THE ONE NIGHT STAND

1280 Words
(MARILYN’S POV) This man, my savior looked like a god and I am not just saying this because I am drunk or because he saved me. His body frame was the most attractive I had ever seen and once I saw his face, I decided that he was the most handsome man I had ever laid eyes upon. He had brown dreamy eyes and light brown hair with a perfect face that looked like it was carved by angels. “Are you alright?” He asked me. I nodded, unable to answer because I was dumbfounded, it was like all the words had been pulled out of my mouth . He nodded at me accepting my reply as he staggered to sit beside me. That was when I noticed that he was tipsy just like me. “Thanks for saving me!” I said to him. “Yeah.” He answered simply and he continued drinking. “You don’t look okay. What’s wrong?” I asked him after a hiccup. “Just a bad day.” He said to me with a grouchy tone. He sounded unfriendly like he did not want to talk some more. I know that was supposed to chase me away but somehow, it made me feel more attracted to him. “Sorry about that Cowboy.” I said to him nodding at his hat and then I looked down at my fingers. “I’m having a bad day too.” I did not expect a reply from him but he surprised me by turning around to look at me. I looked up at him and felt shy under his gaze. “Care to share?” He asked me as he went on drinking. I shrugged. I was not used to being so open with strangers but something about him made me feel like it was okay. Maybe it was because he saved me, or because of how tipsy I was or because of how gorgeous he is. I would say it is a little of the three. “I had to leave my whole life and come to this new place because of my mum!” I said throwing my hands in the air with a scoff. And then I reached for my glass but before raising it to my lips, I added. “And oh! I got cheated on. My boyfriend was sleeping with my best friend.” I sniggered even though it hurt just saying it. “Oh! Well that must really hurt.” The gorgeous but drunk cowboy said to me. Then he eyed me and I became conscious under his gaze. “Why would he cheat on you? You’re very beautiful.” His eyes looked intent when he said it and I felt my cheeks go red. I looked away shyly. I know I am beautiful but I don’t feel very beautiful and I definitely feel worse after being cheated on. “Thank you.” I said shyly and then I sighed. “But I was not beautiful enough for Chris.” The cowboy laughed and the sound was so nice to hear that it ignited something in me and made him look even more attractive. “Anyone who says that you’re not beautiful enough for them is blind.” He said and then he looked deeply at me. For a second, I thought I saw a flash of desire but then he looked away again. “Th-Thank you.” I stammered shyly and then I shrugged. “Maybe it’s because I’m a V-“ I wanted to say virgin but I stopped myself. I felt embarrassed even though I had always thought there was nothing wrong with me being a virgin. I was saving myself for a special moment when I was ready with Chris. But now that was not going to happen. I felt embarrassed because I am more of a good girl and I did not want the gorgeous cowboy to know that. Thankfully, the cowboy seemed to have skipped my unfinished sentence and he was ordering for a refill. “Why are you having a bad day?” I asked him. “Don’t wanna talk about it.” He said with a hiccup. I did not press further. “So, you don’t like this place.” He said to me. “I didn’t want to leave the city.” I said “So why did you?” He asked me “Because I love my mum.” I answered. He nodded and then he raised his glass at me. “Here’s to bad days.” He said. “Let’s forget it all and drink it away.” We drank some more together and soon I was throwing myself all over this sexy stranger. I just needed someone to help me escape from this emotions tonight but he was resisting strongly. “You look really young.” He said with a drunken look. I smiled mischievously then feeling more confident because of the alcohol, I have two ID cards , one is the original and the other fake. Some of my friends back in New York made it as a prank. I handed it to this stranger. “I’m 26!” I lied to him. I’m turning twenty one in a couple of weeks and so it’s not like I’m a baby anyway besides, I really wanted to be with him. The stranger looked at the ID card and then he slid it back to me and continued drinking. We danced together and then the next thing, I pulled him in for a passionate kiss which turned out to be the most electrifying kiss in my entire life. He pulled back first. “You’re drunk and sad.” He said to me. “So are you.” I said to him. “I want this more than anything.” I pleaded in a whisper and then I kissed him again and just like before, the kiss made me feel a lot. He must have felt it too because his hands moved so hungrily over me just as I was pulling him more to my body. We stumbled in to one of the rooms in the back and locked it behind. I took my top of as we kissed and I reached to undo his own shirt hungry for the feel of his bare skin. He stopped me however “Are you sure?” The beautiful man asked me as he pulled back to look at me. I thought for a moment and then I nodded my head at him. Chris was gone from my life now and so was New York! I was having a fresh start. “I am as sure as anything.” I said and I kissed him and ripped open his shirt. My life had taken a different turn anyway and I suddenly wanted to do something drastic to make me feel better. Plus, this had to be the sexiest man alive and I wanted him badly His hard chest made me want him even more and we collapsed to the bed and made love. Our bodies molded against each other as we kissed and moaned gripping each other’s hair in passion. When I felt him inside me, I ignored the pain I pulled him closer as I let out a cry before straddling him. And there and then, I knew that I would never regret the night. The next morning, I woke up with a headache and then I realized two things, one is that I gave my virginity to a total stranger and two, the stranger was no where to be seen.
