RHETT I stood there, dumbfounded, my heart racing in my chest. I had just kissed Nora, and she hadn’t refused me. It was as if time had stopped, and the world around us had faded into oblivion. I couldn’t believe what had just transpired between us. The air was thick with anticipation, a charged atmosphere that crackled with unspoken words and hidden desires.
