It has been two years now Callahan still had not found his mate, It's time for a royal mating ball, he might fight me on this, But it has to be done, he needs a heir for the throne, So i took a deep breath then i called him into my office, i was ready for this fight, when he walked into my office, i was already standing in front of my desk, he looked scared like he did something wrong,

“Callahan relax, you didn't do anything wrong, I just need to speak with you about something, besides your a grown man now, you don't need to be scared of your mother,"

"Alright then, What is it? Is everything okay?"

Callahan pov

Was she kidding me, A Royal Mating Ball. I wasn't ready for this, I was still trying to decide if I wanted to reject Taylor or not. It's a hard decision. I was thinking it was time to let her go, I haven't even thought about her being my mate anymore. But now, I really don't like this at all.

“Mother. I do not need a mating ball, these females will be all over me.

“Mom, I already have a mate, i do not need it or need to choose a mate.”

“How come you didn’t tell me this before? Who is she? What is her name, is she from royalty? Why isn't she here with us right now?” Alright well she might get angry on what i'm about to say, But it needs to be said, Or she would keep on until i decided to choose someone, I better be ready for her wrath,

“Are you kidding me Callahan! It can not and will not be her! she killed your father, we banished her to never return or she would be killed, i forbid you to have her as a mate!’ i had to put my foot down, I know she is my mother, but she can not forbid me to do anything I am the king,

“Mom, just think about this, if she had killed my father, do you think she would have stayed there holding him drenched in his blood in hers and whoever else's blood until we came, she would have ran and hid to never be seen again? When we had gotten there she tried to tell us what happened, but we wouldn't listen to her, we tossed her to the ground beat her locked her up then whipped her with the whip, we were so angry that we wouldn't listen to her side of the story,” I stood there with my arms cross watching my mom. she was thinking hard on this, she understood where i was coming from. she finally nodded at what i just said.

“Your right son, But we banished her years ago, she is long gone now, where would we look? we don't even know where to start."

“I know where she is. she's in the only place i knew who would take her and watch over her, i could not entirely let her go, She's been housekeeping for a friend of mine and going to college to get her studies done, she has no mate and has not dated as far as i know.”

“So you’ve been watching her all this time? and looking after her?”

“Yes I have. I needed to make sure she was safe. I knew in my heart she didn't do this. We need to bring her back, and hope she can forgive us for what we had done to her.”

“lets just hope my son, lets just hope.” I was thinking what my mom just said, i really hope she would come back, or i would have to force her to come back to the kingdom, i'm not sure what i'm going to do if she can’t forgive, i'm not even sure what i will do when i finally find out the truth, Is this really happening, am i bringing my mate back after all these years, will she forgive me?
