Book 1- The plan
Revenge that’s what she was here for. It took Briar over six months to plan the revenge on her cheating fiancé. Ex-fiancé. She will never forget the day she walked in on Liam having s*x with one of the club girls. Her heart broke when Briar found one of the club girls riding his c**k. The pair of their moans continued to echo in her ears as she tried to sleep at night.
He lied. “No baby. I’d never sleep with one of those girls.”
He cheated. “Briar, this isn’t what it looks like.”
He manipulated her. “I love you.”
It was all a lie. He was a liar.
Briar was planning a surprise pregnancy reveal party with the other biker girls and ‘old ladies.’ She got the surprise when she found Liam having s*x with a club girl in their entertainment room. The look of panic on his face when he had been caught was seared into her brain. Liam seemed to be frozen, but not the girl riding him and not the other ‘old ladies.’ The girl on-top of him didn’t stop gyrating on-top of him. Then the women they went after Liam and Briar went out the front door.
Liam of course showed up to her front door still stinking like the woman he screwed and tried to explain himself. It took an hour of pleading, crying, and finally screaming to get the truth out of him. Liam had been sleeping with club girls the entire time they were together. The admission that it was his responsibility to keep up his reputation as the club president broke her. She told Liam to leave and that she couldn’t stand the sight of him.
They had been together for a year and a half. She had been humiliated, they all knew what he was up to and never bothered to tell her. Briar left and wished she could say she never looked back. However, that would be a lie. She was after all pregnant with his baby.
When Liam found out she was pregnant he blew up and has been begging for forgiveness. Liam bad boy exterior didn’t last as he was crying for a second chance at her apartment. Briar doesn’t want forgiveness. She wants him to feel pain. The same pain she felt when she started to bleed when she was pregnant at six months and had to give birth to a stillborn baby boy. Stillborn. Briar didn’t understand that term. The doctors still had to undergo labor pains, she just didn’t leave the hospital with a baby. Instead she buried her son. That was the second predominant memory she had of Liam. When she buried her precious Grayson. That’s what she named her son. Some one from the dumb club must of told him as he showed up. Briar still didn’t know how word got back to them. It was a small town after all.
The bastard had the balls to try and apologize. Hug her. Touch her. The same hands he had all over that woman. The same hands he cheated on her with.
She punched him so hard that his head snapped back. Liam was beyond shocked. While Briar was a sweet good girl, the upside of having four older brothers was that she learned how to defend herself at a young age.
“I hate you! I f*****g hate you!” She screamed and Liam’s eyes welled up. “I wish I never met you. You are the worst thing that ever happened to me.” Briar couldn’t say more as his men rushed in to protect their precious President.
“It’s okay Rose,”’ her friend Nicole pulled her away and Briar managed to make it to the car before she broke down even further and she did. She sobbed all over her friend. She was absolutely broken and she blamed him for everything.
That’s where tonight comes in. Briar was with her best friend at a seedy bar that she felt she could get hepatitis just if she put her hand in the wrong place. Briar bore it by taking another shot with her friend. Nicole told her that this is the bar the Devils MC often got drunk on the weekends. She didn’t know why as most clubs have a clubhouse, but she didn’t ask. She just continued to drink. She needed it.
Briar downed another drink quickly ignoring the slight burn of the rum and quickly tried waving down the bartender. She needed to be drunk to do this. Briar didn’t do well in social situations when she didn’t know the person. Briar wasn’t also one hundred percent convinced of the plan as she wasn’t exactly well versed in seducing men. She had slept with exactly three men in her twenty-six years of life. One in high school, her college boyfriend, and Liam. Nicole “slutted” her up for the night. She dressed her up in a form fitting black dress, did her makeup, and styled her red should length hair. She had no idea if men were looking at her or not, she just needed more to drink to work up her courage before she even looked for a man to try and flirt with.
“I gotta pee!!!” Nicole yelled and went to the bathroom before Briar could beg to to stay or go with her. Briar sighed and she continued to drink. The alcohol was finally hitting her system a little and Briar decided to have a look around at the bar. She did see what Briar now recognizes as the “cut” on some of the guys in the bar. So there was club members in the bar. Briar had no idea if they were from the club that Briar was looking for or not.
Liam was from the Ghost Demon’s MC and their biggest trouble was the Devil’s MC two towns over. That was why she was here. There was some kind of fued. There was a meeting tomorrow and Briar was going to sleep with a member of the fueding MC to get back at Liam. God it sounded so dumb in her head. It sounded so much better when Nicole told her the plan when she was getting ready this evening. Nicole wasn’t a member of either MC but knew the in’s and outs as most townspeople did who lived in the small town. Briar was still clueless despite living here for two years. She never paid attention to that stuff, her brothers would kill her. They are going to kill her.
She felt a presence of another person coming up to her and Briar thought it was Nicole coming back from the bathroom.
“Hey Jimmy!” The person called out and Briar looked up to see a very tall man standing next to her. Definitely not Nicole.
“What are you doing here beautiful?” His deep voice asked her leaning in. The man had to be at least six and a half feet tall. He was comparable to her oldest brother Oliver. He had shortly cropped blonde hair that reminded her of the military. He had a few tattoos on his arms and there she spotted it, the marines insignia on his forearm. He was a handsome man.
“What can I get you Reaper?” The bartender asked coming over and Briar eyed his cut. While Briar couldn’t recognize many of his patches she did recognize one as Liam had it as well.
“Another IPA and whatever the lady is having.” s**t. Is he the president? She was tongue tied as she waited for the drinks.
“What are you drinking gorgeous?” Gorgeous? That was a bit of an overkill. She knew that she had average looks. He’s definitely looking to hookup then, maybe she has her work cut out for her.
“Rum.” The man named Reaper raised his eyebrows and she shrugged her shoulders.
“I’m a girl drink drunk.” Briar quoted the great Dean Winchester causing him to let out a tiny chuckle. Damn he had a nice smile.
“Fair enough, I’m Axel.” He nodded his head and tipped his new beer back. Reaper must be his road name. Damn she really should write all of this stuff down. This MC life wasn’t for her. She went to college late, she spent two years nursing her dying mother. Then she went to school one state over in Missouri, it was the closest her brothers would let her go. She had graduated and while waitressing in a small town close to St. Louis one day Liam walked in. Her life was never the same. Some days she wished he had never shown up that day, otherwise she wouldn’t be here.
“Want to get out of here?” Axel asked out of nowhere and Briar was confused,
“And go where?” Axel’s eyebrows shot up in confusion.
“Back to my pack house.”
“Ummm,” Briar looked around for Nicole. This seemed too easy.
“Looking for some one?”
“Yeah, I came with my friend Nicole, I want to make sure she is okay before I leave her.” He seemed to relax,
“You know Nicole? She has an on again off again thing with my VP Grim,” Axel said and indicated with his head. Briar looked over and saw Nicole being pushed up against the wall. Oh that explains why she knows so much about MC’s
“Oh, let me just text her.” Briar sent off a quick text. Briar watched her pull out her phone and looked her way. Nicole gave her an abashed look and wave. They both let out a tiny chuckle. Axel leaned in close to her.
“I guess that means your all mine now.” Briar couldn’t help the blush in her cheeks as she stood up and walked out of the bar. Axel close behind her wish his hands on her back. Briar felt that hand all the way to insides.
He led her to his bike, which was an old vintage pan head Harley.
“Oh wow! You have a vintage pan head? She’s beautiful! Oh, but she’s a one seater.” She looked up to Axel in confusion, “how will I fit?” Axel looked at her with a quirk on his lips.
“Here, let me back out,” Axel got on his bike and back it out and started it up. The roar of the bikes engine came to life and he waved her over. “You are going to have to sit on my lap.” Briar walked over, not sure how she was going to sit on him and the antique bike that was worth a fortune. Soon Axel got tired of waiting and stood up, still straddling his bike and grabbed her by the waist. He put her on his lap before she knew what was going on and took off from the bar. Her back was plastered against his front, it was nice.
“Where are we going?” She hollered over the sounds of the engine.
“On a little drive,” Axel replied in her ear. Briar relaxed into his body as he started driving. She loved being on a bike and it was even better this way. Then she felt it, his manhood had started making itself known.
“God woman I want you,” he growled in her ear. She tried to clench her legs together and he laughed knowing the effect he had on her body.
