After I left Sonja’s room, I strode purposefully towards my office while I tried to suppress the intense emotions swirling inside of me. As soon as I entered, I forcefully shut the door behind me before sinking into my desk chair. Taking a few deep breaths, I ran my hands over my face while I tried to contain the overwhelming desire to hold her in my arms and never let go.
