NORA I sat on my bed, my eyes fixed on the view outside the window. The riverbed was calm, the water flowing steadily as the sun shone down on it, casting a golden glow. I couldn’t help but marvel at the beauty of nature. The room was cozy, with wooden walls and floors. A rug lay on the floor beside the bed, adding to the warmth of the room. There was a dresser in one corner, and a bookshelf in another. The bed was large and comfortable, with fluffy pillows and a soft duvet. It was not as extravagant as the room Ashton had provided me in his pack house, but it was warm, and cozy and made me feel right at home. I took a deep breath and let out a contented sigh.
