Axel pov He hated giving out ultimatums, but he had no choice. His sweetness was going to get hurt if she didn’t have the protection of the Devil’s MC after what she had done. The Ghost’s would be gunning for her after the disrespect. Axel also had to call church for his MC and they were not going to like what he had to say. He has been trying to get rid of the club girls for a long time as he found them in bad taste. The club was supposed to be about loyalty. How is it loyal for a member to screw a club girl and then go home to his old lady? The clubhouse was being renovated which is why most of the club would often meet at the bar his mother owned. When he became President it was the first thing that he wanted to do. Axel first had to come up with the funds for the renovations which was close to a million dollars. That took six months and then the renovations began. The renovations were a nightmare and thus why the Devil’s had flocked to his mother’s bar. Despite the renovations there was always a place to go to church. Church was the first place that was renovated and now it was a beautiful place for the club to hold their meetings. Grim stood up in front of his club members and called the meeting to order. Then Axel stood up and walked in front of the room. “Well guys I have news that no one is going to want to hear, but as I’m sure you know I have been wanting to get rid of the club girls for a long time. I believe that a motorcycle club is about loyalty and if you are not being loyal to your old lady then you are not being loyal to the club. So tonight is their last night within the club, the girls can find jobs in one of our many establishments but getting paid to lay on their back is done for.” Axel finished his speech and the crowd erupted in protest, well except for the few that were faithful to their women. Those remained silent. “You can’t do that!” “I’ll walk!” “That goes against club rules!” Axel pulled out his .45mm 1911 Colt handgun and fired a shot of breaking a window. Damn it. That was just fixed. Everyone fell into silence. “The decision is final you don’t like it then I can end you right here or you can turn in your cut.” There was a tense silence for a moment before everyone sat back down. “Now as far as the Devil’s rules, there is no rule that the club has to accept or supply club girls. They have been an unwritten rule, one that I have never liked. They stop tonight, while I can’t enforce you to be loyal to your women but the MC will stop providing the women for you.” Axel looked at each of the men who shouted at him dead in the eye before continuing. “In the Devil’s I expect you to be loyal to the club, how to I know you are being loyal if you are not being loyal to your old lady?” Axel asked. “Well I think this is about a b***h you screwed,” Viper said maliciously and honestly this comment gave him a perfect opportunity. It also pissed him off. Axel did not like this son of a b***h. The man was violent with his old lady and the club girls. He had often found them bleeding after he forced himself on them. He had tried to get rid of him many times, but Viper was from the previous era and nothing worked. Axel walked off his raised area of the hall and stalked to viper. The old bastard had a smug look on his face until he spoke, “Did you just talk bad about my old lady?” Axel asked as he raised his handgun. Panic showed in his eyes, No I did-“ Viper tried to defend himself but Axel shot him and he felt to the floor. Axel looked around at the reactions and none felt anger at the man’s death, most seemed relieved and a little scared. Though they tried to hide it. There was a tense silence until a voice spoke up. “Prez what do we do with the girls?” Moose asked breaking the tension. He was one of the men who was loyalty to his old lady. He was a good man. “We have several businesses they can find jobs, my mother assured me that she had a place for a few of them.” Axel paused before continuing. “They will be taken care of, just not on their back.” Axel walked out of the hall and went in search of his sweetness. The meeting was over and he had other s**t to take care off. Briar pov She ignored the ultimatum that was given to her by Axel and continued on her life like normal. Briar also had to focus on this big case for her boss. Briar left work that day and had several missed calls. She ignored the ones she didn’t recognize as she assumed it was Liam with his buddy’s phone and gave Nicole a call back. “b***h! Let’s go out tonight!” Nicole screamed loud in her ear so loud she had to pull the phone away. “Nic I can’t, or the middle of the week and I’m in the middle of a case,” she responded to her friend as she got in her car. “Come on Briar, it will be fun and you know it!” Nicole responded and Briar sighed. “Fine, but I’m not getting dressed up,” she responded as she looked at her white floral sundress and pink shrug. “No problem, let’s go get some tacos and margaritas,” her friend responded. That is how Briar found herself two margaritas and five tacos in not even fourth-five minutes later. She was getting a nice buzz on enjoying her time with Nicole when fourt very loud women came waltzing in. “I can’t believe that asshole did this to us, after all we did for the club!” One women shrieked. “Come on Jaz you are just mad you never got the chance to break the monk,” another one cackled. “Now I’ll never get the chance after the Devil’s told us we can’t be club girls anymore and all for the Prez’s old lady,” the women named Jaz moaned and Briar almost spit out her drink. The Prez as in Axel? He did what? He got rid of the club girls? He could do that? When Briar has asked Liam if he could get rid of the girl his response was that it wasn’t in his power to do so. Nicole started slapping her arm across the table and Briar responded back trying to shush her. She had to listen to this conversation. “Yeah now it seems we will have to get jobs or go over to the Ghost MC,” another woman spoke up. “Do you think they will take us? Given the feud?” One woman laughed, “The prez’s name is magnet given how much he loves the club girls. I’m sure they will welcome us with open arms.” The feeling of happiness at hearing Axel could have made this monumental change for her faded away at the old familiar hurt. The buzz that she had faded away in and instant as the girls behind her continued to gossip. “Excuse me please,” Briar told her friend that tried to stop her, but she just had to get out of there. Briar ran outside to her car and took a deep breath as she paced by her car. She knew that she couldn’t go anywhere as she was over the legal limit. “Rose!” A deep familiar voice called to her and she looked to see Liam standing there wearing his cut and his tattoo on display. Though she noticed a second named added to the first; “Grayson.” She hated that she still found that cheating jerk attractive still. Willow decided to hide that attraction with apathy. “What are you doing here Magnet?” Briar had never used his road name before and her ex-fiancée clearly didn’t like it as his head reared back a little. Liam took a breath clearly trying to calm himself. “Briar I know I f****d up okay, but everything is going to change. I talked to my dad and-“ “And what Liam?” Briar exploded. “Do you not realize how messed up that is? You have to check with your father before you could remain faithful to me? I mean Liam why did you propose to me if you had no plans to remain true to your marriage vows? Did you ever even love me?” Briar asked as her heart broke open before him and he look upset, but Liam remained stoic. “I do love you Briar.” “But not enough to remain loyal to me or change any rules for me.” Liam knew how she felt about those girls and he brushed it aside. “That’s just not the way it is done,” Liam stated indignantly. “I did it,” Axel’s voice came onto the scene and Briar wasn’t surprised at this point. Honestly she didn’t even understand why Axel was fighting for her. “What?” Liam asked shocked. “Yeah,” Axel smirked. “I’m sure you will find a place for them at the Ghost MC,” Axel stated crudely not knowing that comment just dug into her. “No, you can’t-“ “I can do whatever I want, I can also protect Briar unlike you,” Axel said in a way that made her stand at attention. “What does he mean?” Briar asked Liam and for once both men were silent. “Some one tell me what is going on!” She screamed. “After what you did, your life is in danger for embarrassing the Prez of the Ghost MC,” Axel stated bluntly and Briar was speechless as she looked into the face of the man who she loved for years and he didn’t deny the claim. “You…you want to end my life?” Briar choked out. “No, Briar,” Liam took a step forward and her flight or flight instincts kicked in. She ran.
