Taylor pov

I swear all i could think about right now is if i am being watched, If I know Callahan like i do, He will send guards to watch me to make sure I don’t run, I really don’t care because If i do decide to go, I will only go to find my mate, it's the only reason why i would go there. I couldn’t help but think of Callahan over the years. I wondered if he finally found his mate. I wondered if he had any pups. I wondered how his mother was. A part of me wanted to sneak over the border to see everyone. i missed my friends, but if my friends missed me wouldn't they have tried to come see me? They all probably thought I killed Callahan's father. I tried telling them. I tried explaining to them, I still remember it like it was just yesterday. I remember the she leopard that was just standing there watching the fight going on. She looked so much like the queens leopard. Even the white on the tail, the only difference was it wasn’t the queen. there was someone else beside her watching all of this, I wish i knew who it was. Maybe one day I will find out. I still remember trying to save him. I tried closing the wounds with my power, but I still wasn't eighteen so it barely came through, I wish I could have saved him. But I just couldn’t. Noone else knows I have the healing power. I never told anyone. I can’t use it because if they knew they would use me to heal every chance they could get. So I decided to talk to my Cat Kimmie, shes been thinking about the ball as well.

‘Alright Kimmie, what's in the beauitful head of yours? Tell me your thoughts on the Royal mating ball. Do you think it's a setup to try and kill me, or is there really a mating ball in four weeks?”

“Taylor to be honest. I don’t know. I want to go back to see if we will find our mate. Once we find our mate we will go with him. we will have a pack to live with. and will be happy. I say let's go. If Callahan and his mother want to know what I know about what really happened then we will have a chance to clear our name. If not, we stay clear from them as much as we can, We get in there find our mate then leave.”

“I think that is a wonderful plan, Then we are going right?”

“Right, If they try to hurt us again. This time we will fight back to save our lives.”

We have three more weeks before the Royal mating ball. I need to find the perfect dress to catch Callahan's eye. He will pick me for sure once he sees what I'm wearing. it has to be classy, well classy it is, I warned the she cats to stay away from my man, Well he isnt my man just yet. But he will be once he sees my dress, I will make sure that i stand right beside him all night long. Maybe he will bring me as his date. As long as i play my cards right I can do this. I swear if he finds his mate at this mating ball, I will challenge her and win. I will have him for myself. I headed out to find the perfect dress, I stopped at the first store. I walked inside a sales woman came over to me in a hurry. She had a wide smile on her face, i think she knew i was looking for a dress for the ball., our Land expands wide, We even own stores. I knew this woman, Her name is Katie, She knew everything about Dresses, She made most of her items, she orders the other half when someone wants something different then she makes,

“Hey Mrs Katie, I'm looking for a dress that will catch the king's eye. Something Classy, but also shows a little, i watched her nod, she knew how i felt about Callahan,

“Alright honey. But remember, You might not be his mate. So make sure you won't be too upset. I might have a few dresses for you to try on. Come on and follow me” I couldn’t believe she had said that to me. Try not to be too upset if i'm not his mate. I already knew I wasn't. I am just trying to make sure he notices me and if he doesn't find his mate then he would choose me to be his mate and queen. I know I have left him alone, only nodding at him and having simple conversations with him. I want him to think ive changed so he would pick me, Though he has been thinking a lot lately. Having his office closed, having meetings about someone they are looking for, I wonder If its a rogue they are looking for, Katie showed me a few dresses, they looked really beautiful, I went into the dressing room to try them on. The first one was a white strapless dress, with beading down the middle. I didn't want to wear white just in case I had to fight someone, But i am going to buy this because I liked it alot. The second one

was a purple off the shoulder dress that went to my knees, i liked it as well,. the third was a black dress that went past my hips. If I bent over or bent down it wouldn’t show anything. It showed a little cleavage, it had a small slit on the right side of the dress., It looked really classy. I changed and put on my street clothes, i brought out all three dresses,

“Katie you know what. I will take all three dresses. You do amazing work.” Her silver eyes lit up, she smiled like she was so happy.

"Katie, Are you going to the royal ball too? You know you just might find your mate."

"I don't know Tabby, I've had a mate. But he died during the cold war. I don't think I have a second chance mate."

"Never say never." We smiled at each other. I paid for my dresses. She packaged them up so they wouldn't get ruined. Next was the shoe store. But they didn't only have shoes. They had jewelry and purses to match. So I went in there and picked out shoes that would match the dresses. Jewelry and purses to match. I went home very satisfied because I found what I was looking for. Look oit Callahan because your in for a shock. I'll show you what you will be missing if you do not pick me. I am certain you will. If anyone tries to get near him they will be sorry.

Katie pov

When Tabby walked into the store I knew what she was looking for. I knew she was wanting to be with Callahan. I for one think it's crazy. But nothing will stop her. So I picked out three dresses for her. And to my surprise she bought all three. She asked if I was going to the ball. I might. But I would probably go just to see how everyone is doing. If there is a mate out there. He's probably long gone now. At Least i have my store i sell the items for the sells to make new clothing, plus pay the rent on the building, The king was kind to me, to give me this building, but i insisted on paying rent, he said,

‘Fine, How about four hundred a month,”

“I am fine with that. But please if you need me to make you anything. Please give me a call.” He nodded and said okay it's a deal. I've been here for almost five hundred years, we rebuilt the buildings and i upgraded the dresses., its been fun making all of my clothing, and i will continue to do so.
