Chapter 26 - Flashback

POV
FLASHBACK
"Aaron, you need to come home for the weekend." My father says over the phone
"I am not coming home and that's final! Khai and I are going to New Orleans for the festival." I speak
"Aaron McKenna asked for you" he sighs
"Still not coming home. Have fun." I hang up.
I throw my phone on the bed in the hotel Khai and I crashed.
We are going to skip school for the rest of the week and then fly out to New Orleans on Thursday.
"You're so dead when they find us" Khai says
I roll my eyes.
I throw myself on the bed. I bounce, I was exhausted. We've just finished with exams, and we were skipping school to party. I was going to be a street racer and then go to my dream of being an F1 racer. That was my ultimate goal. I have my life planne
