CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Drake wanted to get his life back to normal.
Sitting in his limousine, he adjusted his tie. Tonight’s gallery opening was the kind of event he enjoyed attending. Four of his favorite things would be there—art, food, wine, and women.
A newer assistant on the seventeenth floor, a cheerful young woman with short, spiked hair, had invited him to her sister’s first exhibit. Drake was happy to accept the invitation. His brief appearance at a new artist’s show would create buzz and bring much-needed publicity. It was the least he could do for his employee and her sister.
