The service was a beautiful, attended by many from the tiny town. Beto gave a very moving eulogy, and even asked Carlos to join him at the end. There was a montage of pictures, some Carlos recognized, others fairly new, and a lot of tears from friends and family alike. Carlos was touched to see all those faces as he scanned the room, until he reached one at the end. There, sitting with his family, was Domingo Menchaca, doing his best to look solemn.
