He's a little Spendthrift huh

SETH'S POINT OF VIEW

The talk with Viv ended at 3 AM and now it's almost 10 AM, when I went out of the room butler Clark or other maids are not around. The house, I mean the mansion is quiet, unlike previous days. Where could they be?

I just shrug it off and went to the dining while yawning only to freeze on the kitchen's entrance and came face-to-face with Sun. Placing a plate on the table. With an apron. Half-naked.

... Hot ...

Oh... He looked surprised seeing me too. I wonder how I look at his perspective right now? Are the shock and surprise of seeing him like that visible on my face?

We were staring at each other when Clark emerged from the kitchen. "Master Seth! Good morning!"

Is it just me or he's unusually enthusiastic today?

"Good morning," I greeted back politely with an unconscious nod of my head. I turned to Sun then looked away because he's still looking at me. "G-Good morning too,"

My heart is beating so fast because of embarrassment. I recall what Viv told me that I unconsciously trust him. If I unconsciously trust him, how unconscious is that unconscious? Ugh. I'm gonna go mad.

Sun's face beamed before he grinned, "Morning!" I don't know if I'm imagining this because I just woke up but there seems to be a spotlight around him to highlight his entire being. As if saying, 'this is Sun, now bathe in his hotness!'. What the heck am I thinking? "I prepared brunch for us, come here Seth. Come, come..." He gestured for me to him but, I think there was something wrong about how he called me and his tone.

... pet?

He... He sounded like he's calling his pet! I often heard my neighbor call her dog like that! That exact and similar tone!

Ahh... What am I even so stressed about? He must be clueless too just like how clueless he is when he points out something. Something like, for example, he has more money than me or about my apar being small. He doesn't sound mocking or insulting though. It sounded plain, as-a-matter-of-factly even, it rolled out of his mouth naturally without a second thought. He must be unaware that other people might misunderstand whenever he points out things like that straightforwardly.

"I will go ahead, Young Master, Master Seth," Clark excused himself with a slight bow.

There's still no sign of the other workers in the mansion. What's happening?

"Where are the maids and other butlers?" I asked not being able to contain my curiosity.

Sun smiled at me before placing the eggs on my plate with the toasted bread. My eyes widen. "I had all of them off today," All of them?!

Not only did he had all of them on day off but what's more shocking is he's serving me!

I couldn't move a finger or stop him, I'm too surprised to even complain!

Sun smiled again after successfully putting portions of bacon, eggs, and toasted bread on my table with fresh apple juice.

This... How could an alpha and the master of this house do this? And for someone like me?!

I slightly shake my head and cleared my throat. There's no point in complaining since he's done it already, still, I was too surprised. "Thank you..."

"Hm!"

Ugh! Too bright. His smile is too bright it's unfair. For an alpha, he's too carefree, though I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Could this be the reason why I unconsciously trust him? Because he's not as frightening as the others? I wonder...

"So, uh, don't you have somewhere you need to go? I can go with you! I'm free today, all day!" He said all of a sudden sounding excited, there goes his smile again but this time his smile looked uncertain.

Somewhere? Is there somewhere I have to go today?

I shake my head when I remember that I don't have to go anywhere today. "But I have something to ask you, if you don't—"

"— I don't!" He quickly cut me off surprising me at how his voice slightly rose. He must have realized because he looked away too with a little tinge of red visible on his ears. Is he embarrassed? Pfft! How cute! "I don't... I don't mind, you may ask me anything."

"Okay..." I cleared my throat and looked down to hide the smile I tried so hard to reign but still formed because of how embarrassed he looks right now. "I need to have a space where I can stream but the room looks... too extravagant. I'd like to ask if it's fine if I redecorate a space in the room. If it's... okay with you..." I trailed off looking at him.

Sun suddenly chuckles while chewing. Ah, how handsome... Oh, I have to focus. Dang!

"You can do whatever you want to do in this mansion. I told you that already, didn't I?"

"You did?" I blurted. Blah! I looked away and abruptly gobble the bacon down. Sheesh!

Sun chuckled again. "I did. So you weren't paying attention huh,"

I glance at him before I look away. "I'm sorry, I can't remember..." Damn. Did he really tell me that? Ah, even if he did I don't have the guts to do whatever I want with this huge mansion. It's already beautiful as it is so I don't see the need to renovate or change anything.

"Anyway, why don't you use one of the rooms near yours? Or we could renovate your room and make a room solely for streaming. How about a room adjacent next to yours and use that for streaming?"

He sounded excited more than me. I couldn't help but smile at how enthusiastic he is. "If that's what you think is better. We'll need to redecorate the room next to mine then?"

He nodded his head. "Yes. I will have some of my men remove the door of that room and have the door in your room instead. What do you think?"

"I think that sounds convenient."

"Right!"

We continued talking about the room that I completely forgot how awkward I was with him before. Talking to Sun right now felt natural and comfortable. I don't feel that I have to start a conversation or anything just so we won't feel awkward. It was... refreshing. It felt nice.

Just as we finished talking we also finished eating at the same time so I offered to wash the dishes. I've been feeling this ever since I started living in this mansion, I felt useless! I have nothing else to do besides eating and then sleeping in my room because all the chores are done by the maids and I'm not used to it! I lived alone in my apartment which means I'm used to doing house chores but in this mansion, I feel like a cripple! It's frustrating so starting today I'll start doing what I usually do.

"You done?" Sun asked peeking from outside. I nodded while wiping my hands. Sun and I moved to the living room where Clark is waiting.

"Young Master, I opened the website according to what you ordered and messaged the manager," Clark informed Sun while I'm scrolling my phone of the newest comments on my book. I also set an event on the page for the live stream and other necessary information needed.

May I should increase the giveaways? They were waiting for too long for the livestream so increasing the giveaways is only right.

What should I giveaway though? Money? Gift cards maybe? Maybe I should just order online than going out.

"Seth look at this, I think this will be perfect for your streaming room." He turned the laptop in my direction while smiling suggestively. He's shopping online for a desk. It's simple, I personally like it.

"You think this is sturdy?" I glanced at him.

Sun just shrugs. "We could buy a new one if it's not." Well yeah, what am I supposed to expect from someone bathing with money.

"Sun, in terms of things like these you need to buy one that will last for a long time. It's a waste of money and time buying a new one just because the former one is not sturdy enough. Be practical." I advised not to being able to stop myself. I don't know how rich he is but it doesn't feel right wasting money over these no matter how much I think about it. Ah! I'm used to saving money so maybe that's why I'm so affected.

Sun stared at me for a couple of seconds before nodding his head. "I understand. I will keep that in mind. But," Of course, "money is not a problem, Seth. Please remember that. You can spend as much as money as you want." Then he grinned, "you're my wife after all."

That sounds tempting, thank you very much. I mean, I wish I have the actual guts to do what he said but right now, no matter how tempted I am, I can't. Hopefully not yet.

Ah! What am I thinking?

I let Sun do what he wants while he would ask for my opinion and preference for things he wanted to buy until...

"Oh, the total is $100,000 huh,"

Huh... Huh.... HUH?!!!

My eyes widen while Sun looked nonchalant. As if he spent one dollar! As if it's nothing!

"What did you buy?!" I exclaimed.

Sun turned to me then smiled. "Nothing much. I bought a desk for you and other kinds of stuff like a small table, a small fridge, oh! I also bought you all that was on the recommendation page. I saw a notebook in there so I'm sure it'll be useful for you."

Ah... I think I turned deaf for a few seconds. Haha, he bought everything that was on the recommendation page. How lucky those shops were. Damn... I wanted to tell Sun what he did was unnecessary but with the way how his face is shinning while he smiles, I don't think I can.

He bought those for me. Hays...

"T-thanks..." I stuttered.

His face glowed. Again. "You're welcome! Aha, I also ordered complete streaming set for you. From the lighting to the monitor. There's an extra set too, look!"

I gulped before I turned to Sun to reprimand him but...

I swiftly turned in Clark's direction only to see him looking like usual. Butler-like. Expressionless and composed but... I knew it was him who stifle his laughter.

Clark slightly bowed at me. Ah... He wants to pretend like I didn't know it was him. Okay then. Let's pretend.

My eyes widen when I heard a clicking sound from Sun.

"Ah...! Why don't we watch videos?! I saw a funny one last night! It was hilarious! Really!" I blurted grabbing the laptop from him and closing the tab and opened Youtube. s**t. Sun shopping online is dangerous, very, very dangerous.

"Pfft...!"

That was Clark, I'm sure of it. He must have seen how panicked I was when Sun continued clicking, I'm sure he's buying stuff again.

I didn't know Sun is this much of a spendthrift!

If Viv were with me I'm sure she would have fainted. That stingy woman.

Maybe I should start teaching Sun how to save money?

I spent the entire day with Sun, mostly stopping him from venturing on to online shops because apparently when Sun finds something interesting or new, especially those that 'common people' use which he doesn't, Sun tends to buy it! Regardless of the price and quantity! Just like instant noodles, instant coffee which he has no clue that exists! Ugh!

Anyway, it was fun watching his expressions whenever I explain to him. Once the things Sun bought are delivered the renovation will start.

Group chat huh. Without a doubt, those people are included too. Ah, now I regret that I agreed on joining that reunion. It'd be better if I meet Ma'am Reyes and Sir Ethan alone than being with them. Hays. It can't be helped since I agreed, as much as I'd like to take my word back I couldn't because it was Axel I talked with.

Hmm... I sounded too polite but I guess it's fine since we're not that close for me to speak informally with him and I'm also not comfortable although Axel is perfectly fine talking informally with me. Up until now, he's still like that huh. I envy how easy for him to start a conversation and how he can lighten the atmosphere, that's how approachable Axel is.

Ah! I haven't informed Sun about this! I completely forgot, I'll have to inform him tomorrow but for now I should sleep. I didn't know stopping someone from shopping, ah, hoarding online could be exhausting.
