“I hate them!” I seethed crossly as my best friend Kate bounded through the door behind me. She pursed her lips together and sat next to me on my big double bed. “At least you still have your parents, Bella.” She looked down at her hands as she twiddle them together. I could see she was about to cry. I felt horrible at that moment. I put an arm around her and sighed. She was right. I was lucky to have my parents still but they were driving me mad with their lack of encouragement for what I wanted to do with my own life. I did not ask to be born into an alpa or Luna family. “They just want what’s best for you.” Kate told me giving me a warm smile. “They worry too much, I mean it can’t be that bad out there can it, surely.” I got up and looked out of my window at the acres of forest
