Broken Twins

It seemed like only yesterday that Jennifer had been so happy since Janeth had graduated and earned her bachelor's degree. Today she is happy again knowing Janeth has been accepted to work in a big company. To celebrate the success of her twin sister, Jennifer intends to throw a simple party tonight. Therefore she immediately went to the supermarket to buy various foodstuffs for party purposes. Jennifer had already texted Janeth and Max to have dinner at home. Since everyone was busy working, they rarely had dinner together. Especially Max, Jennifer's boyfriend. In the last few months since moving jobs, Max rarely eats at home and texts Jennifer. Even though she feels uncomfortable with Max's change in attitude, she doesn't want to express hir feelings for fear that Max will be burdened and disturbed. Jennifer immediately got on the bus. As soon as she sat by the window of the bus, Jennifer saw two women. One of them looks sad and the other cheers. Seeing the sight made Jennifer remember their past. At that time, when they returned home, Jennifer and Janeth did not see their parents. Food is not on the table. Even though usually when their parents leave, the food will be ready on the table. When contacted both cellphones are also not active. Jennifer had a bad feeling in her heart. She was sure something had happened to her parents, but Jennifer was trying to be calm for Janeth's sake. She cooked pasta for their dinner. "Jennifer, do you know where those two went?" Janeth asked. Jennifer shook her head. She smiled and asked Janeth to focus on the food and finish it. Jennifer desperately wanted to calm Janeth, but she was just a mute girl who could only speak by hand code. They are both identical twins. Their faces and bodies are the same, but Jennifer is mute and a small mole on Jennifer's nose is the difference between the two. After the food was finished, Jennifer immediately washed the dirty dishes. While Janeth sat in front of the television. Janeth is lazy and spoiled. Meanwhile, Jennifer tries to do her best to compensate for her shortcomings. That's when the house phone rang. Janeth immediately picked it up. Jennifer's premonitions were bad and right, Janeth cried out in tears. Jennifer immediately left her job and went to meet Janeth. She immediately hugged Janeth and rubbed her back. With sobs Janeth said their parents had an accident and died in hospital. Jennifer hugged Janeth tighter. Tears fell from her eyes, but she wiped them away. Then Jennifer stubbornly wiped Janeth's tears and took her twin sister to the hospital. The two of them immediately rushed to the hospital. The police immediately greeted them and escorted the two to the morgue to identify the truth of their identities. When both arrived in front of two corpses covered in white cloth. Janeth refused to confirm the identity of the two, but Jennifer confirmed it herself. She walked over to the two bodies and looked directly at their faces. Tears immediately fell. She turned and looked at Janeth with a nod. Janeth immediately screamed hysterically and hugged their mother. The police tried to calm Janeth. Meanwhile Jennifer was stunned. She sat in the waiting room of the morgue. Her ears heard several police officers say that the accident looked odd. It seems that both of Jennifer's parents were killed and then made as if they were accident victims. The funeral procession was carried out after the police conducted an autopsy. Surprisingly, Janeth and Jennifer were not informed of the results of the police investigation. This feels odd. Every time Jennifer asked one of the cops a sentence she wrote on a piece of paper. Instead, the police changed the subject and asked Jennifer to be patient and accept the deaths of her parents. Surprisingly, after the incident happened. Several policemen stood guard at Jennifer's house. Some guests also came and asked Jennifer and Janeth many questions. The most asked question is about the laboratory. Jennifer and Janeth didn't know it. They are both busy studying, playing and spending their time like any other teenager. After a month had passed, some guests began to come less frequently. Until one night, Jennifer was awakened by someone's voice. She got up to see who was coming. Jennifer slowly got down and looked into the study. There was a policeman and a man. Jennifer had never seen before. However, Jennifer seems to feel familiar with the man. "Hello beautiful girl! Did I wake you up?" asked the man. Jennifer nodded. "Call me Jims, OK?" Jennifer nodded again. "You must be Jennifer. You're a grown man now." Jennifer gestured. She asked what Jims was doing here. For a moment the man looked at Jennifer. Then he bent down and grabbed Jennifer's shoulders. "I am a friend of your father's. We work for the state. So I came here to see the rest of your father's unfinished work. But we couldn't find your father's place of work," said Jims. Jennifer hinted at the question, is it a laboratory? "Right. You're smart. Do you know where it is?" Jennifer shook her head. She really didn't know. Suddenly Jims grabbed the necklace pendant that Jennifer was wearing. "Is this a gift from your father?" asked Jim. Jennifer nodded. Jim was silent. "It's getting late. You need to sleep, okay?" said Jim. Jennifer nodded then decided to go back to her room. On the way back to her room she saw several police officers still standing guard in front of her house. Jennifer is not a stupid girl. She was sure there must be someone who killed her parents related to her father's work. Because, everyone asked where her father's private laboratory. When she returned to her room Jennifer saw Janeth was awake and crying. She must have remembered the death of their parents again. Jennifer immediately hugged Janeth. The car horn snapped Jennifer out of her past memories. She immediately got off the bus. Then she walked into the residential area. She had to walk several blocks to get to the house. It was a long way, but Jennifer had to be frugal. After all, she can walk while exercising. Several neighbors greeted Jennifer. They are very friendly. When both of Jennifer's parents died, several neighbors took turns sending them food. Until Jennifer asked one of her closest neighbors to help her teach cooking. In between time Jennifer also studied self-defense at school. Without parents she must be strong. Mainly to look after Janeth. Jennifer learns taekwondo. You're going to make me bump into someone!" Janeth shouted, laughing.
