The Coffe

Max throws the chair in annoyance. It's been almost a year of struggle with no results. Allotted time is running out. It cannot fail. His reputation could be ruined. He had to find the laboratory as soon as possible. "Looks like you're still a failure," scolded the long-haired woman who had just arrived in front of Max. She put a backpack on the chair next to where she was sitting. "I have to admit that this is beyond my expectations. Really, it's not as easy as I thought. Steven is very smart. If I could blow up that house. I would," said Max. The long-haired girl laughed. A few minutes later her laughter turned into a cold stare. "I'm already annoyed. I've given you freedom in this task. I think this is worth what we will get. But my patience is running out. Don't forget that I am your lover," said the girl. Jealousy looks real. "I know. No one can replace you. Those two are just tools on this mission." Max grabbed the long haired woman's hand. "Okay. I can't stay here long. Everyone's stares are annoying," said the long-haired woman, glancing in all directions. Some of the cafe patrons were looking at him cynically. Max realized. Physically, Max and the long-haired woman in front of him looked very different. Max looked to be in his twenties while the woman before him was in her forties. "Just ignore them," Max said. "You're easy to talk to. Because thanks to Steven you are so young like this. If only they all knew your real age ..." The woman drank a cup of coffee gracefully, then got up and left Max. A backpack was left on the chair. Max took the backpack and checked its contents. All according to his request. Max immediately paid the bill and then chose to leave the place. Max got into the bus and looked out the window. It appears that a large videotron-type billboard screen is broadcasting a government program about future developments. Especially in the health sector. A health minister said in a short speech about the program. Max smiled faintly at that. Soon he arrived at the residential area. Max casually went down to Steven's house. Some of the neighbors looked at him with astonished eyes, but Max ignored them all. He entered the house as if nothing had happened. "Wait," suddenly the old woman who lived not far from the house stopped Max. "You're a boyfriend of Jennifer. I just wanted to ask where the girl has been for the past few days. I haven't seen her at all." Max was very annoyed. Jennifer is indeed very kind and cares about her neighbors. She often visited the grandmother once a few days with some food. "She's out of the country. The next time I call I'll tell him that you miss him," Max said. Grandma looked very happy. "Thank you. Jennifer is lucky to have a good man like you. She is a very beautiful and kind mute girl." After saying that, the granny immediately left. Max went straight into the house before other neighbors asked where Jennifer was. "That girl is very troublesome." Max was very upset. He immediately went to the living room and took out the contents of the backpack he was carrying. The contents of the backpack consisted of sophisticated tools commonly used by many spy agencies. Max immediately took a small robot in the form of a mouse that has the ability to track the existence of a secret room. The rat can be controlled using a cell phone. The device is so expensive, that it becomes the last alternative that Max uses if his efforts to find Steven's secret laboratory don't work. Max pressed the 'on' button on the body of the mouse robot. There was a soft sound of the engine running. The mouse's eyes are bright red. Simultaneously, the phone in Max's hand also lit up. There is a screen display showing a captured image from the robot mouse's eye point of view. Max smiled faintly. He will operate the robot mouse. But the sound of a car stopping in front of the house made Max immediately turn off the robot mouse and put it back in its place. Max put the backpack in a place where Janeth couldn't go. Then he immediately went to the living room. "Already home from work?" asked a neighbor. "Yes." Janeth's voice was heard. Max peeked through the window. He saw Janeth talking briefly to the neighbor who greeted her. Max could see Janeth's expression changing as she headed home. Janeth looked annoyed and depressed. "What happened to you?" Max asked. "I can't take it anymore. We have to move out of here. I'm getting more and more impatient every day. The neighbors are starting to suspect us." Janeth's eyes started to water. "Just say it's as we planned. Jennifer's out of the country with her new boyfriend. She left me." Max again repeated the reasons they agreed upon together. "I've said it, but they don't believe it. Where there is a blind girl who can have an affair with someone else," said Janeth. She went into her room and closed the door hard. Max punched the wall. He couldn't stand Janeth anymore. He was also bored with the girl. But Max's mission has not been successful. He had to endure a little longer. Max immediately went to the kitchen. One of the best ways to calm an upset and depressed woman is to pamper her. Janeth must not have eaten. Max will make dinner that will make Janeth forget the things that make her feel uncomfortable. Max immediately busied himself with cooking activities. It took half an hour for all the dishes to be ready on the table. As expected Janeth had come out of her room. Smelling the delicious aroma of food, Janeth went straight to the kitchen and stared at the delicious looking dinner in front of her. "Sit down, you must be hungry," said Max, placing the plate in front of Janeth. Seeing all of Max's kindness, Janeth's feelings became touched. She felt guilty for her previous behavior. "I'm sorry for always being angry and out of control," Janeth said. "Forget it. I believe you're a strong girl. You're not wrong, got it!" Max took Janeth's hand. "That old lady just misses Jennifer. You've already told me where she went. It's up to them to believe it or not." Janet nodded. She quickly chose food and ate it. The most delicious Max food. Max once told me that he had been working in restaurants and cafes for a long time. So it's only natural that Max's cooking is on par with restaurant food. "What if one day we have our own restaurant or cafe. You cook, I look after the cashier and take orders," said Janeth. "Wow, great idea. You're an amazing girl, Janeth. I love you," Max said, kissing Janeth's forehead. Janet smiled. After dinner, Max took Janeth to watch a movie on TV. The two of them watched a comedy that made Janeth laugh. They were both so happy that the night was getting late. "I'm sleepy," said Janeth. "Go to sleep, you must be very tired. You have to work tomorrow too." Janeth immediately went to the room. Meanwhile Max went to the kitchen. He put on his gloves and started cleaning the table and dirty dishes. After that Max made coffee and drank it. After that Max left the house. He looked around. The atmosphere is so quiet. Without hesitation Max headed for the old lady's house. He knocked on the door. "Who?" heard an old woman's voice. Open door. "I'm Max. I can't sleep thinking about you. Jennifer usually sees you often. But she..." Max was very sad. "Gosh. I still can't believe that blind girl cheated on you and left you. Come on in..." Max followed the woman into the house. He saw family photos and the atmosphere of the house. "Did your son never come?" Max asked, pulling out a scalpel. "No. His wife just gave birth. Maybe next month they will come." "Good. That's better," Max said. In one strike he had killed the old woman. "Have a good rest. A meddlesome woman like you should rest early. So as not to disturb the locals. You understand." Max smiled faintly.
