Little Hybrid

Luna POV “You need to feed Luna. We won’t last much longer. You will get sick,” Rose howled in my head. "First, we need to find a way out," I demanded. “I almost had him; he would let us bite him.” Rose moaned. “We can’t just feed from him, Rose. I doubt he even knows we are mates.” I snapped as I focused on my current situation. The strange man held me against him, motionless. “Do you think you could put me down?” I asked “Sorry,” he muttered as he placed me on the bed. Fuck, he was just in a towel, and my god, was he well-built. Dizziness hit me again, and I put my head in my hands. “You’re sick or hurt? Please tell me how I can help.” He said sincerely. “You can’t,” I whispered. “Please, at least allow me to try,” He asked again. “Finding my way home is necessary. My family can help.” I responded, hoping he would allow me to leave. “I’m afraid it’s unsafe for you to leave. I will have to sneak you out.” He responded “You need to tell him, Luna; if you don’t, we will never make it home,” Rose pleaded. “Do you not sense it?” I asked him “Sense what.” He asked as he moved closer to me. “He’s not a werewolf, Rose; he can’t feel the bond as we do.” I whimpered to my wolf. “Do you mean the strange connection between the both of us?” He asked. “Yes,” I responded. He walked even closer and placed his hand on my face. “I do not know what this is. To be frank, this is new territory for me. I can’t seem to make myself leave you. I want to be with you in every conceivable way.” He responded. I moaned at the contact. This was so bad. He withdrew and stared into my eyes. “Why do I feel this way about you? Did you cast some magic on me?” He asked. “We are mates,” I responded. He looked at me with confusion. I gulped. I had to trust the Moon Goddess despite not wanting to tell him. “The Moon Goddess destined us to be together. A mate is the other half of your soul. You are the only true partner for me as I am to you,” I tried to explain. “I’m you...” I tried to speak, but his lips found mine again. Despite my better judgment, it felt right to stay. He felt so right. “I’ve followed every rule, done as I was told my entire life, but with you, I’m willing to toss it all away just to feel you, taste you, and be one with you, and I don’t even know your name.” He admitted. “Luna,” I whispered. “I desire to kiss and more with you, despite my lack of experience. I’m trying to control myself, but whatever this mate thing is, I believe it.” He said against me. I wanted him just as badly. I wanted him to lose control. My body ached to feel him inside me, but my weakness got the best of me as the room became fuzzy. “You need to feed now,” Rose demanded. “You said you would toss everything away for a stranger. Are you sure about that.?” I questioned him in a weak voice. “I'm absolutely certain. When I pulled you from the water, I knew I never wanted to lose you.” He admitted. “Now, will you tell me how to help you?” He asked with a serious expression. “I need to feed,” I whispered. “Was it that hard to ask for food?” He smiled. “I don’t need food; I need blood,” I said as I turned myself from him. “You’re a vampire.” He snapped. I should have seen that coming. “I’m a hybrid. I’m werewolf and vampire, and if I don’t feed soon, I ...” I started as he pulled me against him. “Don’t say it.” His lips brushed against mine. “I don’t even know your name.” I squeaked as he brushed his wrist against my lips. “Damien, now feed little Hybrid.” He ordered There was no fighting him. I needed his blood right now to survive, so I gladly took it. His sweet blood filled my mouth, and my God, it tasted amazing. What was he? The power laced in his blood was like nothing I had tasted before. It was addicting. He was addicting. Was the bond supposed to feel this strong so fast? I pulled away, only taking what I needed, careful not to harm him. Savoring the last taste of him, I licked my lips. I felt amazing. My body buzzed as Rose fought for control. The mate bond should not be this addictive. Damien and I appeared to be in the same position. We were still strangers, but our souls yearned to be together. Damien pushed his body against mine as his hands moved slowly against my skin, exploring my body under the shirt he provided me. “Damien,” I repeated his name slowly. I loved the way it rolled off my tongue. “You do not know who I am, do you?” He responded, as his hands still moved slowly against my skin. “I’m sorry, I don’t,” I responded. “I’m Prince Damien of the Fae Realm,” he said proudly. “Fae,” I blurted out, causing him to stop momentarily. “I’ve only read of your kind in books,” I admitted. That would explain why his blood tasted so powerful. What was the Moon Goddess thinking about pairing me with a fae? “That means I’m in the Fae Realm,” I whispered, trying to process just how bad my current situation was. “Yes, you are he responded, and I don’t know how you got here. The portal between realms is sealed,” he explained. Rose whimpered. She already missed his touch. “Look, you are not safe here, but I’m going to hide you and keep you safe until we figure this out.” “I have never been one to break the rules, but our connection is real, and I won’t lose it. You are all I want, even though we just met,” he said sincerely. Tears formed in my eyes as I thought about my family. I was supposed to have a family dinner tonight. Piper and Kieren would be there. I needed my sister right now. “Don’t cry, little hybrid,” Damien said as he wiped my tear. “I know I sound selfish, but tonight we had a family dinner. Both my sister and Kieran were going to be present. My brothers were going to be there before they left for training.” “Time works differently in realms; one month here is only a day in your realm,” Damien said, trying to calm me. “Stay with me, and I'll help you find your way home,” he offered. “I promise,” I responded.
