(Alexander's POV)

We were done with the trip and would be headed for the house again, I missed my pups and...Elizabeth, the hearing ha d gone as expected the proof the investigator collected, was more then enough to make it clear, that the ass wasn't with Elizabeth for the right reasons, now she was free...we were free to finally be together.

My tempter has been worse then it usually is, after we parted ways at the airport, my wolf has been on edge and uneasy, all I want to do right now is get Elizabeth alone and....I took a deep breath like I said my wolf has really been needing her...this was the main reason I kept Suzette around, but she mere scratched the surface of my need, now that I found my mate, it was going to be different.

First things first, I had a council meeting to attend, then I would be free to go home with my family. I walked up to the capital building and into the big office we didn't fill it the same way the congress humans did, but it was a good start. We held these meetings with the humans at least once a month for them to know what was going on in our areas, and what to be aware of.

Witches, vampires, shapeshifters, and yes werewolf if Elizabeth was officially my mate, she would be here with me, but I was alone to stand in front of the humans.We didn't fear them but those here wanted to be out in the open, no longer hide from them, and keep our people in check so we didn't need to go back into hiding. After we all reported in, one of the humans, stood up and asked me to stand.

"Alpha Alexander, we have spoken about this in the past and bring it up now, as we have come to a deicion ."

"Let me guess, you didn't heed my suggestion, and have made the choice of replacing me?"

The congress man stuttered for a moment, but cleared his throat and continued.

"Yes, we think there is a better leader, and ask you..."

"No need, keep the excuse, I just reported the attacks on the packs and you still think this is the best action, fine... I will have the house emptied in the next few days anyway, have fun with the other werewolf, hope he's as easy to work with as me."

I didn't wait for him to finish I just took my seat and waited to see who they had picked but already knew it was Jason. He walked out as the congress man presented him to the others, no body liked Jason they didn't say anything, but their faces and expressions told me so. I got to my feet one more time, they might have betrayed me before but, they needed a leader.

"I only ask one thing!"

Everyone turned back to me.

"Yes, Alpha Alexander?"

"If he's going to be in charge of all packs, I will take charge of my old pack."

"Awww, Alexander, you want to take back the pack that betrayed you before that's so forgiving of you."

"That will be fine with us." said the congress woman, they swore him in and after we were all excused, Jason came other to me.

"The house will be empty in four days."

"No need, I bought a condo, and am already moved in, thanks though."

"What about Emma and the kids?"

He gave me a smug smile and walked away from me, what had he done with his family? I asked Ben to drive us to the village and to head for Emma's and Jason's house. When I got there Emma looked so sick and weak, the bastard had rejected her, their bonds were broken. I took her and the kids with me and headed straight for the hospital, they took in her and got her comfortable. The kids went home with me, I don't think Elizabeth would mind.

I felt my spirits lift when I smelled her, I needed her. but right as I walked up with Emma's kids Suzette's car pulled up, I didn't stop walking I kept on going until I was inside and found the kids, Marsha and Elizabeth, sitting by the fire place. They all screamed or jumped.

"Jeez, you guys scared the bejeebers out of us!"

"Really what are you guys doing?"I asked as I turned on the lights, and my kids ran toward me gave me a hug and then their cousin's, then ran off to play.

Elizabeth gave me smile, but then I felt Suzette stand right behind me and the smile was gone.

"I'll wait for you in the office." Suzette said in a very sultry voice.

I nodded and then I turned back to Elizabeth, she wasn't looking at me now.

"Eliz..."

"I'm going to check on the kids!"

She walked away in an angry aura, I was just wanting this day done with, so I went up stairs to talk to Suzette and just get this done. Suzette was where she always was, by the window but this time she looked scared and worried.

"What did you want Suzette, I'm tired and just ready to be done, so speak."

She walked up to me, and laid her head on my chest. After while I slowly pushed her off and went to sit in my desk, she was trying to seduce me again.

"So it really is over?"

"Yes, it is, so what did you want?" she came over in front of me and knelt in front of me. I was so frustrated that I grabbed her before she could touch me.

"I just wanted to say good-bye." her words sounded like a bunch of lies, why. Then I looked at the door for some reason, and got a small whiff of Elizabeth's scent, she had walked by.I glared back at Suzette and forced her to stand up.

"Get the f**k out of my house, I told you it was over it's over."

"We had fun didn't we, Alexander, you still want me, she won't be able to do what I do..."

"Suzette, have some dignity, you knew it's never been a secret, Just leave!"

She looked hurt, but I didn't care I had told her from the beginning she wasn't my mate or even my girlfriend, she was my mistress, no ties and once I didn't need her it was done. She walked out and quickly left the house, I took a deep breath and headed down to the kitchen. Where I was sure Elizabeth was.

She was and so were Emma's kids she was serving them some dinner, it was time for dinner after all.

"Okay you guys let's head to the dinning room and eat everyone be careful."she said guiding the kids out.

"Elizabeth we need to talk."

"Not now, I'm busy..."

"Marsha, can you come and watch the kids, I need to speak with Elizabeth." I mind linked Marsha and in a few minutes she was here.

"Marsha's here now let's go.."

"No..." She said glaring at me, and pulled her arm away from me.

This was going to be a long night.

(Liz's POV)

I walk up stair to get Eden's teddy bear and look over to find them all snuggled up with each other, then when I come back out, she giving him a freakin blow job, are you f*****g kidding me.

This was my mate, honestly, a man that has a mistress under the same roof as his mate, disgusting. Then he want's to talk to me, alone no doubt, instead of just telling me what the hell he wants, he has to get me alone.

Suddenly I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me out of the dinning room, and up the stairs. Then he swung me into his office and closed the doors behind him. He was breathing heavy and I could see his wolf peeking out at me. I just kept my head down and my eyes averted. Then he slowly walked up to me and brought me tightly to his body burying his face in my neck, and taking deep breaths, I can hear light growls coming from him. I wasn't really scared, but I didn't dare move away.

He suddenly place a soft kiss in my neck, it made me gasp, it just caught me so off guard, but I could feel him smile at my reaction.Then very slowly he stepped away and looked at me, then moved to his desk, he offered me a chair I stayed standing.

"I have some news, good or bad is how you take it, they replaced me in the high council."

"Well, that's too bad."

He grinned at my lack of enthusiasm, but continued.

"We'll be moving back to my old pack, I won't require your services as a Nanny anymore."

I felt my heart shatter, he was telling me to leave, but I didn't cry, I just turned and was just heading out the door, when he stopped me and turned me to face him.

"Elizabeth where are you going?"

"To get my things, you guys don't need me anymore, I'm leaving."

Something seemed to snap in him as he suddenly pinned me to the wall, looking into my eyes, his lips moved closer to mine, my wolf peeked out and did his. just as he kissed me, and it wasn't a peck it was full of passion, hunger, desire. My body roared with desire, but I pushed it down. and pushed him away slowly, both of us trying to catch our breaths.

"Mate." He said looking into my eyes, it had been a whisper but I heard him," You're my mate, Elizabeth, I'm not letting you go, not now not ever."

His words made me think of what I saw earlier, and I pushed past him and looked out the window.

"What about Suzette?" I asked trying to keep the hurt out of my voice.

"What about her?" he asked softly, I turned to look at him.

"I'm not going to be your mate, while you have a mistress!"

He seemed to understand what I was asking, and he sat on the edge of his desk.

"She's gone, it's been over weeks ago."

"Then why was she here?"

"She wanted to try her luck, but it didn't happen."

"Not in the bed room, but..."

"Not at all, she tried, I didn't let her."

I felt my face go a little red as he was confirming to me he didn't have s*x of any kind. I cleared my throat and looked away.

"I'm not asking you to have s*x with me, Elizabeth, not until you're ready, but I need you to start sleeping in my bed, in my room with me."

I felt a little relief, there was no pressure per say, but at least I'll be close to him. I nodded and he kissed me softy.

"The move will be our fresh start, and it will help you learn our ways a little better."

"OKay I just hope I don't step on too many toes on the way."

"The only thing that's going to happen is they will respect you or hate you, but as my mate and Luna of the pack, they will have to respect you."

"What if someone challenges me?"

"Well, then either you win and gain their respect or..."

"They think I'm weak?'

He gave me a look, but smiled and kissed my hands.

"I have faith in you."

I laughed at him honestly the lamest way to say yes, but I guess I'll take it.

"When do we leave?"

"IN the next four days, the movers will be coming tomorrow to take our things from the rooms mainly, this house belongs to the government."

I had to laugh how many things has he done with Suzette in this room, and them probably watching. Eww.

"Are we going back to the old pack house?"

"No, over the time of the trip, I asked for a new house to be built, somewhat next to the old pack house, there has been attacks on the packs, some leaving the pups orphans, so I'm making the old pack house a little bigger and make us a new home."

"Is that what happened in William's pack?"

"Yes, but they came upon a very strong she-wolf, that kicked ass."

"I had no control, she did it all herself."

"How do you feel about phasing?"

"Um.. nervous , scared, it looks really painful."

"I won't lie it will be at first, but once your use to it, it will be like nothing."

"Are you going to help me Alpha Alexander?" I teased him running my hands up his chest, he bit his bottom lip, and it had me going, I really couldn't promise nothing was going to happen tonight.

"Yeah, as best as I can, any way."

I smiled and kissed him on the cheek, and he hugged me,  I looked at my watch it was really late, and the kids were still up. So I pulled away from him.

"Let me go check on the kids, and I'll meet you in your room."

"Sounds like a plan."

I walked out of the office feeling lighter then I had felt in months, to my surprise Marsha already had them in sleeping bags in the living room knocked out asleep.She stood up and walked over to me.

"How'd it go?"

"Good, I think."

"That's good, Emma's kids were the first to go down, they haven't eaten for a couple days, so they were really worried about their Mom."

"I would be too, and from the sounds of it Jason has something to do with it right?"

Marsha looked around and whispered.

"He rejected her, after all these years, he rejected her and it almost killed her."

I shook my head and looked at the kids, this was definitely a new start for a lot of people.
