in his or her possession. It is only when they meet someone with extremely great potential that they give such a medal like this away. With a medal like this, any branch of The Treasure House will give the person in possession of this medal the greatest assistance possible to help them develop and grow. Many people who possess such medals are powerhouses who have made great names for themselves on the continent. They once received the help and kindness of The Treasure House when they were still weak and powerless. But they grew up and became strong, and now most of them will step forth to help The Treasure House to repay The Treasure House for its kindness. This is also why the Treasure House has been able to grow into an influential power. It knows how to identify and recruit powerhouses with great potential!"
When Ron heard this explanation, he was enlightened. He smiled and said, "I get it. It seems like I was identified as a powerhouse with great potential quite some time ago."
Elias shook his head and solemnly said, "I never heard that there was a Son of God with such great potential in the world."
Not long after, the manager brought the things that Ron needed all stored in a space ring. Ron did not bother taking a closer look and simply tossed the ring over to Cramer. He believed that by owning a Medal of Potential, The Treasure House would not charge him fraudulently. So he handed his purple credit card to the manager and had him withdraw the amount that he owed. Then, he left The Treasure House. Since he had become the Son of God of the Hall of Wealth, Ron no longer held much importance in the worth of gold coins.
When Ron arrived back at his mansion, he heard boisterous voices coming from inside.
"Angoli killed the most skeletons! No one can take credit for Angoli's hard work and contributions!"
"You are just a barbaric dead soul who only knows how to scream and yell! The one who killed the most skeletons is clearly our dear Ace, while you are like a chariot, bumping your way around haphazardly!"
"You all seem to pay no heed to the fact that I wield the power of fire, which enables me to burn everything!" "So long as… I… welcome… death!"
"A bunch of fools!"
Ron laughed with delight. It seemed that the dead souls at home were getting along really well.
Ghorst, on the other hand, was dismissed by Ron before he could even take a step into the mansion. He made himself invisible, then floated away in the direction of Victory Academy.

"What are you?" Harrington looked warily at the handsome man, who looked quite attractive in a black cloak, in front of him. This man had appeared in his office out of nowhere, so suddenly and subtily that even someone who possessed legendary strength like Harrington had failed to notice his presence.
"My great master has sent me here to bring you news. I believe there is no need for me to elaborate on the identity of my master, who is the Son of God," Ghorst said coldly to the wary Harrington. A flash was seen in the space ring in Ghorst's hand. Then, Ron's proof of enrollment appeared and was tossed over to Harrington.
"Master wishes to know what exactly the Chiziere family wants from you."
Harrington was still wary as he picked up the proof of enrollment. After a close look, he sighed in relief, but when he raised his head, the frown in his face was much deeper than before. "I don't know what you are talking about. Tell your master that he might be the Son of God, but there are some things that even he should not be interfering with. Please also ask him to remember what I told him before!"
Ghorst sneered and said, "What a coincidence. Master has also sent me here to convey some words to you. The Hall of Wealth may not be able to interfere with every matter in Victory Academy, but it has many other ways to pull the entire academy, Cruz, and even you down into the deepest abyss! All he wants to know is the
truth."
At those words, Harrington fell silent. Once again, he had been successfully threatened by Ron.
"The philosopher's stone?"
"That's all that Harrington told me. He said you would understand. That guy is a big fan of riddles." Helplessly, Ron looked toward the three old men in his mansion.
Jarrett frowned and said, "It's something legendary!"
"I heard it is able to open the gates of the ancient battlefield!" Chasworth chimed in.
"Fancy that! The philosopher's stone actually exists,"
Elias marveled.
Realization dawned on Ron. Now, he knew that what the Chiziere family wanted was the philosopher's stone. A legendary item such as the philosopher's stone was indeed worth investing this amount of effort. From what he could remember, legend had it that a very, very long time ago, there had been a battle that took the world to the brink of Armageddon, a war that concerned the living beings of the entire continent, and that's where the stone had been created, on an ancient battlefield.
The fact that the Chiziere family spent so many years trying to get their hands on the philosopher's stone meant that the only way they could possibly obtain the philosopher's stone was for one of them to become a dean. It also proved one other thing: the Chiziere family did not know the location of the ancient battlefield. Otherwise, they would already have done everything they could to get the philosopher's stone.
"Oh? Philosopher's stone? I seem to have heard something interesting!" Mira slowly took form in front of the crowd. "Eh? Ron, you're already up to Rank-4?" Mira's eyes widened in shock, her long eyelashes fluttering as she exclaimed, "And these highly-ranked dead souls are all Rank-9 now? How did you do it?"
"Greetings to the richest and most luxurious Goddess in the world, who has graced Earth with your presence!" Except for Ron and his dead souls, everyone else bowed reverentially to Mira.
Mira did not even look at them. Her attention was fixed on Ron with curiosity.
Ron smiled and said, "Goddess, time will help you become more insightful, won't it?"
"Crafty fellow, you are eating at my curiosity and embedding deep marks on my chariot!" Frowning slightly at the mention of eating, Dade said, "Have I missed some of Cramer's tantalizing delicacies?"
Cramer shook his head at and said, "It is not time for dinner yet. What would you like to eat today, goddess?"
Mira's eyes lit up and she said, "I've brought ingredients!"
