Lenora slowly strode about the living room with Lea cuddled in her arms. She watched in fascination as Lea suckled on the warm bottle of milk whilst she fought against the pull of sleep. Lenora gently shook Lea awake, she needed her to finish her milk first.
“Just a little more princess,” Lenora whispered to Lea, and kissed her forehead. As if understanding the vampire’s request, Lea’s eyes opened and she continued to drink her milk.
The clank of heels sounded and Lenora regarded Hanna, who walked into the living room. Lenora set the empty bottle down once Lea was finished and moved to burping her little princess against her shoulder.
“James has left. He’ll be back in a few hours with more answers,” Hanna commented as
