Drake sat next to Chaney in the limousine while they rode toward a suburb of Los Angeles. He’d gotten more than he bargained for tonight—an associate producer for the final episode, a permanent employee if all went well with the “trial period,” and a date for tonight.
But he was here to make amends for Chaney losing her job and for...other reasons.
